Nicker and Roller took off also, helpful in their own way. Kalya laughed as she too got bombarded with images of eggs from the flits before thanking them so her mind wasn't so cluttered. Tilting her head to the side she heard the official total cresting over the crowed like a wave of excitement. "You are right there Lemurrin, there is 38 it sonds like. She jumped up and gave him a hug. "And just think, your partner must be down there." She looked down thoughtfully, gazing at the motteled pile that was finally clear from draconic wing or tail.

Remia looked about delightedly as everyone celebrated, then sighed as she recalled the chores she had not yet done. It seemed there was somewhere else she should be as well... but she left with basket in hand, heading towards the candidates barracks, which were rather empty.

Xilias sighed knowing he had a candidate class to attend to. Juggling both candidate classes and his healer lessons was quite a task but he enjoyed it. Of course he had the choice of just attending to his healer training but the business of working on one things all day was just a bit boring in the young boys mind so a little spice of candidate classes was just what he needed.
Rising from his seat he smiled to the ones who had yet to leave. With a short wave he set off to meet with Nico and Zareth.

Lemurrin hugged the bluerider in return. "It was nice to see you again, Kalya. And thanks for your understanding." Movement across the Sands caught his eye. "It looks like there are candidate lessons, so I should get going." With a wave, the harper strode off in the general direction of the feeding grounds.

Kalya nodded, brushing a plait back as a few loose tendrils tickled her face. "Have fun at the lessons." The dragonrider grinned, remembering how everyone had been surprised when she had not taken them. She had learnt fast after though. Kalya looked up at her blue who was still sunning himself. "Lazy thing..." She chuckled, turning back to find her bag and deal with her herb.

He sat in his seat straight back head held slightly down demure as his quick eyes counted the eggs. Thirty eight a large clutch no queen egg but still a very large clutch. He refained from squirming wanting to get a closer look but the feel of pale eyes watching him made him sit still. At least I got to go and see this even if I didn't get a closer look at the queen.
"The count boy."
"Thirdy eight sir." He said respectfully.
His father stood a signal that he was bored and it was time to go. Kahlin stood smoothly staying three steps behind his father. He glanced back maybe he could sneak in latter.
"You're staying here."
"What?" He asked and quickly struggled to add sir to it as his father glared at him. "Really sir." He said tentivly keeping himself posed wanting to jump for joy.
"Yes your mother wants a full count now stay here and if you do anything that is not appropriate I will find out and...."
"Yes sir, I won't do anything to blacken your name." He said keeping still as his father walked away and into one of the alternate routes of the dinning hall to leave. He sat down in his seat to count slowly three minutes if his father didn't come back in three minutes then it was true and he could get a closer look at that queen and the clutch. His eyes shone bright. One hundred, two hundred.
