((I remember that. But it develops good plot twists, so it's not a bad thing.
NOTE: Akumu_no_Koinu has been having trouble with her computer, so that's why she hasn't been posting much. I suppose we'll have to make due for the time being. And another thing: I'm leaving tomorrow for about week or so. So during that time, my characters can be NPCs if you need them for something
And I've got writer's block too, so that's why this is all I'm posting xp ))

Violet got back up and noticed her new friend in thought; she had a feeling that something bad had happened while she was busy retrieving her fork, but she said nothing on it. At least she was still on her side.
"Ah well; at least she's gone for a bit, giving us a moment of peace again. She makes me nervous." the girl sighed, taking a sip of water. "I was loving your combacks though; I need to work on mine."
Evan could only imagine with Lasarina's anger what that could do to a person. "Ah well, let's hope the whole getting-together thing works out some bad relationships." he sighed. "Work on fixing the future of the Kingdoms and not dwelling on the past."

In her distracted state the sarcastic words seemed to snap into her brain, they weren't too bad, merely bragging, but it would be a start. With a smirk Lasarina turned back to Violet, looking every bit the smug princess she had been before. "Maybe in a hundred years you'll be as good as me, then again, I kinda doubt it." She practically purred, flashing an overconfident grin.

Upon these words, Violet knew that Clarissa must have said something to her, for her attitude to change so suddenly on it's own was NOT in her style. She raised an eyebrow at the fire princess; there were two options as to what just happened:
1)Clarissa must have threatened them both with something. The Fire royalty being proud people and for Clarissa to expose her weaknesses, Lasarina might be doing this to protect Violet and herself from harm. It'd be noble, despite it not being so.
2)She was acutally best friends with Clarissa, and the entire thing had been a ploy from the start. It would have been as simple as a phone call and a long chat in plans. The Air royalty were always late, so Clarissa would have figured that Lasarina would have beaten her there. Another way to screw Violet over.
Either way, she decided to go with the game for now, and merely took another bite of food, not sure what to say, since the girl's intentions were unclear now. She kept her face just like before, neutral yet with a hint of nervousness and another of peace.

For one brief second there was a flash of pain in Lasarina's eyes, she'd completely forgotten that she would end up hurting herself as well. "On the bright side, it won't matter how bad you are at insults. The way Clarissa was acting you probably could've thrown a "yo momma" or a "your face" at her and she would've stormed off like a little wuss." She added quickly, hoping that maybe somewhere in the sentence Violet could see that she was still on her side even if it meant that she had to act indifferent and sarcastic again.
With another smirk Lasarina winked saucily. "Personally, I'd go with a good "your face". It's never failed to piss Cain off, especially if I say it to ever thing he says, insult or not," She said, still keeping her confident sounding voice. "An example. Cain says: I'm bored. And I say: Your face is boring." She tried not to laugh, remembering an accident where Cain had said that a flower was pretty, just because he knew Lasarina was messing with him, and she told him his face was pretty.

Ah, good, so it was the first option! Although this plan of mask-up seemed to be hurting the girl more than it did Violet, for she could see the split-second pain in the fire princess' eyes. Strange, maybe it was because Violet was used to it more than she was, being indifferent to others.
Now having something to respond to, Violet nodded as she listened to Lasarina's suggestion. "Hm, I've always debated trying that; of course, other than my family, it's just the servants/guards. There's one that's always bugs me, though; always pointing out how my nose is ugly. I'll need to spin it one day just to see his expression......" she giggled slightly.

Veera finished eating, and rose from her seat. A servant quickly took care of her plate, so that she could make an announcment to the others, "As soon as you are all finished eating, you may go and unpack. Just ask any servant, and they will take you to your rooms," she then inclined her head, and went to take care of some other business elsewhere.
((And sadly, I'm leaving again today for another week xp . My dad has to go to an office of his in another state, and has decided to take all of us along to go camping nearby. We were supposed to leave tomorrow, but since it would be a 12 hour drive, my parents decided to split the trip up a bit. I doubt I'll have internet access))

Wafiya stood up and went over to a servant. "Could you please show me to my room. Oh, and get my bags out of my carriage. It's the soft pink one, I'm pretty sure it's the only pink carriage!" said Wafiya with a chuckle "Of course," replied the servant. He turned and started to lead her to her room.
"Here it is," the servant gestured to the dark wood door. "Thank you," said Wafiya entering the room "I'll have your bags in here in a minute," replied the servant
Wafiya wandered around the enormous room. She stopped at a large window in the living room and admired the gorgeous sunset. There was a knock at her door. Wafiya walked swiftly over to the door. My bags, she figured. She opened the door only to see that her brother got here! "James!" Wafiya squealed. "I'm here!" sang James. The servant was walking down the hall with all of Wafiya's bags. It was only now that she realized she packed a ton! One, two, three, four...jeez, seven bags! Oh well. She had the servant drop them in the closet and went back to talk with James. "I had no clue you were coming!" said Wafiya as she entered the living room. They continued to chat the rest of the evening.
