Actually third degree are less painful because the nerves are burned.

nerves burned tend to make you feel like its still burning after healing up. Its like the phantom limb syndrome.

URmm, maybe. THey're suppposed to be cauterized and so feel less pain....in 3rd degree anyway..

technically depending on what strata you are when the bomb goes off, you get different effects.
You could actually survive a blast but still get your face "blown off" by the force of the shockwave or the initial explosion
