Zahzi

Distinct Lunatic

PostPosted: Tue Jul 22, 2008 8:57 pm

Zahzi slowly stood up, and exited the bar as well.
As he left, he glanced over at Belle for a moment, then continued to Malcom's apparent residence.

"Now I'm sure she'll want to have her buisness done first, so I'll wait around a bit..." he muttered to himself, still going at the same pace.

Amnity finally made it to the library, though she just ran the entire way. She was winded, leaning on a statue of a lion for support. 2 more houses...You can make it... She was clearly exhausted, but she knew she had to keep going. Tiredly, she walked passed the white picket fence, to the front steps of the blue house and rang the doorbell. Come on Malcolm...

Malcolm started when he heard the doorbell. He pulled himself up from his chair, and whispered the word for transport, moving him a few feet from his front door.
"Who is it?" He asked cautiously, creating a small fireball on his hand.

"Amnity." She replied, still a bit winded from running all the way from the bar to his house.

Malcolm extinguished the flame in his hand and quickly pulled Amnity inside, locking the door behind her.
"What is it?" He asked, curiosity showing strongly on his face.

Belle glared at Damian. "That was just a bit rude. And what do you want? I can't tell you anything besides where everyone is and what they're saying." She brushed her hair out of her face and crossed her arms. Truely pissed at him. Now she remembered just why she'd let him get captured the last time. He was an annoying jackass.

Damian glared at Belle, anger showing in his languid black eyes.
"Do not make me remind you of the pain you experienced the first time you summoned me girl" He hissed, pointing an icy finger at her, "You would do well to learn respect for me."

Amnity raked her fingers through her hair and sighed, then turned back to Malcolm, almost glaring at him. "Tell me...Everything...What did you figure out...." It almost killed her, having to choke out so many words. "More spells...And what else was....Awakened." Suddenly, she stepped toward him and grabbed him by the collar. "And I'm not leaving....Until you tell me..." She took a deep breathe, obviously not liking the fact that she had to talk so much. "You can't...Do this...On your own..."

Malcolm placed his hand on Amnity's stomach, contacting her skin with all five fingertips.
"T'riani" he said, thrusting his palm forward so it came into contact as well.
There was a great impact to the air, and Amnity flew backwards against the door.
"Please do not grab me thus again Amnity" Malcolm said gently, "It makes me nervous. Besides, you don't need to resort to such methods to get me to tell you."
He motioned towards the stairs.
"Come with me."

Amnity closed her eyes, thinking Malcolm would do some type of spell to send her away again. She was actually pretty glad that the spell only knocked her back against the wall....Well, not really. "Oww..." She muttered. It did knock some sense into her though. Amnity quickly shook her head to get her thoughts back together, then followed after Malcolm. "Sorry..." She rubbed her head, for it was one of the things that hit against the wall. "Didn't sleep....Just had whiskey...Not thinking straight..."

Malcolm looked over his shoulder and gave her a smile.
"It's perfectly alright, don't worry about it."
When the reached the reading room, he gestured for her to sit, then walked over to his desk, taking out a large black book.
"You asked me to tell you what was going on, correct?" He questioned, turning to face her.

Amnity took a seat when he told her to, having now the independence of a small child. She nodded to his question, no longer wanting to talk a lot anymore.

Malcolm brought the book over to where Amnity sat and crouched so he was face to face with her.
"Sorry about the whole throwing you against the wall thing.. I really didn't mean for you to be thrown back that far."
He stretched out his hand, palm first, and placed it on her forehead.
"F'rian" He whispered, and a glowing light erupted from his palm, bathing Amnity in it's healing essence.
When the spell had finished, Malcolm placed the book in Amnity's lap.
"That book contains the language of the dark ones, which can also be used to create very powerful spells. They are words of power, and will help you tremendously."
He moved to a chair and sat, facing Amnity.
"Damian will bring a vast army when he returns, an army of Grnui, Shadows' from Morgath, the dark world. If we are to have any chance against them, this book is it. I've only managed to translate some of it, but yea, the little bit I've translated is greatly helpful. Any thoughts?"

((See dictionary for words known (old "faq" post). You can now use the ancient language for spells.))

Amnity felt like she needed to apologize for what she did again, but couldn't push herself to say it. When he put the book on her lap, she quickly opened it and flipped through the pages, her eyes glistening again. She quickly took out her little black notebook and pen and began jotting down as much as she could. Spells, as much information as possible. She stopped though, when he began explaining to her the situation. An...Army?.... "Why...Why all of this....Over a book?"

Malcolm returned to his chair and watched Amnity study the book, a somewhat distant look on his face.
"This book" He said, pointing at the Russian book that was still on the table, "Is known as the Tome of Light, or, if you prefer, the second Tome of Nguleft. That book," He pointed at the book Amnity was holding, "Is the Tome of Shadows, or the first Tome of Nguleft."
Malcolm leaned back in his chair, obviously quite tired from a long day of studying.
"All together there are three tomes, each one contains different information. In the dark language, the tomes' true names are revealed. The first tome, is called Du m'nut du Morgath. The second, Du m'nut du S'olia. And finally, the third tome, Du m'nut du K'thanu, the tome of Earth. Together, they are known as the three Tome's of Nguleft, and when brought together, they have the ability to summon the final Tome. Du m'nut du Mortis, the Tome of Death."
Malcolm closed his eyes for a moment and took a breath, calming his mind.
"Whoever possesses the Tome of Death holds the power to destroy all three worlds, and everyone in it. The book cannot ever be found, it is my intention to destroy it, as well as these other two books and the third. If I do that, then Damian will finally be destroyed, along with his entire army of Shadows'. It's the only way. But I have a problem."
He stood and began pacing, holding his arms behind his back.
"I have gleamed the location of the final Tome from several references, and it seams as though it will be quite dangerous to obtain.."
