Perily sat back down. She looked out the window, then shrieked.
"Aaahhh, pretty birdie wanna read?" The demon grinned.

Mai giggled once more and motioned for Michelle to follow along. Since Michelle had already gone to the office, she might as well come with them, she might get lost even more. She ran off towards the direction where Clarissa went to, stopping to try and look for her a bit.

A few minutes passed, and no sign of Clarissa anywhere, she decided to keep running until she bumped into her.

She went through more hallways and rooms, which were mostly getting her even more lost than ever. She stopped to take a breather, exhausted from too much running, 'where is she?' she asked herself, still panting.

Perily got up.
Tori grinned. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you... yet. You're angel isn't here! Where is that idiot anyways?"
"Caf." She murmured.
"She speaks!" Tori clapped, then snapped her fingers.
Perily's book burst into flame. "no!" She dropped the book on the ground, sending the room up in flames.
"The rest of the building won't burn, don't worry!" Tori flipped off of the balcony and flew away.
Perily covered her mouth with her sleeve, coughing.

Michelle tried her very best to keep up, since Clarissa shot off so suddenly out of pure excitement. What an awesome angel, so bubbly and ready for anything!

She caught up with Mai and they both took a breather in the hall. At least she had kept up with the human. This was making her paranoid; unitl she found out who was rooming with her, she knew not who her charge was, and had to protect any human she could come in contact with.

"We....*huff* should go back to the office downstairs so we can find your-"

She forze suddenly, smelling smoke. Somehting was burning. Something large. This was bad; she had a not-so-great feeling about it.

"Something's on fire....CMON!" her personality suddenly got serious, and dragging the girl with her (hopefully not too forcefully), she went to the source of the smell, which was behind a dorm door. She touched hte handle, and drew it back in pain. She began to mentally panic; the room was on fire; it had to be!

What should she do?! She can't leave this Mai girl, who was already nervous as it was. First, to see what was going on. "HELLO! IS ANYONE IN THERE!" she called out towards the door while pounding it, hoping there was no human in there. It had to be demon work; she could sense it.

Perily shrieked. "I AM!" She dropped to her knees, trying to crawl over to the door.
PostPosted: Fri Apr 18, 2008 4:01 pm

Oh no, there was a human in there! She sounded very scared; this was demon work.

"OK! Stand back; I'll have to move the door!" Michelle called out. Anything from this point on would give her position as a angel-in-training away to Mai, but in times of crisis and life-at-stake issues, it was against no rules. She'd find out eventually anyways.

She felt the door; it was weak, she just needed something from the other side to at least lightly tap it for it to fall. And if she rammed it herself, since the victim was heading towards the door, it'd squish her. The young angel shut her eyes suddenly and grew still, trying to remember where kitchen sink lies. Remembering from her room, she summoned a small blast of water from the other side. In this case, her one power was about to be very helpful.

On the other side, water shot out of the facuet as if by magic, ramming into the door and knocking it over. Michelle had moved Mai out of the way of hte door as it fell and told her to wait here, then she ran inside.

She coughed as she entered; it was burning up in here. She then saw the girl crawling towards the door, looking rather weak from too much smoke exposure. She grabbed the girl carefully and half-dragged her back outside out of the smoke (since being 14 doesn't give alot of upper body strength). "Be right back. Sorry Mai; I have to put out that fire! See if she's ok!" she called quickly, and ran back into the fire.

Looking about, she ran about quickly and realized that the fire extiguisher was behind a closed unreachable bathroom door. Whimpering out of her nervousness, she grabbed the facuet and ripped it out of the sink, water spraying upward. She focused her mind, picturing the H2O as a bendable stick that she could work with. Doing this, her body glowed a golden color as she felt her strengh slowly leave her, but the water dousing out het fire as it spread about like a child's water hose toy. She could not control it too well, but in this case where everything needed dousing, this was a good thing, but it was taking some time. Her only concern was not at all for herself, but for the two scared girls outside.

Soon Julian made his way downstairs to the cafeteria. He doubted that his drink was still in the same spot, but he figured he might as well look. It took him awhile to remember which table they had sat at, but eventually he settled on the one near the third window. Carefully he looked but he did not see the blue drink.

"I heard someone fainted at that table earlier."

"Yeah that was my roommate, she was just..." Julian turned around to find a black haired, tan boy standing behind him. There were some odd waves coming off of him, that was for sure, however the angel in training had never met a demon before and so assumed the boy a fellow Angel. This, though, was not the reason he stopped mid sentenced. Instead, it was the cool blue drink he was pouring down his throat, "Hey, where did you get that?"

"I found it on the table. It looked pretty full so I figured why not," Drew smirked then took another sip, "Why you want some?"

'Wow, what a weird coincidence,' Julian thought then nodded, "Sure." He took the drink from the demon's hand and took a gulp. He handed back the drink then wiped the residue off on his wrist, "Thanks, I needed that. By the way, I'm Julian."

"Drew."

"So what room are you in?"

"I can't really remember," Drew lied and he took back the gatorade, "But what about you?"

"Five."

"You leave your charge up there?" Drew asked, mentally storing away the number in is brain.

"Yeah, but I'm sure she's fine," even as he spoke the words Julian felt as though they were not true, "Actually I think i should be getting back to her, Seeya around!"

"Yeah, Seeya."

Perily coughed slightly, then moved her arm so it wasn't covering her mouth anymore. She scooted against the wall, looking at the room. The demon was right, none of the other rooms had suffered any damage.

Julian didn't quite know why but he suddenly found himself walking much faster then he expected. When he arrived at his hall, he saw to girl's lying in front of his door, and smelled smoke in the air, now he was running. "Perily! Are you alright?"

She nodded silently, looking up at him. "A demon." She muttered.

Clarissa skipped joyfully down the hall on the way to her room. She was in dorm #9 and she continued to imagine what her room mate would be like. "Hm, they need to be warm and friendly, and someone I can talk to without trying to force a conversation. I would really like to have a girl charge, but a boy wouldn't be bad either I guess" she thought as she passed the rooms counting down to hers.

As she got closer she saw her bags already sitting out side of the door to the room. "How nice of them to bring my stuff up for me" she thought with a smile. When she got to the door and tested the knob. It was already unlocked. "Oh someone must already be here". She waited a few seconds to build personal drama, she turned the knob and opened the door. Inside there were two beds on opposing walls with a desk in between. On one of the bed a boy with shaggy brown hair was lying down. Hardly able to contain herself she wanted to immediately greet her charge, but caught herself when she thought that the boy might be sleeping. So instead she quietly grabbed her things and moved them into the room.

Steven was still lying on his bed when he heard someone start to open the door to his room. Showing little interest he just barely opened one eye. Through the door came a cheerful looking girl with silvery hair with some bags under her arms. At first he just closed his eyes again, but then thought that he might as well be nice and offer to help the girl.
"Hey. Do you want a hand with your bags?" he asked without opening his eyes.

The boy's words came so suddenly Clarissa almost dropped some of her bags. She looked over at the boy lying on the bed. He looked the same as when she walked in a few seconds ago, but now she looked at him with a great deal more excitement. "He is kind enough to help a girl. He may not be a girl, but he will do just fine. Hopefully," she thought to herself as she continued starring.
"If it is not to much trouble I still have one more bag outside of the door," she said shyly. "And thank you."

It was not very long before the room was smoke and fire free, but with a price to cost. Stuff was now soaked, but would dry in time. Michelle grinned a weak grin; she was suddenly not feeling to great herself.

It did not occur to her that putting out the fire would mean exposing her to the same chemicals that she wanted the girl to avoid, and much longer time than her. And using her powers to a high level was no help to this. She could feel herself coughing and swaying, suddenly wanting to lie down and breathe normally. But she could not; not until she knew the girls were ok.

Cmon now, baby steps here.......
Michelle thought to herself as she put one foot in front of the other slowly, looking about. There were quite a few wet books on a shelf; now she felt a pang of guilt. Strange, that was only supposed to be metophorical, not literal. Mabye that wasn't the guilt. Or was that....?

No, that wasn't guilt; it was her breakfast. She barely made it to the bathroom in time as a bit of sickness came to her. After cleaning up the bathroom to a sparkly flower-filled smell, she re-emerged and slid to the floor, shutting her eyes. That was actually very helpful for clearing out her lungs, although now she was mainly energy-drained....

No, get up, GET UP! She forced herself up and went out of the dark room and saw now another boy join the two girls. He was definiately an angel.

Wait.......was this the girl's charge? Oooooh, it better not be. YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO LEAVE THE CHARGE ALONE! If it was, she'd have to teach him a lesson. But not now.

The tiny angel didn't remember getting all the way to them. She remembered that they kept mulitplying in front of her, and reached out a pale hand to them, hoping they'd stop moving.......while sitting? Humans are strange. She asked something about their welfare and then an apology to Mai for putting her on the spot like that. Then everything began to swirl and she felt herself hit the floor right before all went dark. She was out cold and curled up on the floor like a kitten, breathing ok-ish but had been in smoke too long to stay consious.

Julian's hazel eyes widened at her words. 'A demon on the first day? Damn I never should have left her alone,' he thought as he studied the girl for any injuries, finding none. "Wait here, I'll deal with this," but as the angel turned to enter his room, he saw another angel standing before him, "You're not the demon are you?"
