Cecelia watched Madeline and Naomi pass, and smiled again. "Well, we better get to dinner. I'm only going to this one since mom will probably cry if i don't." Cecelia scoffed, hating the idea of making her mother cry. Even though formal dinners were not her thing, she'll probably show up for more then just this one.

EDIT
(thanks for letting me know!)

Naomi started walking towards the stairs, til she realized that she was not being followed. Looking behind her, her mind did a mental face palm: Madeline was drifting excitely.......in the wrong direction. It was like watching a confused yet happy little bunny, just hopping along without a care in the world.

"No no no no no! This way; the way you were going leads the opposite direction of food!" the younger sibling ran to her older on quickly before she disappeared, and tried to lead her back to the stairs so they could head the right way. She felt like she was walking a dog or something for a moment, which was really strange and not right. But she merely tried to get her sister to follow her; talk about a space cadet!

EDIT: Seeing Star walk with them, Naomi agreed with her; Mom would probably be mad if they didn't show up, so there really wasn't much of a choice. Of course, how many times did the woman not show up for her sisters? But that was not the subject at the moment.

"True; we might as well show up to the first one at least, to get an idea if we're gonna live." Naomi joked as they headed down the stairs.

((No problem ^.^))
"Fooooddddd~!" Madeline switched directions. A face of blissful peace resided upon her head. She was ready to agree to just about anything right now, as long as she got food. Food was good... gourmet food was okay... comfort food was better... she wanted something fried... or baked... baked was always good too.

Alyekzander hid in his room, ear to the door. He could not hear any of the words being said, but if he were very quiet he could hear that the girls were speaking. So there he remained, waiting for their voices to fade. He felt silly hiding from the sisters, but silly or not he did hate being tickled. Crazy females. No one else in this house wanted much to do with him, but those two... apparently they found him amusing. Bloody Hell, what had he ever done to give them that impression? Well, before fleeing from them, anyway. When he finally could not hear the girls talking any longer, Alyekzander smoothed his clothing and left his room to head to dinner. He did not hurry; he had no desire to catch up.

Domanik pulled up to the house in his fully restored '69 Mustang. The streetlights bounced off of the cobalt blue paint, the orange tint of the light clashing badly with the beautiful color. He opened the door a slid out of the cream-colored leather interior. He carefully, lovingly put the car cover over it. That car was his baby. He loved it more than anything else in the world.

He strode into the house, the soles of his dress shoes making little noises that bounced around in the echoing emptiness. He was probably just in time for dinner. He hung up his coat in the proper closet, but did not remove his shoes. He knew it would annoy Markus. If he was so eager to be Japanese, why didn't he just move to Tokyo?

Domanik decided against changing for dinner. That'd probably give the new steps the impression that he cared what they thought of him. Making his way to the dining room (he didn't want to be here, but Father had said that if they didn't eat with the 'family', they were to go to bed hungry, although, Max had probably gotten out of it.), he saw Alyk.

"You meet 'them' yet?" Nick asked without preamble, making the word 'them' sound as disgusting as he could. He didn't do pleasantries.

Emily sat very still, trying not to look as awkward as she felt, which was monumentally difficult in the chilly silence. Her new stepfather sat at the head of the ridiculously long, polished mahogany table, looking more coldly furious by the second, her mother a pretty china doll by his side. That was, more than the nine glaringly empty seats and increasingly angry stepfather, what made Emily want to fidget; the woman sitting there was not her mother. Her mother was not pretty, for one thing. She certainly had been more than pretty, all the girls knew and appreciated that. Emily could even remember it a little. For most of their lives, however, looks had no longer been the point. She had been tired all the time, really too tired to play with her girls even when the rare opportunity presented itself. That was what the word 'mother' meant to Emily and, she knew, to Cecelia; a perpetually exhausted ghost of a woman they hardly ever saw who they were supposed to be greatful to. Emily now understood, looking at the lovely woman with her glossy dark hair and carefully expressionless features, that their mother was as much a stranger as the man sitting next to her; oddly, this realization brought with it a savage sort of triumph. She was at this dinner for her mother's sake, but she now knew that she owed her mother nothing but the careful politeness she would gift to a benevolent stranger. Her loyalty lay with her sisters. A tiny, sarcastic smile curled around the corners of her mouth as she reached for her glass of water and brought it to her lips, listening with vague interest as the softly tinkling ice broke the carefully crafted silence around them.

Cecelia sighed. "Well, c'mon, all of you." Cecelia said, referring to Markus, Madeline, and Naomi. She, herself, hurried to the dining room, gulping before she entered. Just as she thought, fancy, elegant.. not her style. Cecelia put a fake smile on, flashing it towards her mother, and her new husband, before sitting herself next to Emily. She did take pride in the surprised look on her mother's face though. Even though she had agreed to show up for dinner, Cecelia realized her mother had expected her to skip out. That brought a smile to Cecelia's lips, while still acting as if she wanted to be here.

Madeline had ditched the shoes and arrived in her normal manner. running in barefoot and childlike. She threw her arms around her mother and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She gave a less spontaneous and extremely formal kiss on the cheek to her stepfather.
"Good evening Mother, Daddy Dearest." She curtsied to both, and took her seat next to her mother. Her mother smiled sweetly, and Madeline knew that her mother had expected her to come.

Adrienne strolled into the dining room, a vision of black with a serene expression on her perfectly Goth'd up face. No one need know that she'd spent fifteen minutes just getting here, although her sisters would probably suspect because they knew her entirely too well. "Hey," She said, directing the greeting to the room at large before plunking herself down in one of the chairs surrounding the vast table. I wry smile tilted her lips when her mother let out a tiny sigh of relief; no doubt she'd expected Adrienne to 'accidentaly' not show up. As it was, Addie was getting a stern frown for the way she was dressed. She braced her elbows on the table and held her head up with a hand resting on her chin, her dark eyes sweeping around the room, a carefully cultivated look of bordom plastered onto her face.

Markus allowed Cecelia to herd him into the dining room. He wasn't as exhuberent as Madeline in his greeting, but he did smile at Father and his new bride as he seated himself across from Cecelia. "Good evening, Father. Evening, Step-Mother." He easily identified his two remaining sisters, and greeted them as well. "Emily, Adrienne, It's a great pleasure to meet you. My name's Markus."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Nevermind!" Domanik said sharply when Alyk didn't answer. Really! Was it that hard to answer someone when they asked you a question? Domanik didn't have time for Alyk's slow deliberations. He made his way to the dining room, seating himself. He glared at everyone, but especially at Markus. He'd alway thought his eldest brother a fool, but this was unforgivable.
He was making friends with them
He said nothing to anyone as he continued to stare down each of the girls, mentally listing their faults. The eldest, Cecelia, was going to be as annoying as possible for a while, to assert her dominance in the house. Emily was a quiet little mouse, hardly noticable; she'd be much too easy to overlook. Madeline was rambuncuous, noisy, and loud, and probably messy too. Adrienne looked like a freak, and Naomi, the youngest, was most likely a chirpy little space case.
She glanced over and grinned. Okay, so at least one of them could be civil. Nice, even. What a shocking surprise! "Hi, s'nice to meet you, too." Adrienne said with a quiet laugh. "I would introduce myself right back, but you've already done that quite nicely." She arched an eyebrow and pursed her lips. "Ahh, but do you know which one I am? I'll give you a guess; she's Emilie." A little wiggle of her fingers in Emilie's direction.
"I-" She froze, her mouth snapping closed as she caught sight of the other brother's glare. "Ho-kaaayyyyy," She drawled, a frown appearing on her face. "I think I'll just ignore you, you happy-looking little darling, you. You're just a veritable ray of sunshine, far too bright for me." Adrienne turned back towards Markus and cocked her head to the side, effectively dismissing Domanik from her mind. "So. Markus. How's tricks?"
Madeline had chosen not to start a conversation. A, the p***k Dominick had walked in, B, she didn't have anything she'd talk about with her mother, and C, she wasn't exactly sure WHAT to talk about. 12 people in one family. She just wanted to eat and go.
"Oh, don't mind him. He thinks being rich makes him exempt from being civil," Markus said.
"Not just rich, brother. I'm good looking and brilliant too." Domanik said this in a menacing tone, without lightening his expression one bit.
"It's called common courtesy."
"Exactly, I'm not common."
"Glad to see your sense of modesty is intact," Markus remarked sarcastically. He turned back to Adrienne. "Sorry again. To answer your question 'tricks' are just fine. How are you settling in?"
Domanik resumed his silent, malevolent gaze. Markus was a fool. He'd show these 'sisters'. He'd simply act as though they didn't exist.
"Common sense is desired by most, but I guess it isn't for you." Madeline looked at Dominick, smiling slightly. She currently had proper posture and everything, just to make up for her 'grand' entrance. She smiled at the other brothers that had shown up.
Unfortunatly, once Domanik had said he was good looking, Cecelia had water in her mouth. Her hand flew to her mouth, just as she began to laugh. She grabbed a napkin, unembarassed. "Good.. looking..haha..Oh, that's a good one." She said, forgetting all about her 'be good' pact. Cecelia eventually stopped laughing, and it turned into soft, quiet, giggles. It was funny, to think this brother was so full of himself.
