Wendy smiled after him as she watched him walk slowly away, his eyes locked on hers. Then as he turned the corner she let out another sigh (this one could be described as "lovesick") and turned to the door of the Ravenclaw Common Room to await her question.

Running a hand through his hair with an exhaustion beyond his years, Remus brought that same hand down to scrub at his face as he turned around and walked the right way. He wouldn't be able to spend another whole day with Wendy like that; she had come far too close to figuring out his "illness" after spending only one day together. It would probably be better if he never saw her again at all.

Sirius rushed out of the Hufflepuff common room, his face flushed and hot. He had been too shocked to register exactly what he saw, but... it happened nonetheless. He was mortified. It was like walking in on somebody while they were going to the bathroom or something... but worse.
He knew it was probably his fault in the first place, too. And now Mar would feel totally awkward and it would be a killjoy at breakfast.

Still hitting herself mentally as her mostly-dry hair flapped freely about her shoulders, Mar emerged from the Common Room in her maroon skirt and gray sweater-shirt set.
"Hey, I uh--" blinking at why her feet were suddenly cold, she looked down to see she was barefoot. "Oh, wait a minute." She ran back into the Common Room, dried and brushed her hair, put on some purple Mary Janes, and ran back out within about two minutes. She grinned lopsidedly, blushing from their earlier encounter but determined to pass it off as just a goofy accident.
She really didn't know what to say next. So, she just moved her sweater to the side and proudly announced "Look, I am wearing shirt today!" like a small child waiting for praise.

"I... er... am relieved," Sirius replied lamely, his face still laced with puce. "... Great shoes."

"T'ank you," Mar nodded, trying to ignore his blush. Her grin slowly faded into an embarrassed grimace. "I am sorry, for earlier, I was not paying...erm..." She felt her blush return, unable to come up with the word she was looking for in English she was suddenly so distraught. "...paying...paying mind?" She clapped a hand to her forehead. "s**t," she muttered, still knowing that word in English despite her nerves.

"Attention?" Sirius offered, his smile apologetic. "Don't worry about it. I was just slightly surprised, is all. I didn't see as much as you think I did, though," Sirius assured her, grabbing her hand.
"Shall we?"

"Yes, t'ank you," she responded, both at his help with her english and his suggestion to go. She squeezed his hand and bit her lip, though she was smiling this time. What, he didn't want to look? she found herself thinking before almost visibly shaking her head. Stupid, stop with the mood swings! "May I eat wit you at breakfast? I do not want to know if anyone saw us right now."

"Sure, that's fine," Sirius replied, leading her to the Great Hall. "Be prepared for some questions and snide remarks if Remus is there, though..."

Mar smiled. "But I know Remus is kind and sweet, and only tries to get on your nerves wit snide comments," she said. "De 'ufflepuff gerls are not so kind or sweet to me since beginning of term."

"Aw, I'm sorry about hearing that bit of news, love. But at least I know that it gives you incentive to hang out at our table more often, yeah?" Sirius grinned and squeezed her little hand, which was already tightly clasped in his large one.

"Obviously. Besides, I enjoy your company so much it would make sitting wit silly 'ufflepuffs a bore even if dey were my friends," she shrugged, her smile widening as he squeezed her hand, and she squeezed back to the best of her abilities (her hand was almost too small!). She kept the smile plastered to her face despite her newly acquired misgivings about today, still remembering her words from the night previous. We should probably talk...tomorrow. That would now mean today. Crap.

"That's sweet, really. Just don't feel too overwhelmed at the venomous stares from other girls. They won't take kindly to the sight of our holding hands. But... they'll get over it," Sirius informed her, with a funny little smile. He truly didn't like all the female attention that he earned himself, as he didn't fancy many girls...
He rounded the corner and led her into the Great Hall, his chin held up high. It didn't matter if they stared, and it didn't matter that he and Marketa weren't dating. Sirius was happy.

Marketa led Wendy out into the corridor, and leaned against the wall as she contemplated what she should say and how to say it. She gently pulled out her photo of herself and Ivana, gently running her fingers down Ivana's smooth round cheek. Ivana was wearing a baby jumper that said "Mé maminka láskou roztoužený mě!", and Marketa was positively beaming at the camera as Ivana's tiny fists patted against her cheek.
"I...I 'ave someting I should zji- tell - you, Wendy."

Wendy's smile faded as she noted Marketa's serious expression. "Sure, Mar, anything," she said quietly, her eyes concerned.
