Interesting, although it is difficult to hear the theory.

Malee Interesting, although it is difficult to hear the theory. This is all from memory. Basically, she's saying the book was set for kids because they can't understand something as complex as Zutara, so the Kataang-Maiko shipping in the book is for them. It's also a consolation prize for the Kataangers and Maikoain's, because Zutara would be in the series.
She then goes on the explain how close Katara and Zuko would be getting in the series, because they still have their ninja mission to do and such. She mentions something about Zuko's mom not being talked about in in the book, so that must mean she is dead, and if Zuko find's that out with Katara around, it's a good way for them to bond or something.
She goes on to say that the entire finale, Katara spends it with Zuko, probably going to argue with him about the Agni Kai he is going to have with Azula, and how Zuko saves her life then she heals him and blah, blah, blah.
I don't remember everything that she talked about, but that's some of it.
If she just put the damn transcript up on dA, things would be easier. lol

That is a good idea. The idea that Zuko/Katara was a bit too complex for kids. I mean, even Iroh ships Zuko/Katara! Nothing stronger that Iroh. rofl
From what I've seen and heard it seems like Katara just comes out and lays a kiss on Aang. Which is rather out of character for her.

Yeah, that is pretty much all she does.
Iroh reopens the Tea Shop in Ba Sing Se, which seems also odd. And Aang strolls away to the balcony [if you can count that little thing outside their kitchen as a balcony. xp ] and Katara comes up to him and he remembers their time in the Cave of Two Lovers and gets closer to his face and then she kisses him.
It pretty much ends with Aang saying it's the second best day of his life. As the first one was when he defeated Fire Lord Ozai. Yeah, uh Aang? You didn't defeat him, you subdued him. :<

Such a random ending.
Since the last two season's ended with Zuko and Katara fighting something super awesome has to happen in the end of the third season to balance that out. Something really awesome, like romantic awesome.
Maybe it will end in another quarrel, this time something like a lovers quarrel over what to eat or who's hair is more awesome (Sokka by far).

I actually like Zuko's hair. It's nice and fluffy, and really sexy. xd : though nothing beats his "The Beach" hair style. whee heart 3nodding That was bloody hot, if I do say so myself. xd [Fangirl!Artxet speaking]
*cough* Anyway!
Frollo from Hunch Back of Notre Dame went up in flames. The DUDE caught ON FIRE. We didn't see anything, but it was blantly obvious.
Clayton from Tarzan was hung from a vine execution style and you see his shadow swinging back and forth on the trunk of the tree. So come on Nick, this is DISNEY doing graphic stuff like that. Grow a flipping set and let the PG-13 rating go a little farther!

I've gotta say though, the best part of this book is...
Spoilers:
Ty Lee joining the Kyoshi Warriors. Oh, and the beginning of chapter two; Aang: "Yuck! What is this stickiness all over my face? Oh, hey Momo. I just had the strangest dream..."
XD

But anyway, Mizsweet's theory just totally rocks my world. Me and AVidZktjo were trying to figure out just what was so wrong with this book, cause it just looked fishy! and Mizsweet comes along on the SAME track we were, and takes it SO much further.
I'm finally feeling better about this entire book thing. Yes, I may just be being hopeful, like GreenifyMe says we are and that she's afraid to do anymore...but really...
I'd rather be hopeful and be in a GOOD mood about Avatar until July rather than in a depressed one, which was what a lot of us have been in up til now.
And I really don't care what happens in the book...There is so much in the SHOW itself that provides evidence for Zutara and against Kataang...and really, Aang and KAtara are completely seperate the entire finale! How is that an end to an epic romance? They still have SO much to resolve and explain...and she just kisses him out of nowhere? I mean, maybe they actually do talk before the kiss, but really, where is the climax in that?
The book makes more sense now, but that's because now I'm assured that so much has been left out...so much important development. I know it's going to be fleshed out, and that leaves me with a good feeling for Zutara to still happen.
Besides, isn't Guru Pathik coming back? I mean, wow, good way to bring up the letting go thing again!

He did it when his dad shot lightning at him, and he couldn't do it cos Katara was about to be killed. She really must mean a lot to him. And it all fits in cos of what Iroh says about having emotional balance and stuff... that part of the theory made me happy. It just... makes sense!!!
