Sophitia watched as Vandal walked a ways away. She felt a bit vunerable, but nothing she couldn't handle. She took her eyes away for a moment, looking around the East side city. It seemed the same as the West side just.....darker? Definitley. As she waitied patiently, she felt a tap on her shoulder and jumped. "Sorry," the ghost girl said. "Thought you might miss me!" Karin always had bad timing....

Vandle looked back, and winked. He would get the creepy vampire. No one would be hurt.

Sophitia smiled back. She felt at ease with Vandal with her. Unfortunately, Karin caught on. "OOOOO! You like him!" She was only there a few seconds and already she was annoying.
Sophitia blushed, but folded her arms. "Who asked you, Karin! Where have you been anyways?"
Karin looked as though she was in thought. "Well, I was following this powerful mage, the cute one. And then I saw a strange witch lady go to the police. It seems you've been seen leaving with Vandal."
Sophitia's heart sank. "Uh oh...."

Sophitia watched Vandal look around for the other vampire. She knew he was close. She hoped Vandal wouldn't need her help. "Can you see the other vampire, Karin?"
The ghost girl shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I can try. Aren't you going to tell your boyfriend the witches are looking for you?"
Sophitia frowned. "No, I don't wanna worry him. If anything happens, I'll take care of it. Now, go help Vandal." She watched the ghost girl float away. "And he's not my boyfriend!" She whispered forcefully at her.

Sally shrugged her black trenchcoat on, pulling her long white hair out of the collar so it could hang down her back. She tucked her badge into the inside pocket and grimaced when her boss stepped up next to her.
"Hawkins, make sure you're careful over there," he said.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm always careful, aren't I?" she asked.
"No, you're not...but I suppose you're the best for this job since you're not all that concerned about border security. At least I don't have to worry about you trying to purge the East Side of all the vamps at once," the man rubbed his head. "I don't want to have to send a team to bring your body back, Hawkins. Don't die, and try not to bring too much attention to yourself."
Sally grabbed her staff from where it was leaning on the wall and opened the door. "I'll do my best, boss," she replied, saluting ironically as she left.

I've been spotted, Brodix thought to himself as he noticed the girl point. Still curious as to whether this girl was charmed, or simply clueless as to her surroundings.... or something else entirely.
"Hello?" He heard the vampire. He was close by. Stepping out of the shadows, Brodix stood in the open. "So.... I see I've attracted some attention." Not sure of the intentions of the two, he kept his distance from the vampire. The girl stood alone, but seemed to be talking to someone.... Brodix could smell something, but was unsure of what it was.... Death, perhaps.... Lingering in the air.... His gaze returning to the vampire, he awaited a response.

A fake smile parted the Brodix's lips. "So, I see part of your darkness is mind-reading. Is dragging young human girls around part of your prowess as well?" The fake smile was gone as quickly as it had arrived. Not waiting for a response, he continued. "I'm no threat." His thoughts went to the flask in his pocket and its limited contents. "However, how long do you think you can protect her here? Not just from others like us, but also when the proper authorities arrive.... Do you think you could handle them yourselves?"

"Human? No, she is not. Far from. I suggest you step-away before the authorities come after me for throwing you off that bridge. I can protect her fine, I have so far for the past day, sir!" He spat at out the last syllable with venom. He was getting angry, no-one called him a prowler.

Laughing now, Brodix held up one hand in front of himself. "Aren't you the jumpy one. So quick tempered. I hope the girl doesn't encite your rage, then she'll be needing protection from you as well." Turning his back to the vampire. "If you still wish to throw me from the bridge, that is your matter...."

"Yes. Yes. More threats.... You dull me." Tired of listening to the idle banter this vampire keeps spewing forth, Brodix began to walk away. "Perhaps you should return to your lady...." He sniffed the air. The smell of death was definitely close by now.... A ghost perhaps.... Ignoring it, he contined to walk down the street.

Karin floated back quickly. "I think the other vampire knew I went over there!" Sophitia let out a small gasp.
"Maybe he's more powerful then we thought..." She watched Vandal with worried eyes...

Vandle spat out a final insult and walked over to Sophitia. "Everything is alright, for now. What to do next?" If he let her see the worry, than she would leave.
