Yes, it does sound rather interesting. Wasn't there a movie made of the "Glass House"? Or am I wrong?

I also know of another good series. It's Vampire Acadamy. Of course, like the first it's about vampires. Only that in this it's from the veiw of a half-vampire girl, aka dhampir, named Rose. Her best friend, Lissa is a vampire princess, or rather moroi. Moroi's are vampires that can use magic. They're typically good. They drink blood, and also eat food as well. They tend to have a model figure as well. Moroi's are pale and have twelve royal families. Lissa, is the last of her royal families and is a bit odd with her powers. Since her power, Spirit, is not well known it is believed that she hasn't specialized in a power. She also has a strong ability to use Compulsion. A power forbiden by the Moroi's to use. Offensive magic is also considered taboo for the Moroi who are at war with the Strigoi.
Strigoi are typically Moroi who have killed the human they fed off of. Because of this they loose their magic and ability to walk out in sunlight. They're what people often think of when it comes to vampires, their eyes are red as well. They're vicious and don't often work in groups. There's only three ways to kill them: impaling them through the heart with a silver stake that's been infused with Moroi magic, decapitation, and burning them. Strigoi are also immortal, and much faster with even more heightened senses than Moroi. With each year that the Strigoi live they become more powerful, but the blood of Dhampirs and Moroi also make them stronger.
Because of this, the Moroi depend on Dhampirs to defend them.
Rose, a Dhampir, is best friends with Lissa, a Moroi. A few years earlier Rose and Lissa's family died in a car crash. Because of Lissa's power however, she was able to bring Rose back to life. So now, Rose is "shadow kissed". Rose has a connection with Lissa that allows her to feel Lissa's emotions. It also allows Rose to "enter" Lissa's body and see through her body. When ever Lissa is over whelmed with a strong emotion, Rose is pulled in despite her will. This connection only works one way though.
Yes... that was sloppily explained... sorry 'bout that. But it is a really good series.

Looks very interesting, hopefully I'll find it at the library.
A while ago, I've read the complete series: Sages of the Drenai, from David Gemmel. It's a list of stories about famous heroes. And I loved every story. The books are heroic fantasy. I don't know if you like that type of book. But I finished every book in 2 days time ^^
