"Anzu-san, get off him..." Ryou spoke lightly, fighting down laughter.
(I hope it's okay that Ryou knows some Egyptian, since his father is in Egypt a lot, and Bakura was bound to teach him something. If not, I'll remove it.)
Ryou looked at Atemu, cocking his head to the side. He was annoyed at being laughed at. "I am not to be taken lightly," he spoke in Egyptian, only slightly faltering in his speech.
He knew just enough to speak in a conversation, although he was quite fluent in curse words and insults via Bakura.

((I personally see nothing wrong with it. ;3 It'll be more fun.... and allow Atemu to talk. XD (Though I admit, his inability to is fun in itself.) Plus, the thought of Ryou cussing out genetically enhanced!Atemu amuses me greatly. XDD))

Jounouchi looked at Bakura surprised, "You know Egyption, Bakura?" Before he waited for a reply, he saw the hurt look on Anzu's face, "Anzu, he just returned and Atem doesn't seem to remember much if anything. He attacked Yuugi." he said, gesturing to the boy in his arms, "But now it seems like Atem slightly remembers things. We should discuss this at the Game Shop so we can bring Yuugi home to rest anyway."
Anzu didn't know how to feel about this. Ever since he had left she had been hoping for Atem to return and sweep her off her feet. Now he had returned, but instead he had winced in her embrace. She looked at him, "Atem... is this true?"
"He doesn't remember Japanese, Anzu." Jounouchi interupted, then sighed, "Let's just go."

"Oh, that's pretty cool. How come you never told us?" Jounouchi smiled as he started heading towards the game shop.

Seto watched from a distance, throat tightening.
It was stupid- Atem was back, but remembered nothing, or so it seemed. He could barely remember Bakura, and although he seemed clear on Jounouchi, he was mostly lost on Mazaki. And they had all been either very close friends with him, or- in Bakura Ryou's case- someone he had to watch closely.
So he, as a rather plain rival (past life or no, and always one of those to help in the end- except with Pegasus, where he caused quite a few problems) was just someone pestering him.
And so he'd be lucky if Atem would even remember seeing his face, let alone anything about him. He shook his head, and left for class. He'd forgotten everything there anyway.
|| Seto's currently more worried about Atem, and the others are afterthoughts, but that'll change, not to worry. ||

Jounouchi heard footsteps in the distance and remembered that Kaiba had been there, 'Funny, for once I completely ignored him instead of the other way around. Then again, he didn't say anything to us... I wonder if Atem would recognize him since Kaiba had a past life too?'

Atemu was shocked by Ryou's reaction, both his sudden switching of languages and the seriousness of his tone. He nodded his recognition, not knowing how much Egyptian the boy would understand. But at least it might be an oppurtunity to learn some japanese from him.
Anzu had also spoken to him, and although he couldn't understand her words, she looked rather hurt. But Jounouchi had begun to speak to her, and he just hoped that Jounouchi would explain the situation. Then Jounouchi turned around to look at the nearly forgotten third boy that had joined them earlier. Atemu looked at him as well.
Kaiba Seto. It was another name that had come to him as quickly as Jounouchi's. They had definitely been close, but Atemu couldn't seem to discern whether his emotion for the brunette had been friendship or hate. It was almost and odd combination of the two. He really couldn't remember anymore than that.

Jounouchi realized that Atem had looked in the same direction as he had been. "Uh, Bakura, mind explaining to Yuu... Atem who are friend is over there?" he asked with a smirk, pointing his thumb towards Kaiba. Strangly enough, ever since their dueling days had ended (not that Jounouchi didn't still duel; it was just not in life-threatening situations anymore) he had felt more level-headed around Kaiba, loosing his temper less often and once in a while even coming up with smart remarks to counter Kaiba's.

The man may have been a tight-a**, but that didn't mean his ears were always closed. He turned his head, eyes narrowed. That didn't make much... sense. He turned completely, one hand against the wall.

Atemu listened to Ryou's explanation. But it didn't really explain the emotional confusion he was experiencing. Ryou had told him, however, that Kaiba had been a rival to him before, as well as in his past life. His past life. He was going to have to ask someone about that, maybe when Yuugi woke up.
Yuugi!
He looked worriedly at the boy in Jounouchi's arms, who was still unconcious. They still needed to get him home.

((Well, I guess this is an excuse for me to finally post.... XP))
Yugi looked fine, limp in the arms that held him, but far too small to be a burden. His breathing was calm and even, and he looked a bit bruised up, but otherwise fairly normal.
The odd thing was, he looked content.... and though unconscious, Yugi was. To just have Atemu.... near him, with him.... that was enough to make Yugi happy.
