Darkened Angel Vice Captain

Angel removed her cloak and unfastened the top of her shirt, giving enough room for air without being revealing. (( Yeah, I know. Too bad guys. )) With R1 flying the ship, she lounged back in the seat, trying to cool off from the heat. " So, what's the plan once we get to Ossus? " she asked, while the ship continued its way towards the Eclipdra.

A short while later in the break room behind the shop, the gungan proprietor watched as his precious holocron fragment went into the human male's pocket.(he knew it was a human male because it had told him so during the course of the game.) "oi moi moi...I knew I should not have bet against a human...oh I be a bombad fool..." The human lit up a grin and shuffled his cards back up. "hey don't take it so bad buddy. here, let me lighten the loss." the outlaw rolled another crystal across the table, where the gungan snatched it up and examined it. "what is this?" "oh, its one of those focusing gem things from a lightsaber. the jedi must have a hard on for crystals." The gungan looked at him increduoulsy."How did you aquire this?!" The man gave an innocent smile."It would be bombad for buisness if I tell you. but as long as you don't ask any further questions, you won't have to worry about its owner coming to find it. say it came from an anonymous contributor." The gungan gave a broad smile."Very well "Mr. Mann". I apreciate your generosity. but I do have one question to ask about you and the holocron shards." "What did I say? no more questions." the man reiterated. "Indulge me this one. what would a spacer like you need the shard I had for?" The human stood up, slid in his chair, and gave a parting glance at the gungan. with a wry smile he answers."So I can get my shard to shut up. Ive been loosing sleep." with that, he vanished out the door and disapeared into the busy street.

Mordranna bowed as well. "Likewise. Good to work with you again." She commented with a cheerful smile. Afterwards, she then made her way for the Kapella. When she got there, she greeted the man whom she assumed was Hudson, and introduced herself.

Cajin followed Mordranna, half lost in thought.
Do I want to accompany her? he wondered, as he followed. Maybe I can find out, how she's adjusted so well, why she would follow the Republic... Maybe you're just curious about her.
He uncharacteristically uncertain and hesitant, he waited a moment, after she had spoken with the a crewmember, and asked "Can I speak with you for a moment?"

Mordranna politely nodded to Hudson as she heard the voice of Cajin. "Ah, we meet again." With a bow, she continued. "I can spare but a moment or two. Myself and Master Neb will be en route for Ossus within the hour."

"Do you need, or want an extra hand on your journey there?" he asked. "I'm between jobs at the moment (and there's not much work to be had, it seems), and tagging around with you seems interesting enough." he said.
"I've got my own ship." he said, gesturing to his shuttle. "And I'm handy with a blaster and such."

Mordranna considered Cajin's question. To be sure, he certainly made a case for himself. Her gaze went to his ship as he indicated it. Still, she wasn't sure of his motivations for such. "That's all well and good." she began with a nod. "But, how are you with a lightsaber?" "I know little of what lies on Ossus. Perhaps, just ruins," Mordranna began, and paused. Of course, ruins were about the extent of her knowledge regarding the planet, that and stories of many a Jedi artifact there, though she didn't feel sure enough to trust Cajin with that just yet. And, she wasn't sure if he'd even follow what she meant by what she was about to say. "I saw fit to mediate for a bit, and I feel drawn to the place. I know not what I'll find there. That being said, should Neb not have any objections, then I'll trust his judgement."

Cajin was blinked in surprise. "A lightsaber? I've never even held one." he replied to Mordranna's question. "I've used vibroweapons and such, though. Why do you ask?" he asked in return.

"Since Mordranna is accompanying you to Ossus, it would be best if I went to Garos IV," said Ganil. "And who can I speak to about the new ship? I want to see what it can do before I make my final decision."

Selkisto went to his room, collapsed on his bunk, and pulled out his comlink and switched it to neb's frequency, then cued the Jedi master. "Master Neb?" He had calmed down considerably, but still had a bit of an edge in his voice.

Hudson stared at the jedi. It was not his personality to really feel emotion, and resembled Neb in battle more than in peace. Hudson was a gaunt man, standing around 5'10", slightly larger than Neb's slight stature. Of course, to be perfectly honest, he wasn't a human at all. Mon Calimarian by heritage, the squid was even said to be a decent mechanic, the one who installed the Kapella's odd shield array even. But his true knowledge lied in energy displacement and trap disarmament, along with a little knowledge of ancient text and translation. All being said and done, he was basically someone who could get you in, or out, of anywhere really old. Tomb Raider, in a sense.
"Um, Ma'am, Mordranna, I believe, Ossus is not just ruins. In fact, it is quite civilized. It is the birthplace of the jedi. We shall be heading for Knossa Spaceport, the prime hub. If you are a bookworm, however, you may find that our real location may be a bit more.... interesting, however."
At this time, Gunny arrived. Gunny was just as his name pertook, Master Chief of Guns. He never could get his name to be spelled right, always switching back from Gunny to Gunnie, until he got it legally changed to both. Standing 6'2", Gunny is large compared to the crew, and his brown hair is put up in a flatop which increases his height even more. He doesn't know much, except when it came to anything that went kerblooie. Lasers, ballistics, demolitions, he knew most of the workings by heart. Surprizingly, he also knew quite alot about compound analysis, which isn't much of a suprize when you think about what he learned about naturally, with explosive compounds and laser refraction.
"I hear them Ysanna have natural force ablities, so should I be packing disruptors or... Hello... And how are you doing?" Gunnie stopped, eyeing up Mordranna. The Calimarian snagged his ear before Gunnie could say another word.
"You have yet to run that spectroanalysis on the last shard we recovered, so either quit hitting on the lady, or I'll begin hitting you. If Neb discovers you're putting hands on her, I can garuntee you that you won't have those fingers for long either," Hudson hissed, bending Gunny slightly over to get to his ear.
Meanwhilst, in the batcave! (okay, anoher part of the ship)
Neb checked the time, before answering Ganil's question. "I think that Mordranna may not be using hers, at the moment. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't mind too much. And the flight deck officer over there," Neb said, pointing to a lieutenant, "Is in charge of all fights not in battle, and there's an extra on the ship I think he would be willing to try out."
At that moment, Neb's comlink beeped an incoming message. "I'm afraid I've got to go. Sometimes i wish I was but a mere knight again. I've never been this tied for time in a long while. But before I leave, a note about Garos IV: Watch out. The republic may have it seiged, but be careful on your feet. Beseiged people are desperate, and if you happen to penetrate the city, watch out for citizens. Some may not like our interferance there..."
With that, Neb sighed, waved goodbye, and began moving from place to place among the ship, checking the latest updates and whatnot, answering Selk's message.
"Reporting, Selk. What is it?"

Selkisto blinked and sat up. "Neb? I, uh..." he searched through the multitude of words and expressions of the Basic language and could come up with no way to ask what he wanted. So he asked something else. "The ship's moving out. I don't know when we'll see each other again. I was wondering, what's to become of my lightsaber training?"
He kept his tone flat, but anyone with a great deal of intuition could tell his concerns were not centered solely on lightsaber training.

"It is to be kept up. You make it sound as if war is forever. You aren't a force user, and the chance of being proficient with a lightsaber is slim. I won't lie to you. You've already progressed farther than most people, I'll tell you. Don't be discouraged. Don't worry old sport, time is like the falcoln. Sometimes it goes by fast, other times, it won't go at all. There's always hope in the future. Trust me, we'll catch up when time slows down. Right now, all we can do is buckle up and hope that the flight is a short one." Neb responded. "I'll be back after my trip to Ossus. I'll need to head back to Coruscant then, so let's plan on meeting there, shall we?"
Neb entered the hangar, and the Kapella, marching up the ramp and into the ship.

The proposal of a future meeting brightened Selkisto's spirits a bit. "Will do. May the force be with you, Neb. Selkisto out."
He switched off his comm and sighed, laying back down on his bunk. He'd do as the Admiral ordered, now, and rest.

Mordranna was pressed for time, but swiftly considered Cajin's question. "Well, you do know that much, which is good." She smiled. "But, the master is here, so I must get going." She simply waved to him and went up the ramp. She then nodded sagely at Hudson's talk concerning Ossus. "Thank you. You see, the impression I always had was otherwise. Still, I do fancy myself a bit of a scholar. And, as Neb may have told you, I tend to look for peaceful solutions whenever possible." And then, Gunny came aboard. Naturally, she was mildly taken aback as he gave her a visual once-over. "I-I'm fine, thank you," was all the flustered woman could get out before Hudson reprimanded him. And then, before too long, Neb himself came aboard, and she gave him a light bow. "Pleasure to be working with you again, Neb," she politely chirped as she took up a station.
