Mine came about from a nick name an ex-manger of mine called me the first time he met me.
I walked into Game Stop wearing a flowing black silk skirt with a slight train, a black poets shirt, a white lace vest with tails. My hair was to my waist so it was pulled up into a half-bun. I had on 10 silver bracelets on each arm, 3 rings on each hand. He smiled and said "And here comes a Gothic Gypsy."
Ever since then, that name stuck with me so I use it as my wiccan name. My style is, as best I can do, victorian gothic or new age gothic. And I am a bit of a gypsy. I hate sitting still for too long. I need to get up and wander around. Even if it means going in the backyard to chase the rabbits from my dad's gardens.
And that's how I got my name. mrgreen

Merry meet! i'm new here. I've been studying Wicca for about two years and have been known as Aurelia (which means light) for just over a year. I'm not sure if its my real wiccan name but it feels right. smile

PhoenixFire. it sorta comes from the first online screenname i chose for myself, PrincessFire2005, which was an AOL name. when we stopped using AOL, i made the PrincessFire part into PF, which is in my current yahoo mail address, and the first semester of my freshman year, i went to a school that was represented by a rising phoenix, and have maintained a loyalty to it. also, a lot of people in yahoo chats would ask what the PF stood for, and at one point in time, the thought PhoenixFire came to mind, but i mostly forgot about it for a while, then, while i was typing up a thread here in the Coven, complaining about my lack of a Wicca name, it came to me. i know, long and convoluted origin, but that's where my Wicc name comes from sweatdrop

well, the goddess and the god chose my wicca name, they just did it by leading me around a bit. if you dreamed of the word fern, then you should probably keep it in mind?

I have no idea what my Wiccan name should be. I've always loved silver but so many people have it. I want something different. But I have NO idea. Can anyone help me figure out a way to find my name?

meditation is a good way to find your Wicca name, but don't count silver out of your name, just because a lot of people have it. i actually don't think i've met anyone in the Coven with silver in their Wicca name, but, again, the best way to find your Wicca name is to meditate, and listen to the goddess and the god

Can anyone help me figure out a way to find my name? One way could be a way mentioned before, numerology. There's a good section on finding your wiccan name with it in Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft. Maybe you should use that. wink

Silver Lm Galdrea Squirrely Scott It may sound odd, but I've been trying to find my name for a long time and I've decided that I will just remain unnamed. the Japanese word for "Nameless" is "Nanashi", if it helps, at all Thats the name of a characture in a story I'm writing sweatdrop I still am yet to find mine however... Correction...I found mine last night for a new moon ritrual..X_X Sina Amena, dont ask, it just came to me as I glanced to me as I looked at my goddess candle. sweatdrop

I've read a little bit about Numerology, and my friend did something with my name, but it still confuses me. Same with this Wiccan Name thing.
