Yes, both my parents know. My brother. Hell, I am sure the way it spreads, my whole family knows. But I know what all the youngsters feel. When I was 12, and started feeling how I did, I knew I couldn't come out. Disownment, disappointment, all of that. But the thing is, even if I came out then, and not 15 years latter, they are my parents, no matter what, and they will understand. They will love you, because you are apart of them. No matter who you choose to be with (or in my case, who I choose to be.)
Just make sure it is a good time to open up, and let them know. Not when you all are fighting. That is a bad thing. They may get a little angry, but as you show them that you are serious about going down a different path than the "normal" way of life, they will begin to see that it is REALLY you, and not a fad, of "trying to be cool". And they will appreciate you that much more, for being able to tell them.

Yeah my parents know, except I think sometimes they forget I'm bi. Until I talk all the time about Pride, and drag, and the time I almost dated a girl...

i don't even want to thnk about it...my mom thought my FRIEND was alesbain and freked out bad enought about that..it was like she wanted to kill her....iroicly i got a gay uncle..who's disowned...i'm 16 and junior so i be out of collge in a fw eyars and a jop and my own place. I guess if i end up wanitng tom ary a gilrl i gotta tell them but b4 then they don't need to know.
also sukcs b/c i got a g/f now who make me happiere then any guy did and icnt evne tell my big siter about ti and she was the only eprosn in this whole f'ing family i could actually talk to

my family knows as do also my good friends. My family seems accepting of it, but I never really talk about it with them.

my mom got the message when i asked her what she'd do if i was lesbian, and she said she'd go into serious denial because im HER daughter, which means im gonna have the perfect husband and two perfect children and my mom will go to the beach with my kids every weekend. stare then the other day she told her friend "i think my daughter is trying to tell me she's gay. i still need a few more minutes of denial though." sweatdrop
as for my dad, i kinda just let him figure it out for himself. whenever i see a cute girl on tv, i tell my dad how cute she is, and i purposly leave my msn on with my icon that says "fruity and proud" for him to see. he's not stupid. i think he gets it. surprisingly nobody has confronted me about it yet! rofl 4laugh cool

kokuyoTashibana HELL NO!!!!! i would never tell them....my mom is a seriouse catholic that doesn't believe in gays, bis, and lesbians cry ....and my dad well ijust don't want to tell him sweatdrop *nods*yea same with me parents only they are like cristhen and stuff so they have told me alot that they HATE homesexuals and stuff and i asked my mom one time why she hated them so much and she said "Cuz its not what God wants!"and so on.......and i have NEVER heared her say the F word before but she said it like 3 or 4 times in a row about Homos....O.o I i would tell me paster but he might tell me parents and i have told me friends they are ok with it and i also told me therapist one day just cuz i wanted an Adult to know about it and i am afraid she may tell my mom or dad cuz she says "oh no, I wont tell anybody anything."When one time i heared her tell my mom how many times i have Cut myself and at what time and what i felt and other s**t! And she told me that she would not tell my mom or anybody any of that s**t untill i was ready and willing to let them know,and now they get to learn that (cutting thing)and now they may find out the bi thing also!! crying crying crying crying crying crying crying so somone plz PM i need help about this like and soon sad Thankz -Theresa

Half, my mother knows and fully supports me and absolutely adores my gf. But...my mom and I have both agreed that telling dad wouldn't be a good idea. crying *sigh* all well, I never valued his opinion any way. wink
