Gairus stood up and followed Kalin. "Getting drunk beyond my mind doesn't sound that bad at the moment." He said, scratching the back of his head.

Seeing the two of them come down into the cargo bay, jag affixed Blikk with an accusatory finger.
"Blikk you Di'kut! Every scratch you make from here on in is coming out of your wallet! 250 credits per meter of scarring! Consider this your warning!"
He pointed over at the pallets of cargo already stacked and directed their attention over there. "Alright, as the droids bring the cargo in hey're gonna stack it that high. I want you two to go and take binder straps and secure the cargo to the deck. Binder straps are by the turbolifts. Lets get moving!"

Kalin went over to get the straps and leant over to whisper into Blikk's ear.

Don't worry too much, he's just a softie on the inside. But don't test him.

He made a goofy inpersonation of Jag and spoke in his voice.

"Get your shebs in gear!" HAHAHA!

Kalin walked over to the pallets and started laying down the straps, making sure they were secure to the deck. 110% secure.

"Hah..that's good!" said Gairus. "Hey, you think I should record him saying something like that and make it my alarm on my datapad? It would be hilarious to wake up every morning to "Blikk! You Di'kut!"" Gairus continued following Kalin, now feeling a little better.

Well you might have to be careful with that one, mate. As long as Jag don't hear it, you'll be fine. He can be a real hard-a** one moment, and fine the next. I'm still figuring him out. Let's get this 'osik' done with and then we can get up on the bridge and do flight sims.

He continued strapping the pallets, matching the speed and efficiency of the machines.

Mareal gave a glare to Xan. If he was trying to say what she thought he was, she wouldn’t want to do that. However, he did possess the means to getting her to the next port, a very important goal to her as well. She was lost in thought longer than she realized, as Xan was still staring at her, probably getting agitated by her long pause.

“I’ll see vat I can do,” Mareal responded, drawing her bryar from her hip, and propelled herself over the canister. The bounty hunter snapped up his rifle and fired several shots. Mareal responded by propelling herself off the wall. The Force aided her, showing her the best place to attack the man without hurting him.

“Ze shatterpoint,” she whispered to herself, charging the blaster and firing at the shin of the hunter, glancing the blast off the leg armor. The pain made him drop his weapon, giving her the chance to get close enough to go up tight and personal with the Ubese. He threw a punch, she dropped her bryar to grab it.

“Hast anyone told you dat you have no compassion?” She asked him. Mareal knew that the words were mostly wasted on the hunter however. She kneeded the hunter in the groin, and gave a swift chop to the back of his neck as he fell. The hunter was stunned for a while.

“Zo, about dat ride?” She asked cheerfully.

"I need to get better at flying myself. I can fly a Y-wing, but that's about it...and not even that well, at that." Gairus said, assisting Kalin as best he could.

Xan watched the woman fly through the air. Most people would be shocked, awed, perhaps even curious as to the possibility of the events that just unfolded. The bryar was not the pistol of gunslingers; it was accurate, and efficient, but its speed was hindered by it’s large size and bulk. She didn’t even go for the other two weapons on her back either, although there was probably good reason for that. Perhaps most stunning was the fact she didn’t want to kill the man, only stunning him with a swift blow.

Xan was not like most people, however. True, he was pleasantly surprised by her skills, but his mind was made on Fondor, and it began to crunch the numbers quickly as the information came in. She had the skills to be a decent bounty hunter galaxy wide, and with her skills with the blaster, she had to learn them somewhere. They weren’t normal either.

“Why did’n’cha kill ‘im?” He asked. “Pardon meh rudeness.”

Holstering her blaster pistol, Mareal turned to look at Xan. She guessed it couldn’t be helped in this part of space in these times, people were all about bloodshed.

“Ze var taught me much about life. It’s easy to deal vith pulling de trigger. Living vith the faces aftervard, not zo much. Vhile de rest of the galaxy still lives fighting de var, I vould like to forget yabiim.”

The sadness on her face disappeared as she turned back to Xan. “But, Herr Rood, I scratched your back. I vouldn’t vant to see you live up to your surname.”

So she’s from Jabiim.

Something was slightly off. There was no accent like that on Jabiim. Of course, it had been years since the clone wars ended, though she didn’t seem to be that old. Perhaps age didn’t keep pace with her or something, but this was the fringe. People didn’t tell you the entire story, no matter who you were.

“Live up to my surname?” He asked, not getting the joke. About this time, the giant orange Akk Dog had shown up. “I guess we’ll hafta walk. Tis ting don’t like strangas.”

“You know, Rood… Rude. A play on vords. You never had dat joke played on you? I’m surprised,” Mareal said. “As for de dog, he’s just a big sveetheart, no?” She said, approaching the dog casually. It gave a growl, but she reached out with the Force just a bit, creating a few bonds. Just enough to pet the thing on the head.

“See? He’s just starved for attention,” Mareal said with a glow around her face. “Does he have a name?”

After waking Kaleb Niomie waited with all the other passengers to disembark from the ferry. Walking over to the vehicle ramp she pulled her hair back into a tight braid, buttoned up her vest against the night air as she waited for Kaleb to drive up on his bike.

“Um, I think I’ll take the helmet, the tangled hair I can live with.” She said climbing on the back of his bike. “Just don’t go as fast.”

Laura came out of the galley with a large platter covered in bantha burgers. She placed it on the table so that it'd be within easy reach of anyone sitting where she set the plates. From the sound of things below, they were still busy, but just to be sure they were aware of the time, she headed down from the crew deck.

The sounds became louder as she came closer to her crewmates. Not wanting to get in the way, she yelled, " Lunch is ready! " from afar, but still easily within earshot, and then headed back up. She realized they might still be a minute or so, and took a seat and waited. She never did feel comfortable with eating before the captain showed up. She lightly chuckled at a brief memory from long ago when one of the lazier crew members would always say she's too uptight by comparison.

Turning to acknowledge the cook, Jag looked back to his crew. "You hear that? You boys might wanna hurry up and get this loaded or the food'll get cold!"
