"Well..." Remus gave a tiny smile to Rory. She was a long time friend, and was even a younger friend of his grandpas! She would understand, right? He opened his mouth to explain, but as Serenity approacked, he shut it with a snap and turned away. "Why not ask then? I bet it would be more fun..."

Aurora looked at Serenity and got a little repulsed. How could such a cute little girl eat...that bug? ick!
Aurora got up slowly and gave Remus a hug. "I have to go to bed Remus. I am sorry. I hope you feel better. We all care about you and wouldn't wanna just go have fun without you, especially if you aren't feeling happy." She waves to him and to everyone else. "Good night, and be happy! Frolicing and playing is good." She nods enthusiastically and trots off.

*Theron "bobble-heads" in Remus's direction & Trelweny spies the unhappy pup* A grumpy Talaye? *she thinks to herself* I suppose anything is possible.
Locke: *chases after butterflies, trying to gently catch them & release them again*
Shippou: *sniffs at the edge of the newest basket* When're we getting a Tala, Trel?
*pulled from her reflections she turns to the little fox's querry as the baby grabs at a loos whisp of her hair* huh? Oh. I don't know Shippou. We'll have to wait and see.

Serenity spat a buggy leg from her mouth, making a face. Mental note: tear off the legs before eating the bug. She padded closer to her older brother, her head bowed in a submissive manner.
"Yun kop sae no," {Sorry if I made you mad.} She mumbled, not looking up at Remy.
Miko waved goodbye to Aurora, frowning as she saw Remy so upset. She should have a talk with him, and soon. There was no reason for him to be jealous of Serenity.

"Yeah. Frolicking, sure." Remus nodded to Aurora as she left, not even bothering to wave, before turning his attention to Serenity. What Aurora said hadn't made much difference to him. But when the pup apologized, he let out a deep sigh. Why was he mad? It wasn't her fault for having the same parents any more than it was his. "I'm not mad... not at you, anyway. I just... agh, I don't know." Sighing again, he turned around. "Go play. I'm not mad."

Eve watched the interacting talaye's with a smile on her face. She couldn't wait for her pups to come out of their baskets and join in the fun.

"Uen ploh nah!" {But I want to play with you!} Serenity beamed a smile up at him, touching her muzzle to his. She wanted her brother to like her, even if she had forgotten why he was mad at her.
Miko slipped off to a more secluded area of the meadow, and laid under the tree that had become hers and Sirry's. She absently wondered where her mate had gone as she laid her head on her paws, thinking of all her children now.

"Not now." He didn't mean to be short with the pup, but at that moment he felt he needed to be alone. To figure out why he had problems being left alone. sweatdrop "Go on, you can play with them," he muttered, motioning out into the meadow, which seemed suddenly devoid of pups. "Odd... guess it's past their bedtime. Which means it's past yours too, squirt."

Serenity cast her gaze downwards, nodding a little. She glumly went off to find her Mama, who had remembered how much pain Sirry was in, and had gone to comfort him.
"How are you feeling, love?" Miko asked Sirry as she padded up to him, licking his face in concern. It looked as if the children had pounced him throughly earlier.

Remus shook his head sullenly and rolled over. Maybe if he went to sleep himself, he'd be able to sort things out. He didn't like feeling like this. Before curling up for bed though, he reached out and retrieved his paper airplane. Perhaps he could use it again sometime.
"Agh..." Sirius looked at Miko, trying to look brave and failing terribly. "I'll be fine. It just hurts a lot if I move too much. What about you? And the kids?"

"Oh we're fine, Serenity and Remus were fighting..I think they have it sorted out, kind of." Miko smiled a little and curled up beside Sirry, making sure not to touch him. She didn't want to hurt him more than he was already. "I hope so, I hate to see them fight."
Serenity watched from a distance, curling up under a nearby tree to doze. Parents were so boring when they got all snuggly.

"So do I. I don't know why they are, either... I always got along well with Dris and Ling... and Koda and Pumpkin too. They always felt like my brother and sister as well." Sirius sighed. It seemed everything was getting complicated again. "Well... maybe they'll both settle down in the morning. But I'm going to nod off any second." With a sheepish grin, he lay his head next to Miko. "Night, love."

"Good night, dear." Miko nudged her muzzle close to his, her own eyes growing sleepy. It was quite late..and the day's excitement had worn her out. Her chest soon rose and fell with the easy calm of one asleep and dreaming of happy things.
