And another thing! Would anyone like to see any kind of x-mas foods in a CV game or would it be way too silly? How about other holiday foods?

Nope! no eggnog buddy. There is however, a food called "Birthday Cake" and you can find it on the shop of PoR (Vincent sells it) only during your own birthday and it has a good recovery. Alas, I don't recall how many HP you get back by using it.

It's too bad there seems to be few things to chat about here nowadays, huh? I suppose I could try and come up with new ideas for CV foods but if not a lot of members post then what's the use?

Well, it really depends on the game.

If you notice, in Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow, they can be very helpful if and only IF you have the right soul equipped. In Aria, I think the one that allows you to recover health from bad foods is the red golem soul. Do you know the one that seems to be made from meat? I think that's the one, I'm not sure as I haven't played this one in quite a while now.
In Dawn, I'm pretty sure it's the Ghoul's soul that "allows you to eat food that is normally unpalatable". Or at least that is sort of how one of the soul descriptions go, I think.

In PoR however (I'm not sure if it exists in Ecclesia), there's no point for it unless you feel like making the game tougher. That's the only point I see in it cuz there's no other way to use it. I'm thinking the programmers at Konami really dropped the ball on that one. rolleyes

Well, if you count the "Cream Pie" in PoR, you can actually throw food at the enemies but, that only works on that game and I don't know if they're gonna do something like that again.
You know, I would have liked that sub-weapon more (cream pie) if the range of it was better and if it did more damage. I remember it barely did any and it wasn't very good at all, not even against Richter cuz, I think the pie had the darkness attribute so, you'd think it would be an awesome weapon against Righter, right? Wrong!

Yeah but it's only a sub-weapon and it's the only sub-weapon that works like that so, it's really not that great. Maybe if they had done it so we could fling the food items we have at the monsters. What would you make of such a thing? I think it might add an element of strategy to our attacks. Like:

First, you have to equip an ability or "Relic" that lets you equip a food item and throw it at an enemy.
Second, If we equip an ice cream and throw it at a monster weak to ice, we'll probably kill it in one strike but, if it absorbs ice then we're just gonna heal it and pretty mush waste an item.

How about that!? I wish more members could come here to post on this idea...
I wonder if Luxlui would like it or not...
