"The living dead are in Ulric's employ. Besides, most fertilizer is dead fish and other things, also horse manure, but I tend to use cleaner methods for my garden. the ground is not fertile at all. the entire garden is simply dirt from my homeland. plus I always lock up the gate at night..." Dr. Gordon replied, smiling and emptying the can over a healthy group of radishes before turning around, "Well, it's a cold morning, I have a kettle on for tea. Sadly, I only have Peppermint, Green and Earl Grey..." He opened the door to his castle for his visitor.
(Gordon isn't at all that hostile... Ulric, on the other hand...)

Grey wandered into the kitchen. He still wanted find out about that man he saw in the garden, but it could wait until he found breakfast couldn't it?

As the sun rose, Lilium transformed into her slightly more human looking form. A curvacious woman with wolf ears and scantelous clothing. Amongst other citizens, she was easily pointed out. But she liked it that way. She had too much pride to ever wish to look like one of them. During the day light hours, Lilium walked around the village, taking joy of the looks on the villagers faces. Some said fear, others said hate and resentment. None of it mattered to her. She strolled around the city streets merrily, humming a tune as she passed random food carts and taking what she pleased.

~Fortune "Ah - I see." Nicholas said, nodding, before stepping inside. The mercenary looked around - a bit lost, quite frankly. "This building is - much smaller-looking from the outside. I'll just, ah, follow you." ((Short post - just filler to get to the kitchen. Sorry >< ))

"Yes well, I get that from many of my patients." Dr. Gordon led Fortune down a very modern and clinical-styled interior. In fact, it was almost a hospital. after he opened a glass door to a more home-like setting, light blue wallpaper and a cherrywood table on an area rug that appeared to have an ocean theme. overlooking the room was a kitchen, almost entirely white, save the polished black handles and blue china dishes.
"As you can plainly see, I've made myself at home, much like the one in my homeland. the style I believe is mimicked quite well..." He walked into the kitchen, past a staircase to the upper floors of the castle (which was lit by a window. It leads to the bedrooms.) and a locked iron door, which displayed a large anchor engraving on it.
Dr. Len twisted a knob on his stove, and flames appeared below the kettle. The doctor smiled, "This gas stove is one of the best things I have. I have a gas supply under the castle, you see, and as long as my pilot light burns, I have a source of heat that never uses any wood. The man who invented this was a genius!"
(long interior description. long story short, Gordon has a nice house. He believes interior decor is important... though that could be part of his insanity...)

((Dr. Len! rofl !!!)) ~Fortune Nicholas followed the doctor into his kitchen, nodding at the display of firepower (lol) and sitting himself down in a chair. He did take time to admire the decor. "That he was, that he was," he replied in agreement. The mayor did not have one of those. "So, Dr. Gordon, - and my name is Nicholas, Nicholas Fortune, by the way - what type of work do you do here? I realize you're a doctor... but what is the extent of your more advanced sciences? If you don't mind my prying, of course."

With a yawn, Grey walked into the kitchen. Blinking in surprise he noticed the doctor and the stranger he'd seen in the garden.

Luna quickly had gone out of the pool, and went home, all wet in her bed. Luna changed into her warm pajamas, and slept in her bed. She slept in a bed, unlike others because she was sitll part human, and wanted to act as human like as she could, so if anyone came, they would believe that she was a human. Luna fell asleep quickly, sadly having no dream.

Bella saw her master approaching and ran to his side so she could walk next to him for a brief while. "All the skeletons are working to build each other up once again, master Ulric. Is there anything else you'd like me to do, Sir?" Her eyes sparkled with pure admiration for the man she was speaking with. She often told herself that if Ulric told her to jump off of the nearest bridge, she most likely would, knowing that he would have a good reason in telling her to do so.

Ulric nodded and smiled, "Good work, my dear. We must prepare for a guest now, however. Leave the skeletons to work. I believe the entry hall is quite a mess... After he visits, I shall then instruct you in a bit more of the arcane... I know that last week seemed all to short."
---
(oops... the lost in space char just popped into my head! it's gordon!)
Gordon nodded, "Not at all, I'm glad to have someone interested in my line of work... I am involved in finding a biological key to immortality, as well as reviving those lost to us... Medically and humanely, of course. Unfortunately, my experimentation has been less than satisfying... I merely end up with animated husks that move through spasms of electricity. I've recently made a serum to regenerate more muscle matter, but that still only delays the rotting... In essence, all I created were mindless zombies." Dr. Gordon sighed, "but the medicine I create here from that research is beneficial to all my patients that are alive... I'd say I've saved many lives in the village, mostly through immunization, but the muscle serum has in fact cured several of the elderly of muscle degeneration, a common ailment here amongst farming families."
He looked up the stairs, "Ah! Grey! Come on down and meet Mr. Fortune. He seems genuinely interested in our work! not like those villagers who dismiss it as witchcraft!"

Bella nodded and smiled before trotting off to the entry hall. As her master said, it wasn't exactly the picture of perfection. Several spellbooks were laying about and dust had collected in several areas. Sighing, she got to work collecting the many books strewn about.
