Syx shot at the belly of another spider. "I didn't ask what you are, I asked who you are. I'm accustomed enough to lookalikes." She said in a somewhat dry voice, a personal joke more or less.
More spiders came in through the vent up in the corner of the ceiling, it was obvious they would keep coming until there were none left, or their entry way was blocked.

"Same plot as Resident Evil." Garret replied. He fired at a few more as they flew at the three. "Stupid frikken spiders..." he mumbled.
((I knew Sam was gonna die...I was surprised about the family, but I wish they showed the crash))

"It was a popular theme back in that age." Syx shot a third spider and began inching towards the vent where the spiders had been coming in. "Cover my back please."
(We all knew Sam was gonna die.)

Skarloey walked behind her, his gaze directed downward. "Yeah, I got your rear..." he murmered. "Is there anyone on this ship who doesn't know I'm a fricken chameleon..."

"If you find people who don't know Sam is dead, probably." Syx paused. "Who else knew?" She slowly made her way towards the vent, blasting at spiders which crawled out.

"Well according to this body's memory, his boss. Figures she would know he was dead. She's from the Kore, I believe she played a big part in the overthrow of the crew." He shot into the mass of spider crawling from the vent.

Syx looked around for something to stop up the Vent. "What does the chick look like? With that information we might be able to take her down."

Garret looked around for something he could cover the hole that the spiders were coming from with.
((Yeah, I knew Sam was gonna die, but I thought it was gonna be earlier when she ran into the darkness))

(When she ran into the darkness that was way too early for a death, I knew she was going to live through that, but it would be a close call.)
There was the basic furniture, seats and other items, but otherwise the bridge had little available for plugging the hole. "We might have to make a run for it." Syx said, as she continued with her shots.

Crumpet Lord Skarloey nodded. "I'll cover you. Go." Syx stood her ground for a moment "I''ll head out the moment you tell me the description of the boss chick." She had her suspicions but she couldn't be sure.

"Alright, fine. You cover me for a minute."
He suddenly grunted in pain and clutched his face. Almost a minute later, he looked up, Pendari's head on Sam's shoulders. "Happy?" He asked through clenched teeth. "Now can we leave?"

"That...was kinda gross" Garret said as he saw the head change. He turned his head back toward the spiders just in time; One was lunging at him and he blew a hole through the center of it.

"Ew, that was kinda gross." Syx gave a quick shudder and shot a spider, and then smashed a second one with the heal of her boot. "All right, let's get going, and seal the door behind us." She moved towards the doorway, Pendari on her mind. So it was Jarred's old friend who was responsible. The thought crossed her mind that she might not be able to really trust Jarred either. She made note to confront him on it later, and to keep back-up handy in the process.
((Both of you meet up with Syx in the prison area, that's where she'll do her planning.))
