Phantom listened to the two women outside. Inside the smithy she was giving them dirty looks inside her head. She hated it when people got so close to her mates shop when he is gone. "Hera, find out why they are down this street."

"Okay, but I you know I don't like doing this." Hera flew out the window and stoped the two women walking down the road.
(Hera is a small baby dragon.) "What are you ladys doing out here on this street at this time of night??"

"Well, best be on your way then. Sorry for stoping you." Hera flew off and went back into the Smithy. "One of them is ill and needs to get back to her place." Hera went into the room where the swords were made.

Phantom said nothing, she just looked around the room sitting down where she always did.

a little black dragon with shineing star bursts on his hide jumps from the shelf and growls at the intruder. his little fangs deadly sharp. he moves forward, just to have a peace of mettle land on his tail. he jumped up and snaped his teeth at the voice that came from the other room.

"Vein enough, i need to finish this staff.. i cant if you keep growling at things." V said distractedly, he had thrown the metal knowing it would only startle the dragon. he layed his discarded shirt to the side and began to smooth the wood, styling it so it had a beautiful spiral on the end. the carved in leaves danced with colors, makeing the staff shine from spiral top to flat bottum. he smoothed on more section then held the staff out smileing. " ah.. done." he ran his hand up the dark wood, feeling the glowing carveings as his fingers passed up the flawless staff. " it will do, now i just need to find it a decent carrier and it will be finished.." he turned his back to the doorway and studied the wall holding the leather straps.

he sniffed the air, still warry. he was happy to see Hera again, he had missed her. he said quietly. " there is a human in this shop.. i smell her."
V felt Phantom behind him, and he held the staff back for her inspection.
"what do you think love? black leather for the strap or tan..."

Vein shrugged and tugged his tail around Hera's front leg. "lets go play"

Vein smiled and bound the black leather across the staff, just below the spiral. he sat it down then walked to phantom. he leaned down in front of her and gave her a kiss on the lips, then tugged his shirt from the hook and sat next to her. he pulled some of the loose strings from it, then looked at Phantom. he smiled at her. " you are feeling better? the baby not kicking to hard or anything?"

his eyes widend with wonder as he felt it move. he could only nod, stupified at what he felt. he had never thought of haveing children... but as he looked up at Phantom he smiled. she was the only one he could see haveing a child with. he kept his hand to her stomic as he brushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear. " i feel her, she is strong.. just as her mother is.."

Vein crawled out the window and pulled himself onto the roof. he looked around conspiritaly then said exitedly to Hera. " i heard a human guy talk about another dragon! he said it was in Caves somewhere.. i wonder if it will play with us?" he tilted his head, his tail twitching with exitment. he had never heard of another dragon like them before, and if they could find it he and Hera would beable to play with it.

he coiled up and smiled plotingly. "lets get Master and Mistress to the Caves then. then we can play and they can see the pritty cave's."

V smiled at Phantom. "she will be beautiful.. but i fear for any boy who trys to date my little girl. ill have to get after them with a broom or something." he said it to make Phantom lagh, he loved the sound of her lagh.
