The hunters stood ready waiting for what the vampires were going to do next. The leader finally stated, "Fire."

Ariph immediately, when she saw the hunters attack, said a spell that created a huge force field around a lot of the vampires, including Scath, Herself, Vincent, and a lot of others. She was having a hard time keeping it up though. It took a lot of energy.

Vincent awoke still enraged with the beast inside, now he was thrashing wildly his wounds were healed and he was determined to kill. Because of the force field setup his chains were weakened. He broke out and ran toward the nearest food source the hunters who were reloading arrows.

Ariph saw Vincent break out. "Shoot." She sid. She couldn't get him under control and help protect some of the vampires. She kept the force field up and let Vincent go. He may be able to get at least a few of the hunters. Ariph said. She couldn't hold it anymore. After the second shower of arrows, the force field came down. She ran over and said another spell towards Vincent. "Ama, karuta, pama!" She yelled and she paralyzed Vincent for a few minutes. Before the hunters could get hold of him, she brought him back to the vampires. "Stay here until I say!" She sneered at him.

The spell had not only paralyzed him for a moment but made him go back to his old self his eyes went back to normal. "What are we doing?" Vincent was confused then remembered attacking. "Sorry I couldn't control my thirst."

Ariph was glad that he had finally calmed down. "You must have been really thirsty to loose control like that." She said. She looked at the hunters. He had killed quite a few of them. "But I've got to say, good work." She added.

"I apologize i've only done this once before when I first turned and I can't control it." Vincent looked at the remaining hunters whose weapons were broken. "But I must confess I probably wouldn't of recovered if I didn't go on a killing spree."

"That is true." Ariph said. Almost all the weapons were broken. She smiled. "Now this should be a little easier." She added.

"I don't think they need a force field anymore." Vincent looks at Ariph, "Which one are you going to take?"

Kanna looked at all the hunters. "We can't take anything until Scath tells us to." She told him.

Vincent frowns and looks at the hunters, "This would be a good time to run to your masters."

Leon walked up to Vincent and looked over at him. "Oh I dont think so." He said coldly in an instant he was behind the hunters with his axe out. "Im not letting you leave until we have clear orders on what to do with you." He said. The remaining hunters whose weapons still worked tried firing at him but he deflected all of the arrows into their shoulders, knees and other unfatal parts of their body.

Ariph joined Leon in keeping the soldiers there. She said a spell that went over about half of them. It was a reverse barrier. Anything could get in, but nothing could get out.

"Let them go the fun is in the hunt just destroy their weapons." Vincent smiled sinisterly, "We would catch them anyway dawn isn't coming anytime soon."

Leon smiled and after he whispered some words the hunter's weapons began burning. The hunter's who had no idea what to do flung them away while the more experienced ones tried to put out the flames but Leon just made the flames grow stronger so after a few seconds they gave up and threw their weapons away. Leon chuckled, he had no problem killing hunters. "I agree with you Vincent, hunting is much funner than a mass slaughter. But we still need to act on orders." He said smiling. "Anyone of you who thinks you can beat me, come, lets see how good you are. That includes you Vincent, I never had the chance to test how good you are." Leon said looking through the hunters at Vincent.
