Michael shot Drake a dark look, before turning back to Ranu.
"Nope, no happy ending for me."
He laughed.
"Who needs brats when you have a fleet of ships?"
He picked up a knife from the table.
"Welcome to the group son, but to sit here with pirates, such as ourselves, you must have had a run in with death... consider this your initiation."
he threw the knife at Drake.

Kibo's hand shot out, catching the knife between two fingers, and frowning back at Michael, waggling his finger.
Kibo: No, Michael, this is a civilized time. We settle our differences like gentlemen. With glocks.
He snapped his fingers, and his business suit disappeared, replaced with a simple jeans and a t-shirt. He had always hated suits, but his job often called for it.
Kibo: And if you're gonna complain so much, Auron, I'm sure there are at least 3 people here who can bring you back to your previous age. You too, Mikey.

"Pregnant woman within a close enough vicinity to rip you both a new one, dammit! Will you jerks just behave or do I need to call the kids. I know Allie would LOVE to scold you two for me... And Kibo, stop making our children out like they're homicidal maniacs. Take Motoko for example! she has hopes of being normal..." Sunny stated, sighing loudly.

"Motoko is probably the most powerful of them all in that she can take my place as 'Mom' while I'm working. Not a single one of her siblings act against her and she keeps a close watch on all of them. Plus, she was the first to know I was pregnant. I think she's the next in line of cherubim..." Sunny mused as she pulled out some fruity gum to chew on. "That and she was the one to program the blasted DVD clock... None of us could do that!" she laughed.

Kibo laughed, remembering Sunny holding him back, trying to take the sledgehammer from his hand, as he marched angrily towards that DVD before Motoko had fixed it.
Kibo: Yeah, that was a fun time, wasn't it?

"We spent too much money for you and Michael to get to smash it. Poor Michael wanted to destroy it so badly... Remember how I let him kill the fax machine instead? It was like he was living the 'Office Space' dream" Sunny laughed. "Motoko made it look so easy too...".

Kibo laughed at that memory. He even held Michael back a few times, just like in the movie he had enjoyed so much.
Kibo: She did. It was infuriating. I had to ground her for being too smart.

"You know I ungrounded her, right? She wasn't being a brat about it... She just wanted to help. Ohhh... I was SO muck like her when I was her age" Sunny pinched the bridge of her nose and shook her head. "She's getting a raise in her allowance".

Kibo: I didn't seriously ground her. It was a joke. And she's old enough, so I let her go out and get a job. She needs on eventually, and it'll teach her discipline.

Kibo: Ssshhhh, don't worry. She's working as a higher-up in the local library. She's making $17/hour.

"Library... Oh... That's much better... Does she like her job? Ugh, I've been so busy I haven't gotten to talk to my kids for longer than five minutes. I miss them!!! I'm writing the children's and young adult's books at home and the kids will be my test group" she said, determined to be uber mom.
