Idhril giggled and sat up as well, and she was about to say something when she realized that he was looking towards the cave entrance. She looked over to see Celebor and Niyana, and she smiled and waved at them.
Ruque nodded at his mother. "We're all okay," he assured her. "Aunt Idhril is okay too, she says she feels just fine, and she didn't feel bad from the herb or anything! But still, I think maybe I should stay with her for a little bit longer just in case something else happens ..."
He looked over at his aunt. "Like, what if the stitches come out or something? Or if she starts getting headaches?" He shook his head. "Naw, I gotta stay with her for a little bit more. Is that okay, Mama?"
He looked up at her, his green eyes wide and pleading, just like Celebor's had been when he had been a child. There was no doubt that he was the son of both of his parents.
Celebor smiled faintly and put one hand on Niyana's shoulder, trying to reassure her that things would be all right, that Ruque would be fine here for a few days with Joruri and Idhril.

Niyana nods, "I am very glad to hear that Ruque...because your father would like to take him to his home land for a few days...so I was hoping that you would stay with your aunt and cousin...and your...uncle." She pulled Ruque to her again and hugged him warmly. "I know that you will take great care of your aunt."
Slowly she let her son go and looked down at him, "And dear...if your brother tries to talk to you are get near you run away to Joruri or your little friends...jsut do go towards him okay."
Joruri watched Niyana and her child. He watched how a family acted and then looked at Idhril. She really did deserve much better.

Ruque blinked in surprise. His parents were going to go away for a few days? To the place where his father was from? He wanted to go along too!
He was about to open his mouth to protest when he remembered that his aunt was still injured, and he nodded instead. "I will take good care of her, Mama," he promised. He threw his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly, pressing his face into her stomach. "Be safe, Mama," he said quietly.
Celebor watched his mate and his son in silence. He wished there would be some other way to ease the boy's discomfort, but he could think of none. Perhaps they would bring something back for him.
He put one hand gently on Niyana's shoulder, then rubbed it softly with his thumb. They should go ... the sooner they left, the sooner they would return ... and long goodbyes were the hardest.

Niyana felt her heart breaking. She did not want to leave her boy. He meant too much to her. He was never on his own and even with his guards and Celebor's family he would still be alone. She never liked Corrah's home town. She was not from there and leaving the only world she knew was so taxing on her nerves.
"You be safe two Ruque....I will be back soon, do not worry. I will be back very soon." She did not like the feel of her mate's hand on her. It was breaking her heart, and it felt like he was rushing her but she let go of her son. "Be a good boy dear."
She stood slowly and turned to leave.
Joruri watched the family. He wondered if that was the future of his family. A strain and sorrow. His arms moved tighter around Idhril.
Oxana yawned and rolled back onto her belly looking around. She cooed softly at the sun and thought about removing her tabard and sunning herself but kept still.

Ruque could see the pain in his mother's face, and it was that more than anything that made him worry, made him sad about her leaving. As she was turning away, he threw his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly.
"It's okay, Mama," he told her with a brave smile. "Someday we can all go together! But right now you need to rest and get better, okay?"
He grinned up at her. "And when you come back you can tell me all about it, okay?"
Celebor smiled at his son, but his eyes were sad. He nodded - yes, someday, if Ruque still wished it, they would all go together as a family to Arda.
Novizio stood still as he watched his young master and his parents, his eyes watching them closely. He would do everything in his power not to let anything happen to the master while the parents were away ... and he knew that Oxana would help just as much.
Idhril felt Joruri's arms tighten around her, and she looked up at him worriedly. Had something happened? Was he all right?
"Joruri?" she whispered, running one finger along his jaw. "What's wrong?"

Niyana smiles and resists the urge to wrap her arms around Ruque. But instead she just ran her fingers threw his soft hair. "Yes we can go together some time. Yes I guess your right....I need some rest...your father thinks so too." She nods, "I will try to find lots of things to tell you."
She knew she was not leaving permenatly but still it almost felt like it. She smiles, "Try to have fun too and have a story or two for me too dear."
Joruri shook his head, "No mi...my love." He blushed as her dark finger moved over his pale lips. He tilted so he could kiss the perfect digit.
He smiled at their daughter. "Sehnin why don't you go ask Ruque if he would like to go gather get breakfast with us." Distraction always helped the good by process.

Ruque grinned up at Niyana. He could sense her uneasiness, but he wanted to show her that things would be all right.
"I'll have lots to tell you when you get back!" he agreed, holding out his pinky finger to promise her.
Sehnin nodded eagerly at her father. "I'll do that!" she beamed. She was a cheerful little girl, it seemed to take a lot to get her down. She spun on one foot and zipped over to her cousin, and tugged on his shirt. "Come on, Ruque! Papa says we can go with to get breakfast ready!"
Ruque looked down at Sehnin, then back up at his mother. "I gotta go help with breakfast," he grinned up at Niyana, "and you better go too ... can't tell stories if we don't go!"
He giggled and ran off with Sehnin once more, waving at Niyana over his shoulder. "See you when you get back!"
Idhril smiled with relief at Joruri's reassurance, and she sat up and smoothed out her clothes. Her eyes were bright as she watched Sehnin getting her cousin, and she watched in silence as Niyana and Celebor prepared to leave.
As Ruque ran off, Celebor stepped up behind Niyana and brushed the back of his hand across her cheek.
"Will you be all right?" he asked her softly, his eyes tender as he looked at her. More than anything else, he was worried about her ...

Niyana wrapped her pinky around her son's and then watched as he ran off with his cousin. She nods and waves, "Yes you are right....have fun Ruque." She felt Celebor and looked into his eyes, "Yes...I will be fine Celebor..we should head out." She turns to Idhril and Joruri and the gryphon,"Thank you all for taking care of Ruque wail we are gone." She turned to walk off with Celebor.
Joruri nods, "Any time miss Niyana." He said and moved to stand his hand slowly trailing up Idhril's back and side.
Oxana saw her master and a small female. She set her wings and flew after them. She would not let him out of her sight.

Idhril shifted unconsciously closer to Joruri and his embrace and slipped one arm around his waist, her other hand moving to his chest, her head resting on his shoulder.
"I hope they're all right," she murmured to Joruri as she watched her brother and sister-in-law heading out into the forest in the direction of the portal. Then she smiled up at her mate. "But look at the bright side," she said happily. "More help for building us a home! But come, we should make sure the children are all right."
She giggled softly and kissed Joruri on the chin, then ran her hand across his chest and followed after the children.
Sehnin looked over her shoulder, sensing someone coming after her and her cousin.
"Ruque," she said in a confused tone, "I think the dragon girl is coming with us ..."
Ruque followed her gaze and nodded. "It's okay," he assured her, "she's going to take care of us."
He smiled warmly at her. "She's going to keep us safe."

Joruri smiles and pulls Idhril closer to him as her body seemed to call his. "Joruri am sure they will work it out." he said sliding his arm around her shoulders. He nods, "Yes....we can build a fine house then." he said softly lowering his head to kiss her head.
As she stood he moved with her. "Yes...we should go with them...."
Oxana landed next to Ruque. She clicked softly at him as he spoke about her. She nodded that she would keep him safe and she walked standing straight next to him every now and then as she walked the rip of her tabard would flutter giving a glimpse of her slowly developing breasts.
