Sam winced when Soma pulled his knife out. he looked at the ground. at the blood gushing out of his leg. "She's a human."

"And what if she misses my heart? what if i go crazy from the pain and i hurt her? what are you going to do if that happens?" Sam shouted. "I know that i can't freeze out there. I'd probably make a hotspring before i even felt chilled. I can't rip myself to shreds enough to die and if i get hit by a car or something the most that's going to do is break a bone." Sam sighed, "If she is your friend, then you shouldn't be bringing her into this, since shes a human and i assume that she doesn't know that you're a vampire yet, why would you even want to bring her into this?" he asked him.

"dude, I just met her! You can't count on my humanity to save her when i hardly know her!" he said.

Chloe walked away from the door, she had heard enough. she didn't understand it but she wasn't sure if she wanted to. she laid back on the bed and stared at the ceiling, thinking about it. *Soma wants me to kill him? no, he was using me as bait. he's a vampire? they're kidding right? werewolves and vampires don't exist. but.... i'm sure that if you were one you must know. does that mean that there are others things out there? What is that man-?" Chloe gasped. there was so much blood. it was coming from his neck and kept on gushing, Chloe thought she'd be sick. she could almost smell it. the metallic sweet but sickly smell of blood. and then he came and he put his red lips to the man's neck and-
Chloe blinked. *why is it happening so much?* sweat ran down her face and she could see him looking at her. his eyes were red and full of hatred. he was searching. she thought for her but she wasn't sure. she didn't want to find out she only wanted to get away, to break away from his gaze. she felt like he was reading her mind, and more than that. Chloe moaned and turned on her side. The image was gone, but she could remember it, just couldn't see it anymore.

Sam glared at Soma. so much for helpful. he walked away. "I'm going to clean this up so that she won't freak out." he said.

"Don't bother, why don't you check on your friend." Sam said, turning into the bathroom.

Chloe felt a tear run out of her eye. she wiped it away but it carried her eyeliner with it and it smudged on her face. "crap." she muttered when she remembered that she had the makeup on.

"Sure sure." Sam entered the bathroom he put his leg up o the sink counter and washed it off with water. he took sme soap and scrubbed it it, wincing a the hot water washed it off. he dried his leg off with several papertowels and wrapped it in a bunch of toilet paper. then he limped away and back to the infirmary.

Chloe turned around, trying to wipe the eyeliner off he rface but only managing to smudge it more. "huh, oh, I'm alright. Sorry i look like a mess." she apologized.
