The game went on with Demy winning, sometimes easily, others with a narrow margin. Spence was just beginning to grow tired of the game when his mother called them to dinner. "Come on!" he quickly shut down the game, and dashed off to the kitchen table.

"Awh..."
Demy's ears flattened a bit as the game was shut down. Crud..he'd have to wait til the next time Spence wanted to play before he'd get to win again...
Oh well! Tater tots called!
"Wait for me!"
Setting down his wiitar, little Demy scrambled to his paws and went running after his friend.

"Yes, Mom," Spence grunted, walking off to the bathroom.

Demy skidded into the kitchen just in time to watch Spence walk off again.
"...Huh?"
Blinking the little one turned right back around and followed after his friend.

Spence stood at the sink washing his hands and face for dinner. Turning around, he spotted Demy. "Clean your hands so we can go eat!"

"Kay!"
Demy reached up, doing his best to wash his hands and face in the sink. Quickly finishing the boy dried off and squeaked at his friend.
"ready!"

"Lets go!" Spence nabbed his friend's paw and ran off to the dining table. Hopping into his seat, he eyed the food on the table hungrily.
"Father won't be home till late so you boys can get started."

"EEP!"
The boy squeaked, struggling to keep up with his friend as he was dragged off. Once back in the dining room Demy climbed up onto his seat and gave a happy tail wag. TATER TOTS! YAY!
"Thank you Mrs. Sparks!"

Spence helped himself to the food laid out on his plate, chowing down happily.
"You're very welcome, Demy," Mrs. Sparks smiled.

"Save room for dessert. There's cake and ice cream for later.
