(We're going to take the Star's Light and go rescue Pen from the badguys.)
Syx made some cutesy noises at the kitten, and scratched the back of its ear, while her sister looked on in slight horror. "Do you realize how ridiculous you look?" Tu asked her.
"Have a heart, Tu." Syx grinned and stood up, holding the kitty in front of Tu's face, while making cutesy noises. "Comeon Tu-bear, kissy the kitty.
Tu, of course, backed up, and nearly ran into Myke and Leet. "keep it away. I don't want orange fur on my clothes." The orange fur would indeed be a pain on Tu's pristine black uniform, but the whole connection with kitties and cuteness was what really had her keeping a distance. Of all the sisters Tu was the one who abhorred their naturally cute, Shirley Temple-esque appearance the most.
Syx sighed, and took off her duster hat, plopping it onto Tu's head, because she knew how much Tu hated that hat. "Someday, someone's going to ruffle that costume of yours up, sis, and you're going to like it." Syx set the kitten on top of her own head, before walking back to Hattie and Eric. "I say the markers are an improvement." She nodded, although with care so as not to knock Kevin onto the ground.

"Then he can paint over it." She shot back, drawing a giant purple Daisy on the only silver panel that she could reach. She doodled in the petals, getting a little loopy in the head from the marker's fumes. She made a long green steam with huge leaves.
Hattie turned to watch Syx and Tu, laughing heartily at the two sisters. "Eric rumples my clothes and I love it!" She giggled at this. It was a bad sex joke, but most things around Eric's crew and her own turned into a lewd sex joke. When Syx came up to inspect Hattie's work she capped her marker. "Here, here, lover! Just deal with the Daisy." She reached atop Syx's head to pet Kevin.

Syx grinned, having intended it as an open opportunity for a sex joke in the first place. She patted the star's light. "Could use a bit of fancy art around the corners, makes the ship more special.
Tu, pulled the duster hat off her head with a tight-lipped manner, and tossed it to the side. For some it might appear she didn't like her sister, Syx, all that much. But the truth of the matter was Syx was the only person Tu would have allowed to tease her quite like that.

Hattie turned and looked longingly at her ship, the Rioreet. "Mine used to be covered in Graffiti..." She sighed and stuffed her markers back into her pocket. Her sudden sadness was gone quickly. "Your sister looks kinda blue." Hattie was feeling a bit tired again so she returned to her crate, laughing as Kevin nested himself in Syx's hair.

"If yer not on, yer gone! All aboard that's coming aboard and move it!" Jarred yelled, quickly moving into the ship, strapping himself into his seat in the cockpit. "Eric, once you lift off, sit for a minute so I can attach the G to the bottom."

Ora followed Jarred onto the ship, her hair flowing freely behind her, a feeling she had missed and enjoyed having once more. "I'm assuming this will be a quick trip."

"It's a fast ship. A damn fast ship. Once I get the lock, we'll be there in under a minute." Jarred, having not actually strapped himself in or sat down as indicated in the last post, started securing his weapons, gathering up more shells for his flak cannon, making sure his pistols were loaded. "So what do we need to do for your voodoo to work?"

"We need to be at a decent range. If we can get close enough to see the ship, I can get on the ship." Ora looked over the Star's Light closely, now that she could observe it with her natural eyes. "When we have secured the girl, we'll choose the most reasonable exit from there."

"So through things, then." He stated simply, waiting for Steube to get off work.

Ora glanced at Jarred, her face completely blank. "No. We're going to just walk across space, knock on the Erebus' front door, and when they ask who it is, we'll pretend to be girl scouts selling cookies. Don't forget to lock the Star's Light up behind you."

Syx patted the kitten on her head in an awkward manner. "So, do you like being a twin?" Hattie asked as Halise came to join them. He had his hands together as sparks of lightning and swirls of fire flickered between his hands and fingers. Hattie looked away from him and back to Syx. "I'm a twin." She said happily.

Syx let out a loud laugh. "I would have loved being a twin, but I'm a twin six times over. That's just one of the sisters, and before you ask...yes, our names reflect our number." Six turned her head and lifted up the back of her hair, showing off a fancy tattooed six on the back of her neck. "You like being a twin?"

"How many of you are there, exactly?" Hattie looked at her, tilting her head in confusion. She had never been a math wiz, not even the simple stuff. Regardless of the fact that she was a good mechanic and could build decent weapons. "I suppose I like being twin... I only just met my brother a few months ago." She smiled a little at the memory. "He resents me and Eric had to shoot him after he shot me... Cale's a bit of an a**."
