The Queen of Serpents

Eglė had never had tea before, spending most of her life under the sea and the other half in a medieval castle. She thanked the strange hare and took a sip, surprised at the warmth and taste. An interesting beverage, she would have to ask how it was made so that her servants could bring her some in her own home.

"It's an interesting place that you live in. The creatures and forests themselves are miraculous. How did you come across such a place?" she said, making conversation, not to mention she was genuinely curious about this place.

Eglė had only ever been to two places. Her home castle and the castle under the sea. No doubt that the undersea kingdom was much more exciting and extravagant. Land bored her. In fact, she would have to take these strangers to her home sometime, it was a marvelous sight to see and as neither seemed human it wouldn't be a problem of any kind.

That Todd fellow seemed strange, but of course Eglė was only thinking that he was male, and that maybe in his insanity he would like to rule the undersea kingdom. Maybe the Hare would, either way. Eglė's mind was always on men, always on finding a new husband to replace the one she had lost so long ago. The very thought of it made her coil tighter around the chair.

Todd sipped his tea casually, seeming completely at peace. He was scanning Egle with his eyes. He saw her coil tighter around the chair and that was when the Mad Hatter could not take it anymore. Todd jumped up and threw his tea glass to the ground. He covered his face with his hands and fell to the ground in heap, only to jump back up and point his finger at Egle like a child accusing another of something wrong. "How am I supposed to sit and drink my tea when you grow uncomfortably so! I saw you! I know!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. Before anyone could even react he sat back down in his chair and picked up a piece of the tea cup from the floor. He popped it in his mouth and smiled, "Why, how delicious!" He exclaimed.

"Yes, I have never been fond of rain," the invisible feline muses to Alice, "In fact, I tend to avoid anything involving water. However if it is shelter you seek, I could probably be convinced to share one of my catnap crooks for the evening."

The mushroom cap bounces faintly as the cat leaps down. Paw prints lead through the wildgrowth to large tree hollow. "Make yourself at home, pet. Perhaps in the morning we shall pay a visit to your beloved admirer."

"I will, my dear friend...Thank you again, Cat," Alice said softly, finding a place to sleep comfortably.

Red was immersed in her state of mania, unaware of the dart's toxins entering her body. Only about a minute later did she slightly feel the effects and notice the dart. Her eyes flew wide open, and an even more frantic state took her over. Though Molly was the only living thing around, Red did not suspect her. Instead her mutters grew louder.

"No...no...NO!!!" she screamed, moving the take the dart out, but it was too late. The toxins had fully taken over, and her eyes fluttered closed, struggling to stay open. As she sunk into unconsciousness, she could hear The Voice cackling; every dark, insane breath pierced her with horror.

She's not so little anymore...

Tinkerbell

User Image

Relieved to see another life form Tinkerbell fluttered towards the light emitting from underneath the door. Her head shifted from the light to the stables, where the cat had ran off too. Which to choose? Deciding that she was tired of the constant curiosity and this strange place she shook her head and easily slid her body through the opening between the bottom of the door and the ground.

As soon as she entered Tinkerbell felt a rush of heat coming from a hearth not too far from her entrance. She hadn't realized how cold it was outside, she had gotten too used to the temperature after being out there for so many hours. Moving through the air in silence Tinkerbell perched herself atop the crystal chandelier hanging from the high ceiling. From up there she glanced around at her new surroundings in complete awe.

Who lives here and why is everything so strange? She wondered to herself and couldn't imagine any kind of answer. I'm definitely not in Neverland anymore.

Molly watches Red struggle and eventually succumb to sleep. Once she was convinced that the other girl was out, she goes around cleaning up their mess. She seals up the soup and wraps up the meat. Least we'll have plenty to eat tomorrow night.. she thinks to herself. Giving Red a glance, she sighs. Moving over to the girl's now sleeping form, Molly covers her up so she won't get cold. "Bloody crazies.." she murmurs, repeating her earlier thoughts, only this time there was a slight fondness to it. She couldn't help it. The odd little psycho was growing on her.

Lastly, Molly sets up a couple of traps to ensure their slumber is not disturbed. Then she curls up herself, musing internally about the strange day, until sleep finally catches up to her.

Strange Little Horror
Knowing exactly where the medical kit was, Gretel quickly retrieved it and knelt beside the boy. He still seemed to be out cold. With surprisingly expert skill, she gently cleaned and wrapped his head, ridding of close to all of the dried blood surrounding his wound and around his head.

He would have to stay there until he awoke. While she waited, Gretel worked on pathcing holes in her and Hansel’s clothes.

As Peter lay upon the cold ground, his memories were leaving him even colder inside with nightmares:

He was flying after a ship through a sea of stars that he never seems to catch up to despite his greatest attempts. Peter wasn't sure why, but he needed to get onto that ship, because something, no, someONE important was on there wating for him. Then suddenly it started to pull away slowly, the faster, and faster, and no matter what he did, it kept pulling away. Then he suddenly fell into the darkness into something warm, heavy liquid that smelled mettalic, when he opened his eyes he recognized the red substance he was wading in: BLOOD. He looked around and saw a girl, whose face was indistinguishable and his bones chilled to the core when he heard her say, "Why didn't you save me? Why?"

Peters head flew up off of the bed, cold sweat coming down his face. He looked around and saw that it was dark outside, and he heards one, no two sleeping people? he started to get up pain in his head flared and when his hand flew to the source, and he found that it was bandaged. "What happened to me? Where am I?" he asked in a wondering whisper as he stood up cautiously.

(( For all of those that are following the same timeline/weather patterns as the majority, it's now about midnight. To all of the people I'm currently playing with, I will be starting up a new day with my next few posts... with the exception of Tink heart

To everyone else, you are in no way required to stick to the same timeline as others, but if you are desiring to interact with someone, make sure you arrange to line up with them! I only offer up the environmental information for those who want it. I know how easy it is to get an rp stuck on a single, very long day hehe. ))

Tink has found herself in a large kitchen area. Wooden counters line half of the room, adorned with neatly stacked dishes, pots and pans. A lovely hearth is embedded into the wall, accompanied by a couple of roasting spits, a cooking cauldron, and of course, a tea kettle. A few wooden crates, ranging in heights, are pushed up against the walls nearest to the hearth.

The most peculiar aspect of the room is in fact, the inhabitants. A few kittens are on the counter, batting a damp rag along the counter tops. A larger, grey and white housecat is standing in its hind legs, sweeping the stones near the fireplace with a small, straw broom. And lastly, a human girl, about sixteen or so, sits on one of the wooden crates near the kettle, stoking the fire logs. No one seems to have noticed Tink yet.

Thanks to Red's previous effots to clear this part of the forest, the night passes fairly uneventfully for the two girls. The morning light creeping into the cave eventually draws Molly from her slumber. Pale fingers emerge from her bundled state to draw back the cloak she had been using as a blanket and two sleepy eyes peer out from the jumbled mess of red hair. "Stupid bloody morning.." she grumbles softly to herself as she fumbles to become more upright.

After a yawn and a rather pleasant stretch, Molly runs her hands through her hair a few times in a vain attempt to tame the wild, runaway curls. Noticing that Red is still out, Molly finds one of her many pouches and hunts for a particular wrapping. Bare tiptoes creep to where Red lay sleeping, and Molly settles down behind her, securing herself just in case the girl wakes with a start. The had holding the herbs shifts down just below Red's nose, and she crushes them in her fist to release the scent she knows will awaken her companion. Unconsciously, Molly begins to hum softly. It was an old lullaby she used to sing to calm her sisters down. She wasn't sure where she picked it up from, certainly not her parents. Maybe it would help Red as well..

While molly and red had an uneventful night, the same could NOT be said for Pinocchio and company. having found a cave that was inhabited by a mother bear and after running for dear life, they became deeply lost in the forest where they made camp until the morning.

Belle woke and blinked. Her feet were sore and she was very tired. She stretched which helped the soreness she felt. Now that morning had come, it was time to keep moving, no matter what. Although the forest seemed rather quiet, it was still dangerous. Silence was the worst sound to Belle. "Alright. Up. We've got to keep going. Need to find a way out of this damned place." She said to her companions, whom she knew were tired, like her, but that bear was proof that the forest was not safe.

User ImageUser Image

Odette heard Belle saying something about continuing on their journey. To where, she couldn't say. Odette lifted her head out of her left white wing. She was a swan for the day, until night fell again. Luckily she could speak the human language. Her curse had graced her with one positive gift at least. She stretched her wings. "I'm ready when you are."

When pin had see Odette transform, he had been amazed by the beauty of it but decided not to ask, at least until they were wide awake and now that they were... "So you turn into a swan? Is there a certain trigger to it?"

If Odette could she would've smiled solemnly at Pinocchio. "Yes, I do. A curse put upon me long ago. I'm a swan by day, human by night. I want to find the man who did this to me... and kill him." Her curse was the one thing that upset her the most. And vengeance was the only thing that would make her even close to happy again.

"I guess you and me have a little in common," he said smiling sadly, "we both just want to be human." and he trudged on and would say no more about the specific talk when asked about his side, though it should have been obvious.
