Gregory woke up from his sleep the second he heard Tess's voice. He pushed back the urge to smile as her clumsy scene played out, but couldn't stop laughing on the inside. A blissful tingle soared through his body as she touched his skin. The grin broke free, and he instantly wrapped his arms around the woman, pulling her to his chest. "I hope so, too," he murmured into her hair. He nuzzled closer to her, sighing with content and enjoying the moment. "We don't want you getting hurt now, do we?"

Leon looked back at her, knowing the next piece of knowledge would hurt. "Especially when the 'dead' happens to be a rather beautiful red-head that I had only heard rumors about before, and from that point on resolved I would follow to the ends of the earth." He stomped out his now dead cigarette. "I don't know what he did before I got there, but I know what he planned on doing." He looked back at her. "I dealt the punishment I thought fit and got you as far away from there as possible." He gave a small smile. "I don't suppose you remember exactly how we met in Prague?"

It was as if a dagger was plunged into her chest. She placed a quaking hand over her heart, until she was sure it was going to stay put. She felt as though she knew what had happened, but after years of ridding herself of painful memories they were washed away. "You saved me?" She asked, her voice trembling as much as her body. It was obvious she wasn't sure, but she wouldn't deny that it seemed that way. "You tortured a man by turning him to save a woman who'd abandon you at the alter?" This man, this knight in shining armor, he deserved more. He deserved better than this. He should've had an innocent woman on his arm instead of a heartless beast like herself. She felt like the crushed cigarette on the ground, and believed that that should be her fate.

Leon nodded, calming down a little. "I'm little more than dirt to most people. I'm 'that guy' and I hate it." He moved to trace his fingers across her cheek as his black clothes seemed to make him look like a tall thin shadow. "But you...you didn't see me that way." His grey eyes stared right into hers. "The fact that you ever said yes meant more than anything anyone has ever done. And while I may be a foolish piece of scum, I'm not an idiot." He gave a small smile, his voice steady despite the tears glistening at the corners of his eyes. "Or maybe I am. Maybe I'm just the biggest idiot in the word. You can beat me, abandon me, hit me, kiss me, love me, break me, hate me...but I'll always find you again."

Christina seized his face, her gaze boring into his. "I never thought of you like that, and I never will." Her thumbs brushed his tears away as her own eyes continued to water. She returned his tiny smile with her own, chuckling lightly as her fingers mixed with his hair. "Foolish, maybe. But definitely not an idiot." She pulled him down until their lips barely brushed, endless emotions swirling inside of her. She knew he'd looked for her even though she'd left him. How could she have done such a thing? Why would she ever do such a thing? Was it fear? Probably. "If anyone here is an idiot, it's me. Leon, I've done horrible things to you even though you've saved me in more ways than I could count. I never want to hurt you. I could never hate you. I love you. I really do." She was sure of these words, of her love for him. Right now, she didn't care about psychotic hotel guests or losing her life. She just cared about this man. "There's no reason to look for me ever again. I'm right here, with you. I always will be."

Tess smiled genuinely at Gregory and pressed herself as close to him as she could. She lightly kissed each of his fingertips before she entwined her fingers with his. One of her fingers took again to tracing nothings on his bare skin. She debated in her mind. Half of her wanted to stay upstairs with him forever, but another half scolded her and told her that she’d missed too much already. She had a twitchy feeling that the second ‘voice’ was just Gabrielle. Personally, she’d just like both of them to shut up so she could have some peace, but Greg and she had been gone for a while. She twisted to face him better, while still staying in his arms, to say, ”Did I wake you?” She blinked innocently and smiled, leaning forward to kiss his cheek before continuing, ”So what do ya think? Shall we stay up here,” her smile widened at this suggestion. ”Or shall we go downstairs so Gabrielle doesn’t give my room away?”

Leon wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to him as he gave a small smile. "I know, Christina." He moved to gently kiss her forehead, feeling as if the world had faded to black, leaving only a pinpoint of light just above them. "No matter what happens, we'll always have each other." He also knew that this moment, this time apart from time, would stay forever inground into his memory. "Christina..."

Solomon made his way out of his room, barely paying attention to the two love-birds by their doorway. Pressing the down button on the elevator, he waited, tapping his foot before the door finally opened. His eyes widened as he blinked. "Y...You? What the hell are you doing here?"
Monster reached out and grabbed him, pulling him inside and throwing him against the back wall. "Change of plans, Ciara." He pressed the close button as the elevator began to rise up towards the roof. The entire process had been nearly silent and took less thana minute. "Meet Solomon."

Christina's arms wrapped around him, and she buried her face against his chest after feeling the press of his lips. "Leon..." she mumbled into his shirt. She wallowed in his scent, the feeling of his aura enveloping her. She wanted to revel in this moment forever, for that she felt something ominous waited for them outside of each other's grasp. Though she had heard a small sound, she didn't fully acknowledge the fact that Solomon had appeared and taken the elevator. "Whatever happens..." she slowly repeated. She chuckled lightly, shaking her head. Christina pulled her head away, looking up into his deep gray eyes. "You know, during the most romantic times, you can seem so foreboding." With that, she leaned forward and softly placed her lips on his own.

Gabrielle took a moment to poke her head through the elevator doors to see Christina and Leon kissing. 'Well at least something's going right today...' she thought grimly. She shot up to the roof for another moment to frown and hiss under her breath. She understand that Ciara had been frustrated and angry with Solomon and Leon but she was not handling it properly. And all Monster was doing was feeding the fire and concentrating on revenge. She then stalked the elevator shaft. No one was going anywhere without her knowing it.

Leon wrapped his arms more tightly around hers, kissing hers back as the air seemed to melt once more. As they slowly broke apart, he smiled. "I suppose it's because I'm a pessimist." He looked back into her eyes with a small smirk. "But you seem to be quickly changing that..."

Christina grinned happily, chuckling at his words. "Well, I'm happy to be the silver lining of your storm cloud." Her hands ran along his back, and as much as she wanted to hold onto him forever, she forced herself to let go. "So, what are we gonna do now?" She sighed, reaching up and tightening her batclip as she always did. "Gabrielle's probably going crazy manning the front desk, and who knows what else has been going on during our absence..." She smiled wistfully as the weight of responsibilty rested on her shoulders once again. Seems like Leon's pessimism was contagious.

"Hmm... I'm not entirely sure. Do you mean you falling, or you talking to yourself?" Gregory replied, grinning as her lips touched his cheek. He buried his face in the crook of Tess's neck as she continued to speak. "Even if she gives your room away, there's always mine. I don't mind sharing," he mumbled against her skin, his body softly shaking with quiet laughter. "If you want to return to the outside world, though..." He pulled away and shrugged. "I guess we could..." He gave her a playful squeeze, letting out a drowzy moan. "Whatever you want to do is fine by me."

Leon smiled, gently kissing her cheek. "While not the ideal, that's probably the best thing to do." He winked. "Don't worry. With these people around, I'm sure it won't be hard to find even the front desk interesting." He chuckled. "I'll have to find Solomon and tell him about Swank." He ran a hand back through his hair. "If anyone ever got along worse with him than I did, it was Solomon."
