Gina passed the pond she was at before. she stared at the pond for the moment, but realized =that if anything or anyone were following her, then she would have to keep on moving. she walked past the pond, in a bit of a quick paste. she then felt a large pain in her stomach. she stopped, and sat down on the ground, as she had to check her wound. she was far from the village, so she thought it would be just fine. she looked at the cut on her stomach and saw it had stopped bleeding, but ony because it was taking time healing itself. it was going to hurt for a while, if that were the case then. she sighed and looked at the moon. the moon shimmered its reflection in her eyes and she frowned. she didnt want to leave like that. she really didnt. she knew she had to though. she thought it would e better fr everyone.

November turned to look over at him slightly and tossed her head to one side. "What makes you think I was going to ask what he did? Besides I have a pretty good guess myself." She turned her head away from him and looked over to the door.

"You saw them too didn't you? Those horrible creatures." She sighed and laughed a little to herself. "Nevermind, I guess I shouldn't call them that. I suppose I should be pitying them, but I was never good with that." While he looked away she unzipped her shirt and took a look at her wound. There was blood where the bandage was but it didn't feel like it was still open. She shook her head and zipped it back up before slipping off the bed.

"Besides, it's just a punishment. My whole life has been that way, so I'm used to it. I'll be fine as long as I get to kill him." She looked at the stuff on the table and stared going through it. She pulled out a small sack with a few gold coins. It wasn't enough to buy another horse so she supposed she was going to have to go on foot.

"And what about you half breed? what are you going to do?"

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Raziel had left his horse back halfway. He had flown the rest of the way in bat form. Now, he was in his normal form, he had seen Mizu and Gina fighting halfway through. That stupid little vampire was absolutly useless and obviously didn't know how to do things right. Still, Raziel knew he couldn't enter the town yet. He sensed his huntress, but also another. If he was caught, there would go his plans. So for now, he let Gina run while he took refuge in a little cave.

Gina stood on her feet. she was really confused about where to go. she knew she could lure people into the village, casuing trouble, but then she remembered D and the huntress. they were good fighters, especially D, and she could see that he could kill anyone easily. she then wondered if they would send anyone to find her. the old man had left unusually easy, and she wondered if he would plan to send someone to find her. she suddenly yelled as she felt a rush of pain through her stomach. she gripped it hard, the small amounts of blood on her hands now. damn you, Mizu, she thought as she breathed heavily. damn you and everyone else that is causing this..... damn me too. she lowered her head, curling in pain, the pain of her stomach, and the pain of reality that she is helping this war, no matter if she tries not to.

"Is that what you think?" D said as more of a thought to himself it seemed. "They had no choice in what was done to them. No one deserved it, not even you despite what you think. Things can always change" D said his blue eyes meeting the girls for a few moments.

D was silent for a moment as he looked to the girl. Did she have to be so disrespectful and keep calling him halfbreed like that? "Im not sure yet." D said to the girl before he made his way to the bedroom door. "You seem fine enough now. I advise you not seek revenge on him, but i cant stop you. Id be careful of the full moon as well." D said before he opened the door and left the bedroom.

The girl was obviously well enough to go it alone, despite any warning D gave the girl. D made his way out of the house, and slipped through the front door without bidding anyone goodbye. But that was just the sort of person D was...

D located his steed in the stable the boy had housed it in. It would take him a minute two to ready his horse, before he could mount it and ride off to continue on his mission.

Eve rode her horse slowly through the forest. She watched everything around her as if she expected something to jump out at her. In truth she had made no enemies yet but it was hard to when no one would give her any work. She sighed and flipped a lock of platnum blonde hair out of her face. Her horse whinnied as if to reply to her disappointment. She smiled and patted her friend's neck. She hadn't been a hunter for long but if she didn't get ant work soon she was going to have to go back to working at farms. She didn't really want to but she had to eat. Her stomach growled and she made a face. Time to go hunting.

She growled and ran after D, shouting after him as he left for his horse. "I never said that! You didn't listen to me all the way. Maybe you should clean the cob webs from your ears! And what the hell do you mean about the moonlight!" She growled and ran back inside, quickly she grabbed her stuff and attached it to her person before running out after him as he headed out of the village, pushing past the old man who just sighed.

"We aren't done yet! I've got questions and I want some freaking answers!!" She didn't mean to be rude, but couldn't help it. She had never developed any sort of skill that would allow her to be nice to another individual for long.

(Little mini timeskip, I hope no one minds and if you do, just let me know.)

Raziel slipped into the town the next night, he was sure the huntress and the hunter were far enough away now, and Gina was no where to be found. But that was alright, tracking her down wouldn't be to hard. With his hands in his pocket, Raziel looked around the town carefully. He moved silently to the old man's home and peeked inside to see his grandson and the small boy Gina knew sleeping peacefully in the bed. Such sweet faces they had, but not for long. He would be sure to paint the town red, they all had to die for betraying him.

D halted his horse and spun it around so fast his cape and hair took a moment to catch up. The horse snorted at the woman who had run after its master when just a few moments ago she clearly didnt want to have anything to do with the youth. D looked at the girl silently, a cold and dark aura eminating from him like mist creeping along the ground.

"A moment ago you didnt care for my answer or my help." D said in his usual emotionless tone of voice as he sat atop his horse. "For someone whose so headstrong on heading down a path of revenge you do have alot of questions." There was no malice in his voice, or mockery, but if they had been given by anyone else the youths statements would have been a slap int he face to her rudeness towards him.

D went silent after this, after all he did have alot of patience, even if a small part of him- that never showed its face to the world- wanted to ring the girls neck for her rudeness. "What are they?" D asked after a bit of silence.

((doesnt bother me.. to sick to care. Just let us catch up then))

(Awe! I'm sorry >.< I hope you feel better soon)

November stopped suddenly and looked up at him. She got the point, he didn't have to use any emotions to let her know he was ticked off at her. She sighed and walked up closer to the horse and the youth that sat on it.
"Well first off, you're going after him to right? I know you're a strong person, but dealing with so many of those expierments was a pain to me. I'm sure I would have died if it wasn't for Raziel and his little serum. So just let me come with you. I know you don't care for me and I really can't blame you, but I can promise to be of help."

She reached into her sack and started fishing around for something. After a few moments of searching she pulled out her little bag of gold and added some old rings to it before holding it up to him. "I also know that no one gets a free ride. I can't utter a word of thanks to you because I've never done it before, so why don't I just pay you for what you did earlier. Even though I am still confounded as to why you would do such a thing, they say that one good deed deserves another..or atleast payment." She wasn't going to accept no for an answer.

"Look, I think we should start with Oren. Another vampire lived there doesn't he? And Raziel headed off in that direction when you came and so graciously picked me up." She just couldn't figure out why anyone would help her. Even if the answer stared her right in the face, she had been raised to believe that every good deed came with a horrible price. It was probably the reason why she couldn't like him in the slightest. Granted, she admired him alot, but she feared any sort of feeling besides her own hate.

"Might as well try it, it couldn't hurt to loose. On the way, if you feel like talking, you can tell me what you think he did to me." She gave him a sly smile and started ahead of him abit. "Perhaps you can even tell me about yourself. I do so hate being the one in the spotlight. I can't hide."

"I didnt think it was that strange for someone to help out another in need." D commented lightly, after all most men, hunters or no would help a damsel in distress, at least those with good intentions.

Ds steed followed after the girl for a few steps before they were side by side. "If you come with me and things get dangerous i wont protect you." D said plainly, before he offered his pale hand to the girl.

"Keep your payment for now." D said to her but he never planned on taking her money. Once the girl was securly on the steed, D lashed the reins and headed off in the direction of the village of Oren.

Ds horse raced over the terrian at an abnormally fast pace, but it felt no different than a full gallop for the riders it carried. The ride itself was strangely smooth, it was as if the horse was gliding over the dirt, grass and stone. D went silent again, something that seemed to be the norm with the youth.

((yeah im trying, and i should be in bed but i cant sleep so ill post for a bit if your up for it.))

((Sure, just don't overdo it.))

November turned to look at him. "I am not a damsel. They are pure, and sweet. I'm a murderer, I kill for a living, and I have been impure since I was young. Besides, everytime I accepted help, I've always ended up worse off than I would have if I had just done it on my own. And yet here I am, taking a chance with someone who is devoid of all feelings." She turned to him fully and grabbed his hand.

"Or atleast that's what he seems to want to think. The fact is that your hiding them. You're probably more afraid of your emotions than anyone else. The reason you stay quiet suggests that you've lost something very close to you." She didn't hold onto him, but gripped the saddle itself. She would have felt awkward had she wrapped her arms around his waist. She tossed her head to one side, "I wouldn't bother you with my life. There are others out there more deserving than I. Besides that, a hunter knows that every time they go into battle, they may not come out alive."

As they rose on, November silently slipped the bag into one of his saddle bags. She wasn't going to keep it, she felt no need for it. She looked out over the terrain, as if in a daze and kept quiet. She had already been enough of a bother to him, she wasn't going to push her luck anymore. She just thought of what had happened back then, and spent her time trying to figure out the man infront of her.

"So, what exactly do you think he did? Perhaps I can atleast try to prepare for it. And how come the water seemed to calm me down?"

D let the girl think what she wanted to, though for all she knew she could be dead on in her speculation about the Youth. Then again D was one complicated being.

"You stated that he bit you, correct?D said as he turned his head slightly towards the girl. "If my assumptions are right then what he priked you with was a serum that would turn you into a wereanimal. And his bite makes you part vampire. Normmaly the two do not exist within the same being, but somethingin that serum must be binding the two together." D said plainly, like a teacher giving a lecture.

"The water helped you because it wasnt just water. I slipped in a blood plasma caspsul before giving it to you. You drank blood, not water and thats why it helped." D said honestly.

((i wont. Tell me if his assumptions right im prety sure thts what i read earlier when the nobles were talking.))

((Good job! ))

She nodded behind him and listened to what he had to say without interuption. She didn't like what he had to say, but she was going to have to deal with it. She looked down and turned her head to the side as she thought again. Why her? She knew Raziel from when she was a child, briefly, but he had made it known earlier to her that he was the one that killed everyone but a select few in her town.

"I don't understand why he would go to such lengths. That sounds like an odd but pretty powerful combination." She kept quiet about the past, he didn't need to hear anything like that. Besides, it wasn't as if the two of them were friends in the slightest bit.

"Well then, it looks like in the near future, we'll probably end up crossing again in a fight to the death.." She didn't like the thought, but it was very likely. "I can't garuntee what I'll be like if I change. It was hard enough just trying to keep a handle on things. My body felt as if it where burning from the inside out. It was driving me crazy."

"You knew him?" D inquired, not missing the girls quiet statement. D didnt need a full answer, a simple yes would suffice for the youth. But before she could say anything D addressed her other concerns.

"Its a very likely possibility, but there are other ways to live your life, regardless of the blood that runs through your veins. It will take time and discipline to control, its not easy." D said knowing all to well it was true, however he failed to mention that eventually even his bloodlust would take the upper hand and rule him one day.

"Whats your name?" D asked after a moment or two, they never did properly introduce themselves to one another, but then again both were hunters and didnt usually like idle chitchat. So the fact that the youth was inquiring about the girl herself was a strange phenomenon indeed.

((im off to bed im gonna try to get some rest. ngiht))
PostPosted: Fri Oct 03, 2008 9:50 pm

"Well, kind of. All I know for sure is he is part of the reason my town was destroyed. He only left a few of us alive which was strange. As you well know, vampires try not to leave anyone alive. But all the others did die off. They were killed shortly after they had escaped. It looked like the zombies had made their way outside, followed them." She didn't understand why herself.

November looked over to D and sighed as he spoke. It certinly was going to be difficult. "But I had such a hard time just trying to keep from going insane. I probably wouldn't have made it if you hadn't given me that little pill. Besides, I wouldn't know where to begin with training."

She looked over to him and rose a brow when he asked her name. It took her a moment to remember that they had never exchanged names. Then again, she couldn't remember a time when she had told anyone her name. "My name is November Summers, since we are on the subject, what's your name."

"D." D said plainly, though most who would hear that name would shake in their boots if they had so much as heard a rumor about the youth in black. D didnt know how to answer the girl. He had gained control of his bloodlust through hard training and sheer will power at times. He had seen enough deaths at the hands of Nobles and knew that he didnt want to head down that path. Though he also knew that one day his control over his other half would break and when that day came he would be the hunted one.

"It just takes time and will power." D said simply after a moment. "I cant really tell you where to start, but getting some of the capsules will help. There's no easy way but it is possible." D said to the girl, a gentler tone in his voice, after all he understood her plight better than anyone.
