Cassie wiped the smile off her face. "Right." she felt suddenly small, like a child being reprimanded for doing something naughty. "I guess its a good thing that you're the god and not me."

Now it was Cassie's turn to frown. "I don't get how you can think I'm such a good person." she ran her fingers through her hair. her neck was getting a little strained since she had to keep looking up at him. *curses!*

Cassie cringed at 'little girl'. she hung her head. "I don't have the 'little girl' anymore. she grew up, despite my appearence." she said glumly.

Cassie felt a slight warmth come to hercheeks and she knew that it had nothing to do with the wine. "You're the only one who believes that." she brushed his comment aside.

Cassie shrugged her shoulders. "I dunno. I guess I never saw the need to get into sticky relationships with people. I mean, people fight and get into arguments and get their hearts ripped out, metaphorically speaking, and at frst they think that they're in love until it starts to hurt and they realise that they've lost something. The movies try to soften it up and they always hve happy endings but I've see people, watched them and I figured that if it doesn't work for them why would it be anymore pleasing to me."
