Mizu looked up from her prodded fingers. She saw Captain Tansen in the doorway. She sprang up, and ran over to thew door, and gave him a flying bear hug. Her feet dangled below her, as she had her arms wrapped around his neck. She was only slightly shorter than him. She let go, and fell to the floor.

"I had been wondering where everyone went! I'm so glad you're back. I haven't seen anyone around here." She smiled up at him, and moved out of the doorway to allow him inside.

Walking in after him, she stopped as he was hugged suddenly. As Tansen introduced her to the hugging girl, Yumi nodded, and said, "Hi, guess we're working together for now." She didn't want to get to know the shinigami that much, just get this all over with.

As Tansen stepped through the gate, a long sigh could be heard comming from behind Mizu and Yumi. Asuma, stepping out of the shadow cast on the wall by a large chair, had a blank look on his face, as he stared at where Tansen had left. "Mizu. I need you to tell the others that our little match has to be postponed. I'll be back as soon as I can. Tell Mock that since he's the highest ranking officer here, that he's in charge." Drawing his zanpaktou, Asuma stabbed it into the air in front of him, opening a senkai gate to Seireitei. Before he started walking, though, he looked over to Mizu. "And tell Mock...that if he screws up, I'll kill him. A word from his sensei." Walking through the senkai gate, Asuma disappeared from sight, as the gate closed.

Razil dashed in through the door, a light sweat on his forehead from the run, he was smiling from ear to ear.
"I have returned! And I was able to convince the Vaizards to join us...partially at least." He looked slightly sheepish at Asuma. "They won't join unless they want to, but Jan is definitely in, I don't know if Feiy will or not, and Drift just ignored me...they don't trust me very much, I can't predict what they will be like." Razil grimaced at the memory. Were all Vaizards that stand-offish? His face brightened unexpectedly. "But, we have their ballot, and we can expect some help." He noticed Yumi standing in the room "And I see that the Quincys decided to lend a hand as well!" He looked at her appraisingly, walking over to her with an outstretched hand. "Razil Masamune, 1st Squad, 10th Seat. Nice to meet you!" he said cheerfully, he was just glad to be alive at this point...

Screams and sounds of calamity arose in the distance. Razil looked out the door and saw smoke coming from the city, as well as a massive army of hollows, the more powerful ones gliding over the lesser, more animalistic ones.
They were tracking him and his fellow Shinigami.

"And so it begins..." Razil murmured, jogging back into the mansion to relay the news to everyone.
"Hey, we've got company." he said, arriving at the group and motioning outside with his left arm.

Good! Looks like Yumi's here, but I can't expect the other Quincy to show up... I've got a normal Shinigami here, and there's at least one more inside the house... Well, I think we can handle things for now. Looking around and analyzing the situation, Jan quickly decided upon the best course of action. "I'm going to start on these guys with my inner Hollow's reiatsu. There's a chance that they might stop coming if my energy masks all the Shinigami reiatsu... And yours, Yumi! Since I'll be keeping my own energy usage to a minimum, can you guys dispatch any that get too close? We need to try and conserve our energy until Squad 4 shows up or something."

Drawing his wakisashi, Jan took aim at the nearest group of Hollows and began firing thin light beams from the tip of his sword in his left hand. As the beams penetrated the Hollows' masks, they let out cries of pain and vanished through purification. "Heh... Piece of cake!" Oh, I could actually go for some cake right about now- Pay attention to aiming. Fine... "Let's try to clear these quickly and establish this area as a rendezvous point for the rest of the Shinigami out there!"

EDIT: ((I think Mizu's the only other allied combatant here, so don't go overboard with the attacks! Jan's easily capable of fighting hordes of enemies, but his best abilities clear too large an area for him to use with too many allies under Vice-Captain level around him. I can also rescue anyone who gets into trouble, but it'll take time.))

((It's near where the Gate is located...maybe around Karakura Town, as far as I know. You'd have to ask Tansen for direct location.))

"REIDO!" A black beam shot out of nowhere from behind the shinigami, quincy, and Vizard standing in front of the mansion, hitting a group of Hollows that was about to try and meet the defenders at the mansion. Coming out from the shadows of one of the mansion's walls, Asuma's right hand was outstretched, his index and middle finger out in a gun-like position, with his thumb pointed up. His eye patch over his right eye was off, and his Zaigou symbol-a backwards C,the ends pointed at his nose, with a line going down the middle of the C-was easily seen.

Walking forward, Asuma withdrew his Baguadao on his right hip with his right hand, holding it backwards like a knife. Flipping the blade forward to point the tip of it in front of him, Asuma looked at Jan. "Your...a Vizard, right? I thought I felt some strong Hollow reiatsu earlier." His Zaigou symbol was burning, telling him one of three things. One, was that an Arrancar or Espada was here. And, seeing that everyone there was still alive, he ruled that out. Next, would be if another Zaigou was around. And, seeing that he couldn't feel that one was near, meant that it was a Vizard standing in front of him. The only one he really knew of was Feiy...out of...encounters. He knew there were a few, though.

"Asuma Haruka, Vice Captain of Squad 8. May I ask, who are you, exactly?"
