Proteus sat there blinking for a few more moments before glancing down at his hooves, "Am I suppose to grow a fin or something?"

Proteus didn't know what gods he'd managed to appease but he wasn't gonna wait to be asked again! He met her lips eagerly. Warm... he thought smiled. So much warmer than I'd expected from a fish...

Naida kissed him back with the same eagerness. She leaned on one hoof and put the other in his mane. His hair was smooth and soft, different from hers, but not at the same time.

Protues pulled back slowly, hesitantly, really not wanting too - but then again, he didn't wanna get iced or splashed or stabbed for taking too long either... He flashed a grin and waited to get her reaction.
