"I said...Cat...I like you." he didn't want to repeat himself, and so he slowed his words a bit. He patted her arm in the gentlest way, and gave her a couple quick rubs. "I kinda started us off on the wrong foot, but you're a good friend. It means a lot to me, and I think Justtyn that you came back here. Thank you." He extended a friendly hand shake, actually smiling a little.

Cat smiled a bit. "And here I thought you just saw me as annoying and thick headed." She shook his hand. "I agree with you thought that we didn't excatly have a good fist meeting."

"Well...it happens." Izaak replied. He couldn't stop thinking about Tori. Was it so easy for him to brush off guilt without even attempting to make things right? He hadn't even known about the kissing. It would be better if he didn't know that kissing a pretty girl made him have no shame, because that would easily tell Izaak that Tori wasn't in love with Cat, but rather he just has an infatuation with her, and used her company to build a neurosis so he could forget his problems. He knew a relationship like that, if built, wasn't going to last long at all. He knew he could just wait patiently, and the chance would come again for Tori and himself. He wasn't going to be so easy this time, though. He would teach Tori a lesson to set him right before he deemed Tori worthy of taking. he smiled devilishly at the thoughts of it all. It was Justyn's knowledge seeping into Izaaks sometimes sick mind--a frighteningly terrible mix. In the end, it would probably make things just a little better, though.

Cat blinked, noting the smile on Izaak's face. "You okay, you look like your plotting?"

"The most dangerous mind is the one that is always plotting. It also ensures your own safety." He gave her a look. "You'll come to learn things about me. The first: I'm always plotting."

Tori knocked on the door, looking at the ground. He had to rightfully apologize. And see Justyn. If he could examine him first hand, he may have been able to do something. Turbine was apprehensive. Big lug seemed to hold some sort of feelings for Pops, but it was obvious that Pops cared for Pretty Lady more...

"Ahhh...That must be Tori." He slowly opened the door to let him in, saying nothing. He sat back down, and suddenly was quiet. The path to the door to Justyn's own personal area was in the line of sight of Izaak. He was going to get stared down harshly if he even thought of crossing, however, there was left open a seat, ungaurded. Kind of a feeling of safe, nuetral grounds in which to step.

"Izaak, i need to apologize." Tori said, sitting down. "I never contacted you during the construction of the Roost, I never came to visit Justyn... Then I didn't have the decency to break up with you properly. At the time I went with you, I was confused and scared and I needed support drastically. Support you gave me." He sighed, setting his hand on the floor, and runnbing his fingers through his short hair. "The problem is... I'm sorry, Izaak. I just..." he shook his head. "I was an a**. But I've... I've been infatuated with Cat almost since we met, and that hasn't gone away. I was afraid of being with a woman because they may be afraid of what I really am..." he pointed at his ears, "And I felt that men wouldn't be like that." He shook his head. "I'm so sorry for misleading you, Izaak."

"You..." he said, letting his arms flop down on the table with a soft bang. "Love should not know the bounds of gender...Okay, so you think you're better off with women, but damnit! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!" His voice was raised, but not to the extreme--just slightly. "Tori...I think I've fallen in love...I can't stand to see it go like this."

Tori sighed. "Izaak, I hate hurting people." he said softly. "I care about you a great deal. But... I..." he held up his hands. "If I went back with you... I'd only be pretending."

"You're pretending when your with cat!" he replied in a normal voice, but showing his emphasis. "Look, I'm not saying this to allow for a relationship between me and her, or even my brother. I just...don't see it as working too well. I mean, you said some pretty deep things to my brother, and he really felt it, and he was crushed to think hed ruined things, but now you've forgotten him so quickly in the mess that I don't really think you're capable of love. it was cruel. And the one possible reason that he might've broken up with you was to at least try to be with cat, or save her from a bad relationship, and now that he's asleep, or 'out of the way' you just...what? jump all over the opportunity for cat? Is that how it is? I think you're just after her looks."

Tori's face flamed with anger, and he rose, ready to punch Izaak in the face. He reigned himself in, though, and instead walked to the door. "I'm sorry, Izaak. But if that's the way you feel about things... I can't stay, or I might hurt someone." he left. Just after her looks. repeted over and over in his mind as he walked outside. Then, suddenly, he seemed to vanish. Ciren carried him away, bounding along, her ears now metallic and her claws as well. "The Doctor wants to saee you." she said, her voice clipped.

"What a coward..." Izaak said. "Love is a battlefield, but by no means is love fought for physically." He thought to himself why he would do such a thing. It was stupid. He was threatening someone bigger than him Izaak could take him easy, and put a good hurting on him. But he was stronger than even that: He just wasn't going to fight at all. He refused to raise a single fist in the name of love. He got up and went after Tori. "STOP RUNNING FROM YOUR PROBLEMS!" he called out. He looked in a sweep. He was gone. Was he in that much of a hurry? Izaak wasn't going to stop there: This wasn't over. Tori would stop being a baby if Izaak had to make him by force. That was something more worth fighting for. As old as he was, he wasn't yet caught up in mind or heart with his body. Maybe that's just one thing about staying so young: Maybe they never DID mature like others. maybe that, too, was slow. He chased in the direction he thought most leading.

Ciren stopped when she heard the call, and Tori took his chance. "IZAAK! HEEELP!" he called, atop a building by now. "Silence, fool boy." Ciren said, clapping a hand over his mouth. It was too later of course, but he ran for the HEC building.

Izaak gasped. "TORI!" He felt a scare so deep in his stomach he thought he would be sick. He thought of crying. But he shook himself out of it. "I just DARE you to come here, ugly b***h!!!" Izaak said, indicating the hideous thing with the shiny metal ears and such. He grinned devilishly at his foe: What coward would turn away a direct challenge?
