Das Steube Xeen took Laurel with him, stepping through the fabric of reality and re-emerging next to Ora. "There is a building that she wishes to investigate. Let us go." He said, offering Ora his hand. Eric turned to Hattie, a look of surprise on his face. "How many and what kind do you want, babe? I've got a few dozen, each able to spread down death in any array of exciting flavors." Ora glanced blinked, breaking her focus and turning to her father. "A building? Sounds nice." She took the offered hand.

Tsukiyomi Morningstar "Nothin' fancy. Simple's fine." She adjusted the pants she was wearing, since they were Eric's they didn't fit too good and sighed. "We just can't seem to catch a break." Her Comm beeped and she answered the Wave to see Halise hunkered down in the engine room. It was a pre-recorded message.
"Hattalia, they've boarded the ship. They've taken Hunter to the Bridge and ripped up my prayer tomes! Sigil is with them, but I- " The message was cut off. After not being quite able to sleep during all the commotion Pen came back out, the fever having broken slightly, though she still toted Jarred's blanket around with her. "What's going on?" She asked, "Is there trouble?"

Hattie turned. "Pen! How ya doin'?" She asked, stuffing her Comm into one of her pockets. "Nothin' too much. Some bratty thief and her battle-tank companion are demanding the surrender of you, me and Eric and they're holding my ship hostage. No big deal." She chuckled a bit, but it was halfhearted.

Pen hugged the blanket around her. "I've been better." She looked at the screen, "no big deal hmm? I lost a ship once, to an obnoxious man. I considered that a very big deal. If you need me to surrender, let me know. I could probably kill a few things in the handover process, sick or not."

"Well..." Hattie began with a sigh. "We'll just see what they have to say and then play on from there. You need to feel better, that's way more important."

Eric returned a few moments later, wearing a loose duster jacket, and a gun vest under it. He handed Hattie the same set of garments.
"The Duster has ceramic and kevlar plates in it, slows a bullet to less-than fatal velocity, and stops subsonic rounds. It also has a small energy field generator that stops beam weapons cold. Not a lot of folks pack slugthrowers, so defense against them is uncommon. I got you a pair of nine mil submachine guns, and one fourty-five caliber revolver. that'll deal with other armor."

Xeen closed his eyes, and wen they emerged from the plane that isn't they were standing infront of the domed building. "Yes, it does look like an observatory."

"Feeling better is a useless bonus if you're dead." Pen said with a slight roll of her eyes, though she pulled the haughty look off a lot less successfully when feeling ill. She glanced at Eric's toys and turned back to Hattie. "Try not to get yourself killed, The munchkin's depression would be nerve-racking.

Hattie chuckled a bit. "I'm sure Eric would get over it. I disappear all the time and he manages." Yet still, her heart jolted at the thought of loosing that short menace.
"Are you sure all this will keep me safe?" She said sarcastically as she pulled on all of the offered garments. She was going to protest and just take a simple handgun, but she knew better at this point. She checked the rounds in all guns and tucked them away. "You sure you're okay, Pen? I don't wanna leave ya if you're gonna be a corpse when we get back."

Eric checked his small army's worth of weapons hidden inside his duster, checking each to see if it was fully loaded one more time, checking his coat to make sure there was plenty of ammo should he need it.
"Yeah, it'll keep you safe. I wear the same get-up all the time. Jarred uses a different rig, but he likes different flavors than I do, so his rig works better for him." As Eric finished, he checked his crossbow, making sure that it was unloaded, as carrying lightly irradiated rebar unprotected was likely a bad idea.

"Lets hurry things up. I don't like my crew in the hands of a crazy woman." She laughed at her statement. "Or rather, someone more crazy than me."
She gave Pen's shoulder a squeeze as she moved to leave the ship, eager to get to saving the day.

Pen smiled, giving Hattie a brief wave. "You and I both know it's not something the little man would easily get over. Don't be silly, Hattie."
Pen pulled the blanket around her and moved back to a chair, the blanket moved up a small bit, showing a small star-shaped bruise on her leg. Pen was too tired to notice, resting her head on her arm.

Das Steube Xeen nodded, taking the lead. "Stay behind me, in case something should go wrong." "You don't need to be so protective." Ora stated simply, though kept behind him as he'd asked.
