And yes, there are things in our system that protects you, but that doesn't mean you are 100% safe from everything. Soda won't murder your stomach and all, but it certainly does not help. It can damage teeth too.
It varies for everyone though I think.
@Bookworm: Ya, soda definitely isn't good for you, so I really don't mind that I dislike it. I used to be sad that I hated it, 'cuz every time I went to parties, such as Birthday Parties, all they had was soda to serve.
Or just going to any of my friend's houses in general, soda was all that was available. So water became my greatest ally. haha
Pub 'N Sub Pizza is really good too and so is Woodstocks.
