A giant laugh escaped Phisarious. "Who said your father would have to pay for anything? I told you, I'm pretty well off. When you've been around as long as I have, money is something that you just acquire. You don't even have to keep your job if you don't want to. You could just concentrate on your art." He told her, and then looked around the room. "But we really need do decorate this place."

Alexandra bit her bottom lip, as she tried to think up an excuse to not redecorate. "I din't know how much redecorating you can do... it's just a little apartment... just getting the piano in here was difficult... and what kind of redecorating would you want to do?" she asked, grateful that he hadn't looked in the solitary bedroom as of yet.

Phisarious thought for a moment. "Then there is only one option left... we need to get a new apartment." He giggled. "Or maybe a house. A big one, with an elevator. And a big backyard, with a swimming pool...no, a lake. With a gold ceiling. And rose marble tiles from Italy."

Alexandra blinked rapidly for a moment, and looked positively stunned. "But I'd have to move... and then I wouldn't be able to get to and from classes as easily... and how would I explain it to dad...?" she asked as she sat down on the floor. Mostly because she was sure that if she didn't she would fall standing up from this sudden announcement.

"Hmmm," Phisarious began to think. He wasn't the type to think things through all the time. "Well then, perhaps I get a new house, and you just stay here." He looked at her. "Sorry, I knew you really wanted all of that. But we really mustn't make a scene for everyone else." He said, thinking that Alex wanted the extravagance he was use to.

"It's not that I wouldn't be grateful... it's just... well, I guess I'm used to living like when my father taught high school band..." she tried to explain. "Even though he makes more money now as a professor, we both just don't spend alot on things we never felt we needed... maybe I can tell him I met someone that has a nice house though... and wants a roommate... that really likes music... but... then he'd want to meet you..."

Hmm hmm hmmm...
The humming pierced the headphones of my iPod, through my eardrums, into my brain, right down to my core. The noise was certainly not in my head, nor in my music. There was an external source...
I took my headphones from my ears and looked around. The humming continued. The acoustics of the forest were strange, but eventually I was able to tell that...
The humming was coming from overhead.
I looked up.

Phiarious frowned, "You don't want him to meet me?" He began to cry. Alex didn't know how sensitive Phisarious was, or how much he needed to be the center of attention...but she would soon find out.

Kestel didnt think she could smile more, but she just flat out ginned as Lee looked up. She knew he would be something! "Time is running out..." She finished off her humming with the words. She jumped down from the tree and landed about four feet from Lee. "Its a good song, my Muse. You should listen to it sometime." She put a hand out formally, "Nice to finally meet you Lee." She said cheerfully. Oh, this was so much better than being hidden away, only leaving clues. What a bore that was.

Alex immediately stood up and walked over to him. "No! It's not that at all... I just don't know /how/ I would introduce you... I highly doubt 'Hey, dad, this is the guy that wanted me to stay at his big nice house with him... by the way, he's a mythical creature known as a Muse, and can make me famous' is going to something that dad can handle..." she tried to explain.

"We wouldn't have to tell him I'm a muse, in fact we cant. Its against the rules. But I can fit into day to day life. And I would need a roommate if I get a house that big." Phisarious, forgetting his earlier unhappiness, giggled. "I'm sure your father would love me, and I'm sure I could love him too."
