Tayuya was getting flustered.
"I have showed you this damn pattern a hundred times! And this is only the first verse!!! How the hell do you excpect to learn it at this rate?"
Maryan closed her eyes and pictured the pattern in her mind, her fingers began to move over the wooden flute.
"ABOUT DAMN TIME!" Tayuya yelled.
Maryan's eyes flew open, she did it?
"Now with the second verse." Tayuya said lifting her own flute.

Again Maryan watched the pattern, after Tayuya finished, Maryan began to try to finger it on her own flute.
"WRONG!" Tayuya yelled.
Tayuya reated the pattern.
Maryan began to finger it again.
"AGIAN ITS AN E NOT A C!!!" Tayuya yelled.
Maryan cringed, and began to finger it making sure she got the E.
"Thats better...." Tayuya said, "But it is played slower than that."

"Now for the final chorus, this is the finisher, the one to drive them to the edge and hold them there." Tayuya sneered thinking of the final chorus of her song. She put the flute up and played the chorus as Maryan blocked it out, watching her fingers.
"A,E,B,D," she said to herself, following the pattern.
When Tayuya was done she waved for Maryan to try.
Maryan placed the pipe to her lips and fingered the notes.
Tayuya nodded, as she played.
"Looking good....." When Maryan finished Tayuya gave a hard nod.
"Well now time to prove it on some prey."

Tayuya turned as one of the prisoners was brought in.
"Now prove you are a real sound nin and make him suffer."
Maryan nodded as Tayuya stepped away.
The man look terrified then he go confident.
"Your only a child, I won't be taken down by a child!" he tried to lunge at her.
Maryan put the flute to her lips and began to first verse.
The man stopped quickly, as if put into a trance. He looked drowsy and fell to his knees.
"Keep going." Tayuya egged her on.

She began the second verse, his arms seem to be raised into the air. Maryan knew what was playing in his mind, she had heard Tayuya explain it in gruesome detail. The way it seemed your body was melting around you.
"Come on, make him suffer, make him regret underestimating you." Tayuya wanted to hear him scream.
Maryan's face was contored to a wicked look, she was enjoying it, enjoying seeing the man suffer. The look was one that had to run in the family, if she didn't have the flute in her mouth, she would have been laughing.

She came to the third and final verse, and the man let out a wild scream, it was getting to him the mind games. But now he was trapped, Maryan took the flute from her mouth and began to laugh, the laugh as insane and scary, almost the same laugh Orochimaru had.
"Whats wrong, your on your knees before a child." she laughed again, then she drew her Sai.
She made a charge at him, her sai tipped in poison.
She drove them into his shoulders, he awoke from the illusion.
"Now you will die by the hands of a child."
His eyes went wide, then he reached out to grab her. But his hands fell short, he clutched his chest.
"What did you?"
"I am a cobra, so naturaly my fangs are poisoness." she said licking the blood off the tip of one of her Sai.
"If you stay still, you might live another of 5 minutes. Move around, and I give you two." she stepped back laughing again.
"Very nice finish Maryan. Very nice indeed." Tayuya said, even though that laugh creeped her out.

She was back, bruised still, but she was determined to win. She held the pact in her hand, "I...will....summon this thing...." she said.
She bit down on her thumb and did the handseals again.
And again, a small spider appeared.
Kurui let out a wild yell and used her razor sharp webbing and tore the spider apart.
Kidomaru sighed and then walked up behind her.
"It takes time, and patients. What is wrong with you? You are never this wild."
She turned her blue eyes burning, "Kama......."

Kidomaru took a few steps back, it was not a good idea to piss off an angry black widow. He had think for a minute, then he remebered what Kabuto had told him, she had lost her fight. So thats why she was so angry. He smiled, she is strong though, she was back training after only two days, despite the dark bruising marks on her revealed arms and stomach. He nodded, "You can do this, your strong."
Kurui turned back, and repeated the seals again. This time the spider was a bit larger. Kurui managed to hold her temper, and send the creature away without trying to destory it.

All she had to do was think of her loss to him, and it made her blood boil and gave her the energry to continue training long after her body had become exausted.
She did the hadseals, in a fast pattern and slammed the scroll to the ground.

The Spider was about half her size.
Poof
She sent it away.
"I will win....I will kill Kama...."

Kidomaru watched her from a distance, shaking his head.
"Shes working so hard, harder than I've ever seen her. She must be exausted..."
POOF
"Wrong.."
POOF
"But she won't give up until she is stronger." Kabuto walked up beside him.
Poof
"Still Wrong."
Poof
"Why did you make her fight him?" Kidomaru asked.
"She had no reason or faith as a Kunochi, she was simply a Kunochi because she couldn't be anything else, I gave her a slice of reality." Kabuto said pushing up his glasses.
Poof
"No."
Poof
"s**t, that was harsh. So you send her against an opponent almost twice her strength and let her get the s**t beat out of her. How thoughtfull." Kidomaru crossed his two upper arms.
"Well it worked didn't it?" Kabuto smirked.
Poof
"Grrrr."
Poof
"Oh ya it worked." Kidomaru sighed.

A large spider came flying at Kidomaru and Kabuto, then vanished.

"What was your first clue? The yelling? The heavy breathing? Or the huge spider she just threw at us?"
