"Eh? It's going to corrupt my mind. Please, if you can, try to limit me to ten or so bars in the span of two hours." He'd sigh and rub the back of his neck with his free left hand, giving her a nervous smile. "It's not the pain in my stomach I'm worried about, it's the fact that the natural aphrodisiac in this stuff has an effect humans couldn't even dream of on me. It makes me want to kill and kill and kill, bathe in their blood and..." His face would go read and he'd take another bite of his chocolate, speaking as he'd chew. "Ish maks ma rull hernee." He'd then nod and twirl his scythe next to him, looking around. "So's the front door our best bet, Nimm?"

She nodded in response to making sure he didn't eat too much chocolate, kind of tilting her head a bit as she tried to make out teh muffled part of what he said. It took her a moment of repeating it in her head before it made sense. She figured it best not to address that issue and instead looked to teh door as he mentioned that as their escape route. She checked the clock again, then tried to map out in her head where the cops would be. "I don't know any back ways out other then a window and a fire escape."

"That so?" He'd take another bite from his bar, halfway finished by this point. He'd sigh and look to Nimm, then to the door. "Well, I still got things that need to be done here. So, you may want to just hold tight n' be ready to run in any given direction." He'd offer her a quaint little smile, then finally toss the scythe, sending it sailing to the door in, and out. The three blades would crash down right in between the arch of the door and Singe would simultaneously toss his bar of chocolate in to the air and pull his black book from his coat...and finally catch the bar in this mouth. He'd flip straight to the page he needed and spit the bar from his mouth only to have it landed gently on the table. He'd bite open his left thumb and create the needed symbol directly on his right hand, which on turn would send a wave of fire down the chain of the scythe to the door, and finally end by creating a wall of flame to barricade the only way in and out.
"If you want to make this all a bit quicker, you can help me look for my little book. This should be the H.E.C.'s largest archive, or at least to my knowledge, so it'd make sense to store ancient literature on Earth here. I'm looking for a specific forbidden text called the 'Necronomicon,' or in other names 'The Grand Grimoire.' Find it n' I'll reward you, but I refuse to leave without it." With that, he'd yank the chain and force it to wrap around his arm once more, catching his scythe in his right hand and resting it on his shoulder once the chain came to an end. He'd jump back to the "N-Ne" section of the library, and begin either tossing or putting books back as he frantically searched.

Nimm stood to watch as the barrier was created. 'Why would I have to run?' she wondered briefly then looked to Singe as he explained about the book. "The Grand Grimoire...." she paused a moment in thought, going over to a different section to look. She ran a finger over the spines of a few books as she scanned the titles, running through her head where else it might be. "A book like that....I wonder if they would put it out in plain sight?" she stopped and looked around. "Does HEC know what the books about?" she asked.

"The H.E.C. wouldn't have any idea of it's contents, and even if they did, they'd simply, laugh it off. But, it wasn't some random jackass in the H.E.C. that put the books in this library...it was Kain. Both books are nothing more than playthings for wannabe mages, but he knows full well their true value." He'd sigh, trying to figure out what Kain would do. He always figured that there were two options in hiding valuable things: Either in the basement of a castle, specifically his own, or right in plain sight. Still, even he wasn't dumb enough to put books like those on the shelves...he'd then form a grin on his face.
"Nimm, look for a book for me that ought too look far to bland for it's title: 'Raziel.' If you find it, please give it to me." He'd then rub his temples. "It should be in section...1522! Dunno what the hell category of books that is, but this 'Raziel' book will be there!"
He'd then begin to rack his brain as he'd tear his own little black book, officially his own personal grimoire from his coat and placing it on the table. "All right, Razial...seraphim; said to be the 'Angel of Truth' as well as speech, which mine as well as mean this guy's the Metatron as well..." He'd fall back in to a seat and remove a feathered pen form his sleeve, tapping it against the table as he flipped to a blank page in his book. Hebrews reference him as an Erelim...why the drop in rankings?" He was getting frustrated. he knew Kain loved puzzles, mind games, and combining these with religion just made his damn day. What messed with him the most was the fact he couldn't recall these thoughts form Kain's own memory...meaning the barrier seperating Kain and Singe's mind was growing stronger. This was both good and rotten... "Nimm, have you found it!?"

Her idea that the book would be kept with the private records was dashed away when Singe told her where to look. With a nod she headed to that area of books and scanned the spines once again. 'Raziel.....' she listened as Singe read from a different book, mentioning teh drop in rank. 'I thought he was an archangel?' she shook her head. "Wasn't it cause he lost his book, or gave his book to Adam and Eve?" she asked, wondering if that was why his title was changed.
Her finger grazed over the spine of one book, old and tattered, with no name on the spine, or at least there was but it was old and worn down. She stopped and pulled the book out. It looked to be white, or light brown at one time or another. "I think I did." she walked back and handed it to Singe. "Is this it?"

"The drop in rank I speak of is only in literary sense; Hebrew and Christian cultures simply title the same damned thing differently. To the Jewish, the highest tier of celestial being are called the 'Seraphim," while the Christian culture dubbed them the 'Arch Angels;' the vanguards of Heaven. Depending upon which book you read, though, this Raziel character's rank differs from Seraphim to a lowly Cherub." He'd chuckle a bit, slowly deciphering Kain's little codes.
Once she'd hand him the book he'd shake his head. He'd open the book, seeing only religious ramblings. "He used the same code twice..." He'd flip through the book and rip out the fifteenth page, and flip once more and rip out the twenty-second page. He'd line them up side by side and then rip both wrists open, allowing blood to poor all over both pages which in turn would reveal gold lettering. "In pectus pectoris of Deus. In the heart of God." He'd laugh and sit back in the chair, putting his feet up on the desk. "All right Nimm, where's the biggest bible in this place?"

"Reference, eh? Well all right then." He'd jump to his feet and grin, activating his cursed eye to help locate and lock on to the bible. His grin would spread and he'd even chuckle a bit as he dashed from her at sonic speeds, quickly returning with both the book - and glass - in his hands. He'd set the bible down and quickly start ripping the small splinter-like shards from his hands.
"1522 was an easy one - according to scholars, or even the proclamation of the being whom supposedly put this book together, dated it's birth to be in 1522." He'd open the bible and chuckle while shaking his head. "See? Easy as cake...which really sounds good right now." As the bible opened it'd reveal a hollow center with a black book bound and wrapped in black leather, rather large it's own self. He'd remove it from the bible and tuck the book away in his coat and finally snatch the half-melted chocolate bar from the table and eat the rest. "All right, I got what I wanted. Anything else we need to do before they figure out they can put out the fire?"

Nimm shook her head, though there was a book in her hand the had grabbed earlier. "No I don't think so. The fire escape is toward the back, through a storage room. But the window in teh kids section opens up to teh back of the building."

"That so?" He'd grab his scythe and smile, twirling it vertical a couple of times before letting it go, sending it through the roof. The blades would latch on to the roof itself and he'd tug on the chain to make sure he wasn't going to screw up his half-assed thief-tastic heroics. He'd grab Nimm around the wait, and with a jerk of the chain he'd used brute strength to force them in to the air. They'd break through the ceiling via his back smashing through the ceiling in order to shield her, and he'd immediately retract his scythe and jump to the nearest roof with Nimm still in his arm before finally setting her down.
"I'd love to see them follow us now! Hell, bring on the helicopters!" He'd cackle a bit, then wince. "********, ma back..." He'd shake it off and fully retract the chain and grab the base of the scythe and again rest it over his shoulder. "So, now were convicts. They'll see us on those ********' cameras and deem us criminals. Ready to live a life where you're very, very popular?"

Nimm couldn't help but squeak a bit as Singe grabbed her then took off through the ceiling. Once on the roof she let out a breath, realizing she had held it. "Are you alright?" she asked, taking note that he did in fact break through the ceiling with his back. "As far as being a convict goes, I don't see how thats any different then usual, save for the fact they actually look for convicts." She moved and tucked the book she brought in her pocket. "What about you? Do you have a problem with it?"

"I can't say it's anything I'm not used to, but to be a bit less melodramatic, no I don't think it'll phase me." He'd slam the scythe against the ground, forcing the three blades that made up the scythe to disappear, leaving only three black rings. He'd place the staff on the back of his neck and hang both arms over it, then look to her with a grin. "Policemen and their guns will simply be the knew angry villagers and their torches! Quite frankly, I welcome a bullet to a burn...but, keep in mind: I promised you that you'd never feel that pain again. It's not something I intend to go back on."
He'd look to the sky, then to the library. He'd let out a deep sigh feeling rather sympathetic for the building and what he'd had to do, almost willing to offer a prayer for the building. He'd then turn back to Nimm, chuckling a bit. "This does put a hamper on our plans of a peaceful home, though...so where to now? Damn friend of yours probably still has my crystal..."

Nimm smiled and nodded, happy that he remembered. She looked to the forest as he mentioned Rayvn. "Probably, but she's probably still with Ishado as well." she pointed out. Looking around she enjoyed the view from the roof, she liked being high up and able to look out at everything. "I have a feeling the woods will be occupied with cops come morning, once that tape is looked over." After a moment pointed off to the distance, down a road that went out of the city. "That's the way to the place I wanted to show you. It's my old house actually. Where I use to live."

"It's a ways out...still, they'll identify you. They'll look for you everywhere obvious, and somewhere you're lived is the...best...place..." He'd chuckle a bit, slowly sagging his head until he'd grab is face with his right had and grin until he'd finally erupt with laughter. He'd kneel down and rip the Grand Grimoire from his coat and slam it down, quickly looking through it's contents.
"I went through all the trouble to find this thing, so I mine as well use it!" He'd stop on one specific page finally. He'd stand up and raise his right hand, forcing the book to levitate before him. He'd quickly scan the contents, then used his cursed eye to look about the area, specifically towards Kain's castle. He'd finally pinpoint Ishado and Ravyn, as well as a random woman surrounded by flame. He'd lock on to the orb Ravyn had so kindly taken with her and grin as his left hand would shoot out, and in turn his fingers shooting all the way to her. They might even pierce though her, given he was simply grabbing the orb from her possession and taking it. "That solves that problem." The unholy book would hover in place as he took his staff from his back and placed the orb in the grove, causing the staff to turn an obsidian shade and the orb to spin in place. He'd then leap back in to the library and smack the orb against the ground. Instead of shatter, it'd let off a thick cloud that'd spread through the library and quickly begin to encroach upon the rest of the area. He'd leap back out and land gracefully next to Nimm with the staff resting on his shoulder.
"We don't need to worry about a damn thing. The moment they breath in that tainted air, we'll be the least of their worries. If if someone managed to catch the tape, they'd forget all about us." He'd snicker as he used his left hand to snap the book shut and place it back in his shirt. "So. Now we can go wherever you like and it seems you've your heart set on your old house! So, by all means, lead the way!"
