Nonsense! The RP shouldn't just end because I am not here. You guys are perfectly capable of RP'ing without me there. I plan on having a "re-open" event when everyone is ready to RP.

Well for me RP is at a halt. I can't do it until I have a faster cpu and have our own place. This won't be until like next year. But if Steven does what he wants, it will be as soon as octoberish. Sorry for all this, but oh well...If things change I'll let you all know...

How are everyone's schedules looking? I know ATH^1 is on an indefinite hiatus until her internet connection gets faster but what about our other RP'ers? The place has been pretty dead lately.

I'm busy with school and then I start a new job come Monday so the likelyhood is I won't be on at all most likely. And no offense but from my experience whenever the former/leader of a guild or even thread leaves especially if it's not a popular one with a lot of people, the thread/guild tends to die within a couple of weeks. And well you basically carry this thread on your back, although I know you wish you didn't, if you stop showing up I can't see this place lasting for very long. It's happened before when you disappeared. Of course you guys could prove me wrong. 3nodding

It is true that I carry the thread on my back but it doesn't mean it ends. The thing about the DarkSeas is that it often reincarnates at a later time. I believe the best option at this point is to do the following.
1.) Since the majority of the RP'ers are gone, I say that we go ahead and end season 5 since that is the natural flow of things. I can make some post to identify this.
2.) Since people still like the place but have thrived more in one-on-one RP. How about we have separate threads for each one on one? That way we can post as we desire while still keeping cohesiveness in a story. The hardest part of the story in the normal season is keeping it flowing period since there are so many different people with so many different tastes.
3.) At a point in time in the future, we re-open our thread with a new season when everyone feels right ready to do so.
What are your thoughts?
I hope to hear from everyone this time!

I think those are all good points. Yes, this seems to be the end of the season. My C's can all accept that.
Hadn't thought of 1x1 for this guild, but now that you mention it that could be a really good way to keep this thing alive. I would enjoy that.
For me, I am starting to find the time to RP again probably. I start school in a couple of weeks and that means I'll be on the computer more doing things. So yes, wait until people have the time again.

Okay, that's good to know you are in. There are certainly many stories that we could run using the same characters. I am still plotting the best way to close the season.

I don't think I actively participated in the season, so ending it or not won't bother me one way or the other.
I like the one on one idea, but what about if others want to join that rp? Make them open for others or closed for just the participants?
Of course I think we should re-open later.
I swear I'll post on the other RP eventually. I haven't been very creative lately aside from drawing a tattoo design for a friend.
