Soren looked into the container. "Nice. You want any salt with that? I've got a heart attack's worth." He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a handful of salt packets. "I take one or two from every fast food place I go, but I never end up using most of 'em."

"Actually, I'd blame my mom's cooking attempts. She's getting better, but the ingredients are still questionable. It took us a while to convince her that not all mushrooms are the same." He stretched and sank into his seat as he put the salt packets away.

Kia shook her head at them all listening. Humming to herself she sat up as the lights started to go out. She was completely compared to run out of the theatre just in case. More people filed in as she watched the preview that in her opinion was one of the best parts of going to see a movie.

"The only reason they put up previews in movie theatres is that they hope when we come out, we'll buy more tickets to see another movies.

Ren popped a piece of licorice into his mouth. He shifted the bag to Kia.

Kia smiled and took a piece, "Thank you." she whispered taking a bite. After a while through the movie Kia had already dug half moons into her palms. All it took was one tiny jump scene for her to squeek and rise from her seat trying to get to the stairs.

Ren put his arm across Kia's seat.
"You're not going anywhere."
While trying to look cool and composed, Ren could feel himself a bit on edge.
"Just a movie... Just a bloody frelling movie..."

Kia shot them both looks that could kill before settling down and just staring at the screen. She was somewhat shut down now just there but somewhere else.

As soon as the theatre lights started dimming and the screen flashed on, Soren's entire persona changed. He was very still, staring intently at the screen, even during the previews. The expression on his face didn't change much throughout the movie and he didn't even notice when Kia tried to leave the auditorium.

Hector's eyes remained looking at the screen, looking over at Kia every once in a while, making sure she wasn't freaking out or something.

Kia stared at the screen silently, she wasn't even blinking. She was officially off into some unknown place just thinking before coming back to life and standing again forcing her way back down the stairs and into the hall eventually out of the theatre.
