Hey! *Flinches* Ease up on the plush rabbit assault, Luxlui! You know I'm just winding you up! xd Lol. *Hug* I agree tough games are often better, though they do try your patience to the limit a lot of the time.
Is that so, Kenshin? That can't be good; I'm sure you could make a difference in their thinking on the Castlevania front. The Bleach games are pretty good. The DS one is at least, the Wii game not so much. Oh right, sure. I'll explain some things if you want, but you may need to send a friends request because I don't usually accept pms unless they are people I know. But you look sane, unlike some others I've seen on Gaia, so it's all good.

Hmm, are there really castlevania cookies? I don't remember any in the recent DS games... But yer right Luxlui, a game shouldn't be either too easy or too tough. I love games that have difficulty levels built in. For example, Batman Returns & Street Fighter 2, both had a difficulty level setting so you could challenge yourself to do better each time you played. That was awesome cuz you could get to see a slightly different ending depending on the difficulty level that you beat the game in. Some games though, like Ninja Gaiden for the NES, don't even give you that so if you don't have a good ability for gaming, yer not gonna be able to do much at all. I hate games like that! Thanks for the vote of confidence my new friend! It's too bad you're not the one responsible for hiring people in Konami, he-he. Really? So the DS game is better than the Wii game? That's good for me cuz I only have a DS and not a Wii. I am liking the show so far so I may get the game at some point. Gee, thanks man! But I tried to send you a friend request and I got an error page. Maybe you could send me one instead? It would be cool if you could tell me about the things you like about the Bleach game for DS, as well as some things about the show itself. Oh yeah, I know what you mean! One time, I was trying to ask everyone in Gaia about a simple thing like: what does the word "patriot" means to you? Guess what? I only got rude responses like, "do your own homework" and stuff like that. And I was only trying to please my grandfather cuz he wanted to know what people of different countries had to say about the subject. rolleyes BTW, I just saw a video of both CV games that are gonna come out and they look good. The fighting game for the Wii doesn't look as cool as the DS game but, I hope it ends up well cuz, so far it seems like it's gonna be in 3D and the characters will be able to move all over the place. I heard how that was a problem on some games but, I hope that's not the case here... If anyone wants to see the video, I can post the link. 3nodding

Oooh yush Mr Kenshin! 3nodding I believe in the mythical Castlavenia cookie! whee They have every other random food item in the game and that is the missing one! eek Oooh you know I think some other more recent Nintendo games have a difficulty curve that changes depending on how poop at the game you are! whee I'm just not sure which ones! rofl It's a really good idea to have for games though! eek There is a video of the Castlevania game for Wii?! Oooh I want to seee! 3nodding

Kenshin Belmont Hey Noxlu! I'd love to get a job at Konami but they don't have offices in my country. Too bad too cuz with my ideas, they could do even better, he-he. If you don't believe me, you could ask luxlui about some. mrgreen So, you know a lot about Bleach, huh? I haven't been able to play fight games lately but I hear that some of Bleach fighting games are quite good. Is that really how it is? I think I'm gonna PM you so you can explain some of the things in the show for me. I've barely watched 11 episodes and I'm barely starting to get the hang of it. 3nodding So, Mr Soma saw the movie "masters of the universe" with Dolph Lungdren (sp?)? I didn't like that movie much and I hope they do the game justice at least. Ninja Gaiden? Yeah! I believe I played 2 of them (the NES ones) and I hated them! Waaay too difficult for me. Why do they have to make games like that I wonder? I could never get very far on either one! stressed Gee, poor mistress. Not only does she miss stuff, she also gets ignored sometimes. sweatdrop One of my comments did get ignored on the OOC thread but, what the heck! rolleyes Yep, I saw that movie, it went a little off the tracks in terms of being a movie of He-Man. Its like they were too embarrassed to admit that it was based off a kid's show, so they thought leather and a strange plot development would grow it up some...yeah right stare I personally loved the kid's show when I was little, it was great! Kenshin, you should try Ninja Gaiden on the X-box and Xbox 360, they're a lot better! Infact there's also a game on DS. Well, the only solution to that is to get everyone to try and include DM in the discussions more frequently.

I don't know about the Nintendo games, but I know that Devil May Cry 3, for example, can allow an option for easy mode if you suck enough on the initial missions. But for something interesting to read concerning the difficulty of video games, have a read of this, focussing on the discussion of how challenges are balanced.
Well, that isn't really the sort of job I'd be too interested in; I'd have to converse with too many people. Yeah, the Wii game has a little too much 'wave your arms around and if that doesn't work wave your arms around faster' strategy behind the fights. Oh, and building up your bankai move with the nunchuk looks dodgy. Especially when you're playing against a friend. You can't go wrong with the DS game, it has enough characters, different story chapters, unlockables, and the gameplay is well polished. I can elaborate in a pm if you want anyway. Oh, really? My bad. I must have put the blocker on my friends requests again, I'll add you. Gaia isn't populated with vast numbers of sensible, polite and intelligent people. It is disappointing when people act in that way towards a straightforward question, but it really depends on who you are talking to.
Yeah, I watched the video on the Wii Castlevania game when I noticed them on youtube yesterday. It still looks like Soul Calibur and strangely the 3D environment and the moving space for the fighters looks similar to the Bleach game. So, will it end up playing similar to the Bleach game on Wii? If Konami are being lazy, that's a possibility.
Luxlui! Not the hair! You have no idea how long it takes to make it look this awesome! Now you're in for a heap of trouble. domokun *Carries Luxlui off the forums* Mwahaha!

Well Luxlui, I hope those CV cookies are good or I'm not gonna hire you as my next chef, ha-ha! lol And yer right, I have heard that some games have that and like you, I can't remember which games those are. rolleyes And here, I brought you 2 videos for everyone to see: Video about Ecclesia & Judgement from the E3.This one is just about the game for the Wii.I hope Mr. Soma likes them. 3nodding Sadly Mr. Soma, I don't own either an x-box or a 360 so, I'm gonna pass on those. I do know there's one for DS but I am not interested. I much rather go for FFTA2, Chrono Trigger or CV: OoE. 3nodding I'm gonna save for the last 2! Thanks for that Link Noxlu! I had no idea about DMC3 having that feature. Too bad I won't be able to play it anytime soon. Really? Hmm, I guess it wouldn't be a job for everyone. I'd like to at least try it out, you know? If I can't make a game better then I should quit or something. I'm hoping that the CV fight game for Wii won't be about waving arms so much. After all, IGA did say that he wasn't gonna do that cuz people get tired and all. I'm also hoping they learn from Nintendo and allow many different kinds of controller configurations like, the game cube, the virtual console and alike. That way, many people can play. That's ok, at least there are other ways we can be on each other's friend lists. And yer right! Though I don't get why some people have to act like that. I mean, we're all human so we shouldn't treat each other like crap. You would think we could be capable of something better. rolleyes At least there are some videos on you tube. The second video I posted is mostly about some screen shots. It looks ok but I liked the second part of the first video a lot better. I hope the final version is much better looking. BTW, I remember trying out a fight game in 3D but I hated it. I couldn't control the characters very well and I always forgot how to do certain things. I prefer fight games in 2D. I wonder if anyone else agrees with me on this... neutral Gee, Noxlu is gonna teach Luxlui some manners, oh boy... sweatdrop

Wheeee! rofl Being kidnapped was fun! 4laugh *sits down and claps* 3nodding Oooh now that I think about it, I'm not that good at fight games except smash bros and I'm quite good at soul calibur on the gamecube! 3nodding But I like both and don't have a preference for 3D or not! 3nodding There seem to be lots more 3D ones than 2D ones lately though! eek Unless they are on the DS or something! 3nodding Is that maybe a pattern? 3d ones for bigger home consoles and 2d ones for handheld consoles? eek Is that why all the Castlevania ones for ps2 were in 3d then? It isn't always the consoles power either because there's lots of 3d games on the psp isn't there? There are some for the ds too like the mario 64 one! 3nodding Oooh! I'm going to think about this some more! Does everybody else play fighting games anyways? Do you play them Draculas Mistress? eek

You shouldn't say that Luxlui! I know you don't mean anything by it but nobody should joke about such things (kidnapping I mean). Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you what to do, I'm just saying... sweatdrop
You know, I did notice that but I always assumed that because of the portable consoles power, they never released many 3D games on the till now. After all, the DS & the PSP are able to generate 3D graphics quite well (one better than the other though). I personally stopped playing fighting games after "Super Street Fighter 2" for the SNES. I was a bit better on the original SF2 for SNES but what the heck. So you can imagine how long ago I haven't really gotten into one of those. I did play some but I didn't really like them. I think I tried Dead or Alive (one of them anyway) and a super hero based game but, I can't recall the name. rolleyes
You know, even if somehow, I got a Wii by the time CV Judgement comes out, I don't think I'd buy it. I'm not much for 3D fight games, they're too much complex for my taste.

Hm. *Sits next to Luxlui and folds arms* Kenshin has made a fair comment there, Luxlui. That sort of thing shouldn't be taken lightly; you'd have been better off saying adventure time is fun. Lol.
Heh, I remember watching He-Man when I was a kid too, Soma. Pretty embarrassing now, but I'll happily own up to watching Thundercats. That show was great.
Thanks to you for posting the links, Kenshin. At least now everyone has seen those videos. Oh, yeah DMC3 had such an extra because it was a pretty tough game, even on normal; it didn't phase me particularly, but I know people who struggled with it. That's how I learned about the easy mode, there was another edition of the game which supposedly was even easier too. Personally, I think it's a bit overkill to keep making a game easier just because some people don't have the patience to practice. neutral Accessibility is one thing, forced simplicity is another. Some of the older Castlevania games can be claimed as quite difficult, but they just require timing and patience.
Igarashi may opt for using virtual console or gamecube pads for this Castlevania game, which is fine. However, I don't believe Nintendo would approve a game that doesn't have any/much use of the Wii Remote. If we are fortunate, there will be the option to use different controls from various pads; leaving most of the motion sensing Wiimote 'fun' tacked on as minigames. To be ignored. I agree 3D fight games can be difficult to master, but the combos you tend to see are often just as complex as those in something like Street Fighter or Guilty Gear. You do move around in a 3D plane, but it makes the fights more interesting since you have more movement options available to you. At least in this Castlevania game or Soul Calibur, your character does not decide to start flying around in the air to fight, DBZ style. rolleyes

eek Oro? Oooh! gonk I didn't think of it that way! Sorry Mr Kenshin! *gives cookie* Sorry Noxluuu! Wait! A Noxlu! *huuuugs* 3nodding Oooh! Guilty gear! I like that game! I'm better on that than street fighter! But I wonder! If this Castlevania 3d fighty game turns to to be really good, maybe konami will make a 2d version for ds! 3nodding I don't think a 3d one would work on the ds very well really and the psp has lots of naruto fighty games already! But I suppose Noxlu is right, the wii castlevania game will probably just have lots of poopie minigames and get really unpopular so a sequel of any kind won't happen! crying

Nice to see Noxlu agreed with me on that but, I wasn't trying to make Luxlui feel bad or anything. So no need to apologize to me. I mean, some people may find such comments offensive but, not me. wink I must admit that He-man was one of my favorite shows cuz the episodes had a moral and, you kinda learned something, at least, he-he. sweatdrop I also liked the thunder cats a lot too but I don't remember the episodes having a moral at the end... neutral Yer welcome! I wish I could play at least one DMC game cuz I have no idea how easy was the so called "easy" mode. I get what you say cuz some games that are supposedly, very hard or impossible for some, I found them to be not as tough for me. Get this example: I hated the very first CV on the NES cuz I never got past Death and I got so frustrated, I vowed never to touch that game again. However, Simon's Quest (the second one for NES) was very tough or even impossible for some people but, for me it wasn't as tough. I actually managed to finish that game (after consulting how to get past some points). Can you believe that!? I still don't get why I was able to finish the second game but not the first. Weird, eh? You are also right about timing and patience. I just rather play 2D fighting games cuz they're so much simpler and I rather not spend so much time learning how to use the buttons. I kept getting confused on SMash Brothers (N64) cuz I kept forgetting how to do everything. And that games was in a supposed 2D! Oh boy... rolleyes You are lucky Luxlui! I've never even tried a Guilty Gear game. I hope the CV Fight game doesn't have poo mini-games. Only time will tell, I guess...

Now that I think about it! Are there any wii games that have minigames as an extra to the main game that aren't kinda boring? gonk Sonic and the Secret Rings was one of them! The minigames were so boring! crying If the Castlevania game does have minigames, I hope they are more like the Rayman Raving Rabbits ones! whee They're silly and fun! rofl Oooh yush Mr Kenshin! Guilty Gear games are super fun because the characters are so coolies and they are drawn so nice! crying It's a lot like street fighter really! I think you can still get some of the guilty gear games on ps2 and there is one on ds I think!

Really? A GG on DS, you say? I can't promise I'll check it out cuz I'm not sure if I'm gonna like Guilty Gear anyways, he-he. But you know, I've never tried that Rayman game for Wii. I did read a review but that's it. BTW, I'm not very familiar to games on the Wii but, thanks to some reviews I've been reading, it seems that there ARE games that have good mini games. You should try out the following:
1. Wario Ware Smooth Moves 2. Big Brain Academy Wii Degree
I can't remember any others right now... Let's hope the folks at Konami play a lot of those games so they know what to do on their game. 3nodding
