"Hm? Oh, I suppose so. I was just thinking..." She still didn't look up. She'd been bombarded with so much, so quickly. She felt her emotional ill feelings becoming physical. Emerwyn stood up, and walked over to the balcony and leaned on it, breathing deeply.

She stood and walked over to the other woman, patting her on the shoulder. "Whatever it is, I'll listen if you need me to."

Colche finally had the thiought to look upwards, her blue eyes came in to contact with two faces, she knew both though one she knew better than the other, she smiles lightly "Greer" she says simply, glad to have found somone, it seemed like she was all alone all the time just lately, being alone was ookay, but it was nice to have people to lean on so to speak. She stands waiting wondering how they got up there, people on the island were magic.

Emerwyn smiled. She could tell Greer anything. Maybe she could confide this to her.
"I have someone back home. You may have heard me mention him the other night. He was very important to me. We were living together for a long time... He went to visit a friend - her mother died. And then... he disappeared. He didn't get off the plane. God knows if he even got on it.
Even before I knew he'd vanished, I began to feel sick. At first I thought I just missed him. I'd never really been away from him. My head was filled with bizarre thoughts; some didn't even seem to be in any real language. I was getting dizzy, weekly stomach illnesses. Once I heard about Jerrick, it ony got worse.
I didn't go to a doctor. And I sure as hell wouldn't now. My lack of trust for doctors has only increased in the past couple of days...
I stayed in my apartment for days, not going to work. I waited for a sign of some kind. It was like whatever was wrong with Jerrick was affecting me.
I got a phone call. It was our friend, the one he was supposed to be meeting. She'd met up with another, and they said they had information. That's all they said. I can't fathom what they found out or how they did.
I didn't want to take a plane, understandable, I hope. Ironic how the ship proved much more trecherous.
I just want to find Jerrick. What if something happens? And I know - I think I know - if I stop getting sick, then he's either safe or -
Or," she added. "I'm just as crazy as Julian."

Greer shook her head sadly, giving Emerwyn a hug. Goodness. It would never cease to amaze her how well coming to this island had worked out for her, and how bad it was for everyone else. At least she had a chance at happiness. What could Emerwyn do?
Glanicing down, she caught sight of Cloche wandering around on the ground. "Hey Cloche!" she yelled, "Walk up the stairs and knock on the door to get in!"

"St..urs" she mumbled pottering about til she found them and potterd up through the darkness. She pauses at the door though, hers was always open, or opend by somone else, "knock" she mutted scrunching her face up a little, what did that one mean? She wasn't sure so seh tried to turn the handle and push the door instead, just incase it was open.

Emerwyn returned the hug.
"I'm sorry." Emerwyn sobbed softly. "I didn't mean to put all my burdons on you like that."
She glanced down and saw Colche, too.
"You think she'll make it up alright?"

Greer patted her one the back. "That's okay. It's hard to do it all by yourself."
Internally she rolled her eyes at herself. Since when did she provide a sympathetic ear?
Releasing her friend, Greer excused herself to collect Cloche. She really needed to stop locking her door! Pulling it open, she smiled at the spotted girl. "Hello Cloche! How are you?"

Colche stood there beaming like a cheshire cat, her hand was on the door as it opend and she stumbled a little though she righted herself in a moment. She smiled softly at last her big blue eyes resting on greer for a moment. She some times wished Greer would break down her sentences more, they went over her head. She purses her lips though trying to muddle through the simple sentence "Nice?" she replies almost questioningly. She looks about the appartment noting it's similarities and it'sdifferences, allthe terrariums, her brow furrows as she looks at these, what were they for? She looks at Greer and points at the tanks. her eyes flitterd to emerwynn then and her memory served her and she rememberd the girls name "Emerwynn!" she gives a little puur at the end of her sentence proud of herself.

"Oh, hello Colche," Emerwyn wiped her forming tears away. She then turned to Greer.
"Listen, you've been truly wonderful, but I can't intrude on your hospitality any longer. I have to go."
In actuality she was feeling incredibly sick. She knew she'd explode any minute. Her throat burned threateningly. She set her teacup down and almost ran out of the duplex, wishing for the comfort of her own bathroom.

"Oh, okay! Um, see you...later?" Greer watched Emerwyn flee, utterly confused. She hoped she hadn't done something wrong.
Turning back to Cloche, she smiled at the girl and nodded to the tanks. "Pet bugs." she explained.

"Pet..Bugs" she repeated tilting her head curiously at the tanks, she smiled and shuffles over to one peering in, after looking for a moment she shrugs and turns to Greer and gigles softly, she wanted to teach greer her song, the song she had been humming to herself for days and that she had added words to. She bites her togue gently and hums the tune for a moment before saying "Little starfish hum, hum, hum hum, hum hum" she giggles, the song had long lay dormant in her head but the tune was still there, perhaps somone had taught her it before the times of darkness, who knew? she only knew the tune she had added starfish, to it on her own accord.

Greer smiled, almost recognizing the tune. "That's very pretty! Good song." Debating whether or not to show Cloche her pets, she remembered the butterfly case she'd put together recently but had no space for. Perhaps the girl would want it? Going to her bed, she reached under it and pulled out the case. "Present for Cloche."

Colche took the board from Greer and looked in to it. Her big blue eyes go wide with amazement as they scan over the many butterflies "Butterfly" she puurrs gently wonderign faintly why they weren't moving, maybe they weresleeping? She tapped the glass softly to see if they would flutter and ppouted a little when they didn't. She liked it when they flutterd they were fun to watch. Still it waspretty and she stated this "Nice pretty" she smiles at greer holding the case, what was she to do with it now? Had greer given her the pretty buterflies? "Colche's?" she questioned her gaze resting on the beautiful winged bugs.

Greer nodded. "Cloche's. Put on wall in seventeen?" She pointed to the wall behind her, which was covered in similar boxes holding many different kinds of insects, trying to show the girl what she could do with it.
