Tarra sighed unable to do whats he had planned and looked over the notes to make sure...yes. She called down to the front lobby now tapping her fingers.
((also everyone theres now in Tarra's profile a picture thats in the picture frame she keeps looking at. ))

"Oh, I'll get this one. I heard it ring earlier but I couldn't come," he picked up the phone, "Hullo, this is the Gingerbread Hotel's front desk, how may I help?"

"Hi, Lenny" Kira said, signing in the last guest of the night. at least for now. "Has your desk disappeared, and will the shelves be next?" Kira tended to tease Laurence a lot, but she couldn't help it. It is what she does.

Laurance put his finger up as a way to tell Kira to be quiet while he talkedon the phone, it was hard for him to concentrate on the both things at once, he still gave her a smile though,
"Sure, I'll tell Lily if I met her on the way. I'll be there as fast as I can get."
He hung up the phone and smiled at Kira,
"Hey it doesn't matter as long as Alice can make another one...although I don't think she might if I decide to eat it again," he laughed, "Hey Kira, have you seen Lily? Tarra told me to tell her not to come to her office anymore, she needs me now apparently."

After hanging up she arranged all the files and notes together so she could give stuff for Laurence to do. She rubbed her temple a moment and continued to go through filling things out about the hotel. Looking at her candy flowers she was tempted....She was now nursing a strawberry rose ellegantly made by alice as she waited for Laurence.

"She is with Alice, cause while they were a little slow in the kitchen, she helped me a bit when there were a milliondy guests checking in." Kira said "I think Alice dragged her that way." Kira was pointing to the stairs with her pencil. "See ya later, Lenny!"

Laurance quickly went in the direction that Kira pointed and found Alice and Lily,
"Hey Lily, I just wanted to tell you that Tarra doesn't need you in her office anymore. I'll see you guys later," Laurence left and knocked on Tarra's door before opening it, "Hullo young miss, you said you needed me?"

Tarra looked up at him when her door opened smiling at him some."....you know you can call me Tarra like everyone else in here seems to...please take a seat " She said pointing to some of the luch chairs infgront of her desk.

Laurence nodded and pulled up a chair. He noticed that Tarra looked at a picture on her desk constantly but thought it might be better to ask later,
"So...Tarra," he smiled, "What may I do for you?"

Tarra handed him one manila envelope." thats your paycheck first of all " She smiled some. "so how is everyone doing since the surge of people in the hotel " she still had the strawberry rose in hand and was slowly eating it between phrases.

Kira sighed, bored again. She hated it when a ton of people came in, but she also hated it when there were none. Could she never learn to be content?

"Oh yeah, everyone's doing quite well. Of course Alice is still one of our best employes. It's hard to imagine how she handles all our costumers and the fact that we keep on eating the furniture he makes," he laughed, "Good thing I work out so much, otherwise I wouldn't be able to fit through the door."
Laurence accepted the envolope, "Thank you, I was hoping to buy some new weights... anyway, how are you doing Miss. Tarra?"

This surprised her and she shrugged."..a bit depressed..today is the anniversary of the accident that took Dorian from me.."She showed him the picture frame and looked at her hands."..its good evryone is doing ok...hre"S he handed him another envelope with a blank signed check."..anything we need aside from groceries since Joel takes care of their budget separately, use that check to buy anything we need " She said smiling

"Oh, I'm so sorry Tarra," he though took the check and pocketed it in his shirt pocket, "I'll make sure to check if we need anything. Tarra, so who exactly is Dorian, I'm sorry if this will bring any painful memories, you don't need to answer me."
Laurance's curiosity was aroused when she showed him the picture frame, he was probably her boyfriend but he hadn't met him before.
