"Hmm." Inuyasha scowled at the noodles, then looked up to the clock. "How long does this take? I'm going to do something else and you can do this."

"That's not fair." Inuyasha grumbled, leaning against the counter, propping his head up on his fists. His brown eyes narrowed at the noodles. "So what's your name, anyway? Rei or 'Miss Lynn'?" He had heard the scrawny kid-- Bakura or something-- call her by the other name.

"Ryou..." Inuyasha said, frowning. "That's his name?" He snorted slightly. "I don't have a last name, but he'd better not be calling me 'Mr. Inuyasha' or anything like that."

"Don't worry about that." The pale-haired teen had returned. He gave Inuyasha a brief, critical look. Ryou had removed his crumpled jacket, until the clothes arrived, and now wore only the pants of his school uniform and the white shirt. He felt uncomfortable with only that on, because he really didn't like it. Yugi and the others would unbutton the jacket but he always liked buttoning it to his throat. He gave Inuyasha a small smile. "I would never call you Mr. Inuyasha."
Inuyasha scowled at the boy. "Well, good. It's not like I'd call you Mr. Ryou or anything." He wondered how they had gotten on the discussion of names.
"Just Bakura." Ryou said through almost gritted teeth. He was finding it harder and harder to remain polite in this infuriating man's presence. "Ryou is my first name, Bakura is my last. No 'miister' needs to be added, to either name."

"Yay!" Inuyasha snatched the bowl away, and in the process managed to splash some of the hot broth on himself. He yelped but managed to keep a hold of the ramen. He set it down on the counter, looking around. "No utensils? It's okay, I can use my fingers." He would much prefer to use his hands.

Inuyasha scowled at the object in question. He preferred hands over utensils, and when he needed to use them, he liked chopsticks more than these... forks. "Tch." He stabbed at the noodles and tried to wind them around the tines.

Ryou was watching Inuyasha eat. It was like a train wreck; you didn't want to watch but you couldn't turn away. He hadn't realized he had begun to edge away from the man, but soon found himself bumping against the kitchen wall, as far away from Inuyasha as he could get.
