Batgirl couldn't stop Penguin in time to find out more so she turned her attention to the two figures in front of her. "I'm... not really a Chinese food sort of person..." She said in a low voice, trying to be as menacing as she could be. The red guy "And I'm not... a little girl." She added with a glare from behind her mask.

"Of course you're not," Deadpool said obligingly, "You're a big girl now! Who can fight crime all by herself? You can! " Despite his banter, he couldn't help feeling a little nervous. What, exactly, was the Joker planning? Normally, he wouldn't have cared, particularly, but... well, he didn't want to hurt this girl. Unless he was getting paid for it, of course, but that was a whole different ball of wax. Well, there was nothing to do but wait and see.

"Hmmm... That's too bad, Batgirlie. If you were a little girl, then you wouldn't have to put up with Deadpool here hitting on you! But now we know you're mature enough to handle it! Heh heh heh heh heh..." He began looking around when he thought about Deadpool mentioning her being by herself. "Wait... ARE you by yourself? Batsy isn't here?" He sounded almost disappointed at this.

Batgirl didn't want to admit that she was outnumbered but reluctantly she nodded slowly before she could stop herself. She couldn't figure out why Joker hadn't tried to posion her or shoot her yet, she just stood there silently, muscles tensed in case that Joker decided against making fun of her. She looked to the red guy and added his name to her mind. Deadpool. Quickly she turned her attention back to the Joker.

Joker looked really upset by this news. "Damn... I was so hoping that I would get a chance at him tonight. Trying to kill him is so much fun..." He sighed a little bit, the changed the topic, hoping it would get his mind off of it.
"So, Deadpool, how'd you get that name?"

Internally, Deadpool allowed himself a little sigh of relief; the Joker didn't seem to be particularly interested in the girl at all, just her connection to this 'Batsy' character. "The Dead Pool was a game in one of the places I used to live," he said lightly, "We placed bets on which one of us would die next." He shrugged. "I won, obviously." He frowned. "I still say that we get some food. I'm freaking starving. You," he added to Batgirl, "Are not invited anymore."

Batgirl blinked in confusion, these two were too much alike. Though she was glad Joker didn't care about blasting her brains in as much as he did about blasting Batman's. She turned to Deadpool and sighed "You two... are such a headache any way... I don't think I could sit a meal with either of you." She said shaking her head and turning around to leave, she still needed to figure out what was going on.

"Well, if she's not invited anymore, can we kill her, then go eat? I'm hungry too, but I DO love a good murder before sitting down to some delicious Chinese." He turned to her and said, "If I DO kill you, I want you to know that it's not personal. I just have this thing with killing Batsy's sidekicks. Why, look at Robin! He goes through them like a sick man goes through tissues! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Looking back to Deadpool, he added, "If we kill her, I buy. If not, it's on you."

They couldn't see it but Batgirl's eyes widened in horror. She backed away and studied the pair carefully, trying to read their body language. She stood her ground and readied herself for an attack.

Deadpool shrugged, as though it were not a very big deal. And it wasn't, he reminded himself. Killing without getting paid was a waste. "I'll buy. Waaay to starved to be chasing after little girls in bat-themed underwear. Later though..." he winked at the girl, and then started walking away, expecting that the Joker would follow. "That's another story. So do you actually know any good Chinese places in... Uh..." There was a long pause. "This place?"
((Ugh. Math class. Back at 7:20pm Mt time. Laters!))

"You got lucky, kiddo. I'll be seeing you, and the rest of the Bat Brigade, later," he said to Batgirl. He turned back to Deadpool and said, "I DO know this one place here in Metropolis, but I know a better one in Gotham. Take your pick while I call my ride." He whistled loudly into the open air, and suddenly a purple convertible was seen tearing down the road with the roof down. It stopped on a dime right beside the two of them. A woman in a red and black costume was behind the wheel.
She turned to Joker and said, "You called, Mistah J?"
"Yes, Harley, but I believe our guest here needs to decide where he wants Chinese from. Deadpool, you figure it out yet?"
(( I'll be gone by then. We'll continue this tomorrow. I've always wanted to see how Joker would act around Deadpool... mrgreen ))

While the two villains were distracted Batgirl released a line, and got out of there before he changed his mind. The two seemed like a pretty dangerous combination and she figured that she'd run into the pair again, soon. The Joker mentioned Chinese places... she could tail them or just go and find Supergirl and figure out what the heck was going on with Gotham and Metropolis. Since Supergirl wasn't in sight she decided to go with the latter, it'd be better then sitting around waiting for answers. Besides the Deadpool guy didn't exactly fit in with the usual heros and villai Batgirl landed on a rooftop far away from the pair and pulled out a pair of binoculars. Got you. She thought trimuphantly, it was going to be a fun night.

//ooc: Yay! Activity! // As quickly as her darkness spreads, it apparently wasn't quick enough to find where the men went to. The clown's van was empty, and there were nothing more than some simple thugs hanging around. They were no obstacle to take care of. The other two were no where to be found either. She felt the glider head out, but it was gone before she could arrive at it's location. She retracted her darkness and stood on the roof of a building looking out onto the streets, feeling a bit dissapointed. Well, she'd calmed down at least. Wouldn't be in a fighting mood the rest of the day. She let out a deep sigh and pulled her hair back out of her face, then let it fall back down. Suppose it was time try and get those two brats home now. She looked down at the ground and let herself sink into her own shadow. A spine chilling grin made it's way across the boney reaper's face as the girl's blood flowed into his scythe. From the taste of it, human. From the feel of it, power. Not the same kind of power that the people on his planet had, this seemed to truely be in the blood. Wonderful. He could fully use power he obtained here. He was a bit surprised to see the girl vaporize, and wondered briefly if it was just a result of her powers. No matter....there was one more. His cloak uncoiled the air and fell back to the roof. He slowly turned his head to the other child and gave her a malicious smile. His attention was quickly drawn away by a voice from above them. The blade still protruding from his cloak retracted and dissapeared. He stared up at her for a moment, then glanced back down at the child. This woman definately had powers as well, but she was too far away for him to attack safely. He'd have to be satisfied with his small kill for now. "Of course..." he replied softly. At least as soft a tone as his raspy demonic voice could provide. "I have what I need for now."

Kara's eyes widened at the unexpected cooperation, then narrowed in to furious slits. No freaking way was he getting off that easily. She was sure about the wrongness, now, and the tone of his voice was not apologetic, whatever he was saying. He has what he needs... for now...? He had done something horrible, and while Kara could not guess what it was, she could make sure than he never did anything else ever again, horrible or otherwise.
She shot forward at super-speed, scooping up the small child and depositing her some three blocks away. Then she shot back to her original position in the air, with one major difference; she was holding a mini-van like a baseball bat, her hands on either side of the bumper. "Oh, no," she said sweetly, "I think you've definitely forgotten something." With that, she threw the vehicle down at him.
((I apologize if getting... Rosie?.. out of the way was Godmoding. Figured it wouldn't be a problem.))

The Reaper didn't flinch as the woman shot down and took the child away. He turned his head slightly to watch her fly off, then turned his attention away. She didn't trust him, not that he was surprised at all. He heard her voice again and looked up to find that she had returned. With not a child, but a vehicle. And holding it as easily as a toy. The van suddenly shot towards him, seemingly smashing him into the roof. A few seconds passed before a trickle of fire began to snake up the side of the van from the roof. A dark cackle echoed out as the flames soon engulfed the van. The reaper slowly rose up from the flames and looked up at the girl with a thrilled grin. "Fantastic! I haven't been here more than an hour and already I am enjoying this world. Unfortunately I'll take more than a bit of metal to destroy a Reaper, my dear." he said grinning.//Not that much of a problem, I don't think there's much she could have done. wink //
