Izumi smiled at Shinichi when he made his little pun on her new friend's name. Izumi found it quite interesting as to why the man was so unkind to the small creature. He could so easily kill her if he wished, why not show mercy on those beneith your power? Her thoughts swirled for a moment before returning to the squirming animal in her arms. "Shh, now, you don't want the man to change his mind and eat you do you?" she whispered closely to the animal, continuing to scratch behind her ears to get her to be a little calmer. Izumi would need to make something to be able to fit as a collar for her new friend. Something pretty! Perhaps more beadwork? It seemed to be something Izumi was good with. Most of her beads she wore were presents, but she was quite good as well. Izumi sat back down on the seat she'd earlier been with Shinichi on and let the wolf just lay in her lap. She released the creature from her grasp but made sure it wouldn't be able to run off by earlier stating what the man could do. The girl wasn't aware of if it would work or not, but she was pretty sure it would do its job. She closed her eyes, taking in a deep sigh and let her shoulders relax. She was feeling a bit tiresome from all this chakra stuff she'd been forced to do the day before and all night. Too bad the girl wasn't getting it thought. Sighing, she tried to let her mind free.

Ai glared at the man when he spoke of her eating the girl that held the outgoing wolf pup in her arms. So far the kid was the only person who hadn't wanted to do something harmful to her. Well, as far as it seemed. The miniature terror had no idea what the girl really had planned for her. Maybe she'd be forced to stay on a teather attached to a house or tree like some dog. Or perhaps she'd be used to do errands or something along those lines. Snorting, she wriggled in the child's arms before freezing up when hearing the girl's voice speak of the man and his plans. When the girl sat down and released her from her prison of being held, she stayed put. Running now would probably be harmful to her health with that man and woman around. She'd take off whenever they were gone and she was no longer in harms way. Using this child as protection for now would be the best thing. But if she did make it away from the girl and she ended up running into the man or woman, she'd be in danger. Perhaps when the girl was out in the forest part or somewhere far away from these people that seemed to be abundant here. They were irritating the hell out of her, just walking by all leisurely like they were. Her eyes turned to slits as she eyed one that seemed to be getting a little too close for her comfort.

Sorri was to much pn a high to even take hid of the ending statement about the three academy students until he took him from the pedestal with talk of Ero...he was the cause of it? Sorri's eyes squinted rhn he force him self to compose and relax. His head tilted down, wanted to go and get their weapons so that his first mission would bedown...he eyes went up a few seconds later only to see that he was looking at them in disgust. Sorri's blood was crashing into its self, he could feel himself heat up with anger. He turned around and waited until Shinichi was done specking on the event between Karite, Orika, and Shisei. Sorri recalled them talking about sparring, but even including th weapons was beyond dumb...that wasn't something you learned, it had been common sense. He looked at his sensei and opened his mouth to speck then only closed it again and turned. "The more I learn about you...the more disturbed you seem...." His statment continued mentally but out of fear he had spoken the words. He began on his work to the shop, trying to clear his head. Its scary to think...someone so insane is running the village

Izumi had nothing to really do but sit there and get back what little strength she had in the first place. Not that it was physical strength she was regaining, but more...something. She wasn't sure how to describe the feeling of being sort of powerless, almost weak, but not physically. Her eyes opened for a moment to look down at see the little creature on her lap being intense towards a lady that was passing by. It didn't work, and Izumi giggled at her futile attempts before resealing her eyes and continuing to clear her mind and focus only on a single issue. Once more, like the day before, her brother crossed her mind. His geeky little smile and laugh whenever he did something right and their father praised him. Only, he'd get a smack across the head for not being 'manly' with his childish behavior of smiling like he was. It didn't ever matter to him though, he'd wait till their father was turned around or gone before rubbing it in Izumi's face that he was the one to get the praise. At this time, Izumi really didn't care and said she was happy for him before smiling herself and going back to what she was doing. Their father never praised her though. She usually took the longer way of doing things. Especially when it required hurting someone or something without it's permission into doing so.

Ai attempted a growl, but it was dissolved into her own throat due to the leather tie still around her mouth. It irritated her she couldn't do anything correctly with this stupid rope type thing on her!!! She lifted her front paw and scratched at it, slowly, it began to slip, but not quickly enough for Ai to be happy with. She then used her back leg to scratch it to fling it off. As it flew, she opened her jaw, making sure it didn't lock up before looking back towards the girl who's lap she was still sitting in. Stupid girl had her eyes closed. Ai could leap off and run away by now, but she knew better. She'd already thought about those consiquences and had decided they were too great to even attempt anything of the sorts. The human female seemed...weak. Fragile perhaps? As though, if you pushed her, she'd fall over. Perhaps it was just her physical attributes that made it seem that way. Ai had never seen a young human female before so she wasn't aware of the way they all looked. Maybe this girl was a runt? Ai was a runt as well, and she knew how it felt to be weaker than those around her. Maybe this kid knew of the same hurt? Ai snorted and turned back, finding a new thing to glare at. A fellow canine, but much bigger. Probably twice the size of the barely eleven inch wolf. Ai growled deeply towards the animal, warning it to back off before it became her new chew toy. She yelped in satisfaction when the male dog stopped and turned his course a bit to the right to stay clear of the tiny animal.

Having formerly been the type of girl to immidiately thrown a punch in her brother's face and told him to cram it before she really decided to hurt him, Izumi giggled in her silent thoughts of rememberance. Though it did depress the young Meho a bit that she'd think to even do it, it was still a fact about what she might have possibly done. Her blue eyes seemed to be looking around beneith her dark eyelids as she immagined the inside of their house. It was depressing, dusty, with crack walls and floor covered with the dung of rants. Her parents weren't the cleanest people in the world. Although, her mother did like to keep the furniture...alive to some extent and never allowed Izumi and her brother to fight inside the house. Izumi peeked through her lashes to see Ai seemingly protecting the space around herself and Izumi. She couldn't help but smile at the sight as she reclosed her eyes. It would be really interesting to see how the animal acted whenever Izumi and her became friends. Would the animal become protective of Izumi as she is with her space?

The tiny little addition to Izumi's company had her chest puffed out and her head held high, her ears errect and up front in full attention to her space around her. The vicious red color her eyes held made for an interesting look to the wolf. Angry and protective, secure in her position and ready for whatever was to come. Yet another human had started up on her space and Ai merely gave the male a sharp look as her ears immidiately shifted towards the forward coming being. The man quickly became aware that he was unwanted in the wolf's surroundings and moved out of the way to accomadate her.

Wow, Sorri must really want Shinichi as a leader. Serena really wouldn't mind so much either way, only that Shinichi was harsher, louder, and could possibly kill them. If she looked harder, though..he honestly seemed like someone that could do the job..she popped her head back up when Shinichi began to talk to them again. "Oh.ok.yes sir." She replied to his comment and then looked down to the side. He didn't seem happy with them right now..there was a 'I'm not happy' look on his face. She didn't like it at all. The Raiken could feel the guilt within herself even though there was nothing to be all guilty about. Her eyes met his again though, when he mentioned what happened with her three classmates. Serena's state of mind changed. 'Have those guys any morals? at all?' She was rather apalled at it all.
After a second of letting it sink in a bit, Serena found a piece of paper being forced into her grip. She opened it up, but it seemed that Shinichi was going to explain it anyways. They were going to go on a mission! Except it didn't seem as exciting as she thought it would be..to be given a first task. First of all, though, she and Sorri were to head to the weapon shop to pick out a weapon for themselves. She pivoted away and trailed Sorri towards the shop. "weapons..what kind of weapon do I want?" The Raiken thought of many choices she could choose from. There had to be something she would like at the shop.

Izumi thought on her new future friend a bit longer before yawning and forcing herself to get back to what it was she was supposed to be doing. She felt nearly up to speed as always, but she knew it wouldn't last very long. She still had to do what she was supposed to. And it was quite a feat for her. The still learning Meho child was still very unfamiliar with this...Chakra, and handseal things. It kind of stumped her as to why the flame haired man thought she'd be able to cope with doing it all when she'd only just gotten there and had no prior knowledge of it all. Well, it didn't matter now. She needed to finish this up quickly so she could go to his class. As much as she knew she couldn't say it outloud, it was pretty interesting. With all the different kids' personalities and relationships with eachother, Izumi found it fun to sit and watch them go about their business. The only other girl in the class, excluding herself and the Orika girl, seemed to be the quiet one of the class. The Shisei boy seemed to be a silent one as well. But with his strange appearence it was hard not to look over every once and a while to see how he was doing, same with the Karite boy and the white haired one. They all seemed to be doing their best for something that Izumi had no clue about. All she knew is she hoped they all reached whatever it was they were after. Getting back to what she was doing, she let her hands form the seal she was used to doing already. Almost instantly, she could feel the chakra ready to go in her system.

Ai snorted in satisfaction of her second attempt at scaring away the human. She was getting the hang of this. The tiny wolf was used to having to scare off other little animals, but defintely not humans or other larger canines. Raising her tiny nose in the air she tried to track the scent of another closing in victim for her next attempt. It didn't take anymore than a second or two to spot the next one. A young child it seemed. They were the worst! They'd try to pet and cuddle her if she wasn't careful. Her lips pulled back and she barred her teeth at the kid as the child grew closer. A little growl escaped her as her ears were placed flat against her head that was lowered slightly. Ai seemed to be ready to leap forward if needed to bite the child if it grew too close. The child set its course another way and Ai puffed her chest out in satisfaction. She'd once more scared away a human.

(ignore the second roll, Ai finished already)
Izumi thought quickly about what she'd want to be by looking around at the people walking around. She'd need to think fast in case the chakra she felt quickly whithered to nothing. She then decided and turned herself into a woman with brown hair that was walking by. A green shirt, black pants and high heels came with it. She smiled happily when she realized she'd done it. She'd done what she was supposed to! She could go to Shinichi's class now! Looking down at the her little companion as the puff of smoke encircled her body to reveal the normal her, she giggled, "Hey, I finished...! Isn't that great...?" Her arm wriggled beneith the tiny wolf's body as she stood. It had taken the girl a lot longer than she'd hoped, but there was nothing she could do about it now. Izumi had finished, that was all that mattered. The only thing the girl hoped was that there wouldn't be another thing they'd have to do that would require the same chakra need. Yawning, the girl used her free hand to rub the tiredness from her eyes. She hadn't slept that night, but she couldn't sleep now. It was daylight and she had a day's full of work to do. Finding clothes to keep her warm, something for herself and the wolf to eat, and somewhere to sleep... She still had a bit of the fruit left back beneith the boat, but she wasn't sure a wolf would like to eat fruit.

Ai made a bit of surprised yelp when she felt Izumi's hand grasp her and cuddle her close to her body. It was cold, but Izumi's body was warm so the wolf didn't struggle as much as she could have. The girl must be cold too since she didn't have nearly enough fur on her body as Ai did. She'd freeze in the forest if she were to live there! Ai snorted as she shifted her head away from the girl's face and looked towards the people still around them. Where was this girl going to lead her now? Ai hoped it wouldn't be towards one of those buildings that she could be locked inside of. That would be horrible! Being locked inside a room with no way of escaping...That would be what that woman or man would do to her, but would this child? Ai's blazing red eyes looked upwards again to look at the chin of the child that held her so gently in her arms. No, she wouldn't do it. She seemed too stupid and kind.

Dhan had left his precious blade in the care of the village smith for long enough. It was his greatest strength and without it, his weakness but a blunt weapon is only so useful and it had not been cared for since before he was brought to the village, far too long. He was here simply to retrieve the weapon that was a part of him or atleast the beasts grip on his mind was. The fire of Tomoko's shack had burnt itself out and now he was as cold as before, he planned to come to the village take his weapon and find some poor creature to hunt, oh how he wished it could be one of its pathetic villagers. The thought of devouring human flesh again did nothing to help his hunger he'd make do with whatever he could hunt. He doubted anything roamed around that he could not hunt, after all he had hunted the greatest prey, man many times. As he made his way to the weaponsmith he took little notice of the people hanging around especially the younglings. Which was probably why he failed to notice the young Meho girl that had recently arrived in the village and had very easily managed to avoid him. He himself would have been hard not to notice, The warrior towered over the villagers and still had the look of just coming out of a fight for his life and still yet had failed to get ahold of some winter clothes. His eyes met with Shinichi he did notice that him, after all one tends to notice someone looking for an excuse to end them. He knew the other was the stronger one and that was why he kept his hate filled eyes on him.

Yes, he was disturbed. Crazy. A psychopath. Shinichi could never understand why anyone could bear to be around him, much less fall in love. The ANBU shuddered at the thought. Only idiots failed to see past his rank and thus mistook him for someone decent. Unless that idiot was Ichi. Somehow, he was always the exception. Shinichi shook his head out, stamping his feet to keep warm while he gobbled down his udon. No sense in wasting time. To be honest, he was no better than Dhan, most likely even worse in some cases. There had to be a reason that cannibal popped into his head. Could it have been the putrid stench of blood that flooded the village square all of a sudden, that hating glare that someone directed at him? Shinichi sneezed and turned his head slowly around to meet Dhan's fiery eyes. The man was probably just a teensy bit upset that he had destroyed his hut. Just a little bit. Shinichi finished his meal and got up to greet the destroyer. He coldly returned Dhan's glare and irritably said, "Are you not planning on lasting the winter, beast?" Shinichi pointed at Dhan's clothing, "Tokiha Mai has some garments she'll throw away to you. Be on your best behavior or I'll skin you alive. That's a promise," he spat. There was a short pause before Shinichi's face softened, just enough to perhaps not scare the living daylights out of a child. Didn't mean he couldn't scare what was left, though. "Dhan-san," Shinichi addressed, putting on his game face when his little tirade was done, "Why are you still on Shimagakure? So far you haven't made any attempt at murdering Tomoko, but you're not doing much else either. I need to know where your loyalties lie." Point brought up, what did Dhan do in his spare time? He didn't seem to be getting any stronger and he certainly wasn't decimating too much of the village population. As a person whose every minute was busy with one item or another, Shinichi couldn't understand laziness, especially coming from a former warlord, and such a powerful one too. Dhan made a powerful ally that the man was reluctant to lose, not matter how brutish he was.

Dhan twitched, noticeably at the sound of Shinichi's voice. It was for the same reason as the hatred. He was a reminder of Dhan's lack of power. In his own world he was unstoppable, the destroy, the butcher of Haha! But in the world of the Shinobi he was just another soldier. One without a war. " I don't care what the b***h has! " An outburst warranted by the disgust of the thought that he needed the help of one of these pathetic villagers. He wasn't that outclassed by these Shinobi. "I am a beast after all... " He enjoyed the acknowledgment of his lack of humanity. Even if his strength was not a fear of Shinichi, his reputation was, atleast to those he protected. "I'll take what I need from some weaker animal" He continued as he motioned towards the weapon smith. It was obvious what he meant as the sight of the animal without it's fangs was an unusual one. The question of loyalty struck him, he was a sleeping beast waiting to strike and Shinichi atleast suspected that he was not only waiting to strike his sister... He ran a blood caked hand through his hair to remove it from his field of view so that he could look him in the eyes proper. He was fearful of what this man could do to his plans, but he would not show it. "I can't very well kill someone who isn't here" He almost mocked Shinichi with the quite truthful statement. "This place is the best lead I have... IF she doesn't return then I will leave to track her down." He continued with what seemed like the obvious plan of action. " From the sounds of things you want her dead as much as me, dont' suppose you know where she ran off to?" He flashed those fangs of his in a rather devilish grin, he found great amusement in the idea that even here in her knew home she had enemies. He had very purposely worked his way around stating his alliance because the truth was he had no intention of serving the village. He would burn this place to the ground before the end.

"No, I don't know," Shinichi replied, adding in a deep growl to show he meant business, "Are you saying you waited all this time just to kill her? Spare me, b*****d. Even you wouldn't be so idiotic laying in the land of your enemies stalling an easy kill. I'd think you would have at least attempted to murder her." The ANBU's eyes suddenly grew wider as the tiniest, cruel grin surfaced. Things suddenly made sense. "Big, bad warlord you are! Can't even murder a supposedly inferior woman? Tch! She's weak compared to the real masters of war. How will you ever be able to conquer lands with that lack of power?" He cracked his knuckles together, remembering that Dhan never announced his allegiance, meaning that he still had a chance to win the man over to Shimagakure's side. If Shinichi couldn't do it by words, he would use force, simple as that. But he'd rather not add more scars to the beaten Meho... at least for now. "Tomoko will return for sure. It's not like she's away to sell our secrets," He hoped that wasn't the case, but there was nothing he could do but defend his village against her when the time came. It occurred to Shinichi that this was Tomoko's village as well and thus, he had a duty to protect her. Well, at least he had to not kill her himself! "I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse," Shinichi boldly declared, "I'm willing to offer you the basic necessities on Shimagakure, participation in every battle we come across, training to have a chance at killing Tomoko, and your life in return for your temporary loyalty to Shimagakure, terminating when you complete your task. You've been taking up resources, worm, so you've got to pay back somehow. I'd like to see you pay with your life, but you're still of some use to me."

It didn't take much to catch Izumi's attention as the other, larger, dark skinned figure appeared on the scene. Almost instinctively, Izumi hid herself away, quietly masking her presence among the other people walking around. It seemed she was not what the man was after...for now. It seemed the flame haired man didn't get along well with him, not that Izumi could really blame the man. Her clan was a bit on the harsher side of reality. She walked as quietly as her tiny, inexperienced body could to listen better for what the two men could be talking about. The girl's long haired seemed to wind around her body as she hid herself away behind an older man talking with his wife. She wasn't really paying any attention to them though, her gentle eyes were transfixed on the two men and their very course talk of eachother and the woman named 'Tomoko'. As curious as the young Meho was about this woman, she couldn't help but want to continue overhearing what to the men were speaking of. Izumi knew she was stupid to try though, with the curious color of her skin, long hair and bright eyes, it wouldn't be that hard to spot her. So she ended her attempt at hiding, but continued to keep her silence.
The tiny black fur ball kept silent as well in the girl's arms, feeling the tension between the males seemed to keep the animal silent for once. It's eyes seemed to blaze with the temptation of biting the red haired figure, but her nose seemed to catch something before she could continue on with her thought process. The scent of the man speaking with him held the same slight hint that this Izumi girl did. Were they blood? Speaking off, the man seemed to wreek of the stench. He'd most likely never taken a bath of any sort. Ai couldn't help but sneeze and shake her head from left to right and rub her nose against the girl's arm in attempt to clean the smell from her nostrils. Sadly, it didn't work and the little monster growled a bit from irritation. It's eyes clearly showed it had no intention of fighting the figure with the disgusting smell. It was even worse than the red haired man. The beastly male seemed to smell of something rotten not even a wolf would take a piece of, and that's saying something.

Did he honesty think this offer would suddenly convince him to throw himself at Shinichi's feet and declare his loyalty? There was no way that offer would make him give up his mission, but he would pretend so. He would continue to play the good guest until the time was right and now as a bonus he would be quite comfortable why he was here all he had to do was give Shinichi a promise of loyalty for the time being? Too easy. " Well if you put it that way... You've got yourself a Berserker to command. " He stated with the utmost truth, he would serve them until his time here was over, then the next time they would meet would be on the battlefield. The village and its secrets would be claimed by the Meho before the end. Just the thought of Shinichi's headless corpse layed out before him was enough to fill his face with unnerving grin of his. " So then o' great leader... What is your command? " He spoke almost mockingly because he saw not a leader standing before him but another soldier, a weapon. The man was lost without his precious kage. A soldier left to hold the line on his own.

Shinichi rolled his eyes at Dhan's pathetic attempt to sound subservient. He wasn't looking for a dog that would follow his every order, just someone to fight for the village. It had seemed a good, fairly loose deal to the ANBU. After all, Dhan didn't lose anything; Shinichi would only send him on missions that would suit the berserker's taste for murder. In fact, Shinichi probably lost the most out of this deal, having to actually defend Dhan's life now. But it was all worth it for another soldier on the battlefield that was the entire world. Shinichi felt a warm surge from the inside for negotiating Dhan's loyalty, if only temporary. He'd like to think he was on the right track. Still, he would be careful and not give Dhan anything he didn't need to know, always keeping watch on the Meho as he surveilled everyone else. "Just go take care of yourself. The temperature will drop tonight enough to kill an ice demon, much less a half naked mongrel like you. I order you to move into one of our apartments. I'll leave the choice up to you whether to dress appropriately or not." Shinichi nodded and began walking towards the academy, always keeping Dhan in the corner of his eyes in case the crazy warrior decided to attack. After a few paces, he stopped and cocked his head back. "As long as your mission does not interfere with Shimagakure's safety, do what you will. If it does, you'd be better off dead than suffering through what I'll do to you." With that, Shinichi cockily turned and sprinted to the academy, never wanting to waste a single moment merely walking.

Izumi kept her bright eyes on the two men in complete speachlessness. She was scared if she made herself known to them they'd eat her alive, not that she wouldn't put it past her own people, but still. Her hold on the tiny creature in her arms tightened a bit as she looked down to her. "Ai, try to be good okay? That way we won't be punished for anything." The small bodied Meho child attempted to keep her voice below a mouse's whisper as she backed away a bit. Taking a step back, she slipped, causing her to fall down and slam her behind into the snow. "Ow..." she groaned in her chime-like voice as she released Ai to stand up and dust herself off from the snow that clung to her beads and skirt. Her eyes widened a bit as she turned her head to make sure she wasn't noticed by Dhan, if he were to see her like nothing more than a weak little child who couldn't even stand on her own two feet, what possibilities there were to what he'd think to do to get her to be something more, or to get rid of her all together... Her blue eyes then shifted downwards to try to spot the tiny little black puff ball that was Ai.
Ai growled at the two men as she nipped at the air before her. She couldn't reach the ground to go bite them, not that she was sure enough of her own abilities or pride to go do so. But, if given the chance, and she was about 5 times bigger than she was now, she'd have defintely gone and done it! All the had to do was wait, in a few years she'd be huge! Like her mama! Ai's ears lowered as she thought of her mama and her fellow littermates. Had they even realized she was gone yet? Or would her mama not even look for her? Ai shook her head to rid her tiny head of the thoughts just in time to feel the girl who held her tighten her grip around her and speak. Not that she even listened to the girl, what reason was there to do so? The wolf merely kept her red eyes on the man sprinting away and the man standing still. She released a small yelp as she felt herself heading down to the ground and fall into a tuft of snow. Popping her head out from the surface, she shook her head to get the snow off her face. Her fluffy ears stood straight up as she looked around to see what the cause of her fall was, it was the damn girl! She'd fallen for some reason. Stupid child. The wolf then returned her attention on her object she'd been locked on before, the man with the bad scent. Her tiny little growl was released as she stepped away from the man and closer to the tinier Meho. Ai didn't wanna be too close to someone who could probably drop kick her a couple dozen feet.
