Lux continued his flight unaware of the tainted ship to his right. The other fighters backed off from Jarred, focused on bringing Lux's ship back to the fleet.

Eric paused, watching the people get on the ship through the cargo ramp.
"Strap in, kids. We're leaving hot."

Syx and the rest of them shuffled into the ship. After looking around for a minute she looked over to Eric, giving him a slight salute with her hat. "Mind if I ask who you are?"

Eulalia Danae Syx and the rest of them shuffled into the ship. After looking around for a minute she looked over to Eric, giving him a slight salute with her hat. "Mind if I ask who you are?" Eric looked to Syx, and motioned for her to follow him to the bridge. Once there, he strapped himself into the pilot's seat. "I'm Eric Chase, captain and pilot of this ship. You want to strap in, because you're going to need every little miracle you can get if you want to survive this ride."

Quite a distance away, Ruby and Jeff were still in the jungle looking for the outpost. They were in a thickly jungled area, with no direct access to ships, which both protected them from attacking ships, but also kept them hidden from the rescue ship. Ruby kicked past a log, moving with swift enough ease through the area.

Eric got on the PA one more time, and shouted for any that could hear him to get on the ship.

Syx began strapping herself in. "That doesn't sound promising." She set her hat down by her feet. "Ruby is still out there, but she should have a shuttle, and Tu will be here to pick her up in time when things have cooled down. At the moment I suggest we all get out of here as fast as we can."

Eric laughed as Syx spoke.
"I'd be up there helping Jarred, but I emptied out on one of those Kore ******** earlier. Haven't had a chance to resupply." He said, firing up the ship and closing the hatch, "I've got one last ace in my sleeve, but there's less than a seventy-five percent chance of it working. The other twenty five to thirty percent ends with us dying in swift, painless fashions, most of which involving breach of core containment on the reactor and us being vaporized in fractions of a second."

Brick sauntered into the cockpit, strapping himself in, eying Syx with squinted eyes. The burly alien turned to Eric. "Friend?" "Friend. I want you to let loose on these Kore dickheads with everything we have left, then I'm turning off power to everything but the jumpdrive and the main engines. While you're shooting, I'm gonna radio Captain and Jarred, let them know what's up." "gunna actually get us killed this time, Cap'n?" "The ******** if I ain't gonna try."

Syx chuckled, "Congrats to you an' your gal, sunshine, I hope I get an invitation to the wedding." She glanced at Brick and gave him a nod.
"While you're at it, tell Jarred not to do anything stupid like take on the whole Kore and get himself killed. The computer geek kind of grows on you after a while." Syx picked her hat up from the floor and slipped it on, lowering it slightly over her eyes as she leaned back in the chair. "Let's have some fun."

"Jarred, it's Eric. I'n gonna open up and fly by you. I'm firing up the Jumpdrive. Just follow me through the opening, boyo. We're ******** outta here." Eric tapped his touchscreen furiously for a few seconds, then began speaking again. "Yo, Cap. Jarred and I are going to be Osan orbit in about thirty seconds. I need you to catch me. If this works, I'll be falling through orbit."

"Open it up and hurry!" Jarred said, cutting the accelerator, flipping the ship, gravity giving him a sudden lurch as his bearings changed, and he smashed on the gas, sending the Grushdeva back the way it came, towards the Star's Light.
Jarred quickly uploaded the Emerald Haze from the ship to the Kore pilot's suit, having already returned control of the ship to him.

The Kore pilot assumed his ship was just acting up, and gave it little notice. The rest of the group continued to the fleet, save for a two of the fighters, who instructed to make a few more sweeps on the planet to shoot down anyone who hadn't already managed to escape past the Kore forces.
Lux smiled as he boarded his ship, and passed off Pendari to the medical center to be patched up, so they could break her down later.

"Jesus!" a voice yells from the back of the ship as it kicks into gear and takes off, Myke never one to be used to flying in small crafts, although he would never tell anyone of it, was a bit upset. Not finding a chair intime before taking off he was launched slightly back but managed to seat down in the Star's Light "You know will all this wreckless flying and s**t. I know exactly what Im doing when this is all over. Im going back to the fight leagues, kicking the old fart who owns it in the teeth and taking my job back!...this is bullshit!" scream
