Alyx looked a little more comfortable. "Well..." she said to Cado, then climbed out, taking the keys with her. She wasn't as stupid as the former owner.
The door creaked open slowly. A young boy, maybe ten, peeked up at Marcus, a little shyly. "Hi," he said simply. "Can I help you?"

"Hold up, better idea," Cado interjected quietly to Gabriel. "First we check if he's home and responding. Then we act suspiciously. For now, we should act like GM agents setting up a perimeter that keeps people out instead of in."

"Soooo, we do the same thing, only under the cover of a GM agent."

Shae smiled disarmingly at the boy. "Hey there bud. I need to talk to your dad. Is he home?"

"More or less," Cado answered, nodding. "But it'll be awfully suspicious if we look like we're trying to enter his house. I mean, we're not exactly subtle right now."

"Sounds like," Alyx admitted. She gestured to Cado, then to the fence, and started moving decisively, like she belonged. One hand rested on the left side of her chest, right about where the Five-seveN was stowed. It wasn't precisely the weapon she would expect a GM agent to use, but it would have to do.
Once Cado and Alyx went through, they found themselves in a little tropical paradise, without the heat. Palm trees that had been concealed behind the house before became apparent. Tropical bushes and a swimming pool with a hot tub attached both became apparent. Various water features adorned it, and in the end, it felt altogether too much like stepping into the jungle.

"No, he isn't, but my mom is," the boy told him, then turned back. "Mom! Someone to see you!"
Through the crack in the door (which the boy had widened in opening it) Marcus had a front-row seat to something that he didn't like as much. A girl, maybe fifteen, appearing as Hispanic as the boy, appeared, dressed and with hair wet as though she had just gotten out of the shower. She was about to just keep moving when she looked at Marcus again and froze. If Marcus had been able to speak Spanish, he could've followed this conversation:
"Jose, get away from the door." "Why?" "He's not safe. He's armed." Obviously, she had dealt with such before. She was shifting slightly, moving towards the corner where she could hide. The boy confusedly tilted his head, but began to comply. "Are you sure? He seems nice." "If he were carrying a gun, he would've announced it. The GM agents always do." "Okay..."
To Marcus, in English, he spoke. "I'm sorry, I don't think she's here after all..." He began to close the door.

"I never said force an entry, besides, it looks like Shae's already on it." he whispered to Cado.

"Nononono," he said soothingly, pulling one of his revolvers out slowly. "I'm with GM. It's important that I talk with one of your parents."

"Oh," the girl said. "I'm sorry. I thought..." She shook her head. "Mother, there is someone to see you," she called, then left to change from wearing a towel.
In a moment, a remarkably attractive woman, unsurprisingly similar to her children, appeared at the door. On her thigh was a 1911. "So, what's this about?" she said immediately. She sounded more Hispanic then her children, who definitely sounded American. Perhaps she lived in Spain originally.

Cado asked himself whether he wanted to set a charge on the glass to watch it all shatter, but managed to control himself.

Shae's eyebrows shot up in obvious admiration of her form. "Ma'am. GM has sent myself and some comrades to set up a perimeter. We have reports that Bullfrog may be making an attempt on your husband's life." He gestured towards the back of the house. "They're back there setting up now. May I come in, ma'am?"

Gabriel came up to Shae's side, "Good day, ma'am." he said, giving a slight wave before stand rather formal like, his hands folded behind his back, "We assure you, it's for both you and your husband's safety."

She sighed heavily, shaking her head. "I knew this would come," she sighed, gesturing him in. Their house was as beautifully decorated inside as outside; paintings that looked expensive and original lined the walls, marble covered the floors, and expensive-looking wood covered most of the walls. They moved into a sort of sitting room, where she indicated that Marcus should sit down. "He's out right now. He got a call just half a minute before you arrived. Some theft, they're attributing it to someone smooth. He wanted to see, I'm not sure why, but he got awfully excited about it," she explained. It was plain to see at least part of the motivation Daley had had for marrying this woman; not only was she immensely physically attractive, but even in speaking, in natural movement, she came across rather coquettishly, almost too much so for a married woman. She shook her head. "You should send whoever you've brought that way. Don't bother leaving anyone here," she recommended.

Shae nodded. "Agent Rawley," he said, looking to Gabriel. "Head to the back and deliver the news to the other men. Send them to go after Mr. Daley. You will lead their team. I will remain here to defend the house, in case the agents should show up." He looked up at the woman. "Is that acceptable, ma'am?"

She nodded. "How close do you think they are?" she asked, a little shakily. "I... please tell me you have experience. I haven't heard of you before," she murmured, a little distrustfully.
