Kat sighed and gave up on the offering of a ride. Instead, she beat her wings and soared higher into the sky. The sun caught her cobalt crest and made them sparkle like a disco ball. She let out a happy mind-roar and soared higher, not even bothering to flap her wings, for the thermals carried her up. she shouted, touching the bellies of the clouds with her sail.

" Wow that's amazing!" Timmy said. "But look at this!" he went outside and took out a cluster of fireworks, lit them and threw them into the sky. An amazing array of lights and sparks glittered in every pattern imaginable. "Beat that!" Timmy yelled with a smug look on his face.

Mind Reader swooped lower and swung around. She dove lower to the pavement. She pulled up just as the pavement was an inch away. She opened her mouth and snatched Christian by the collar, and used her momentum to pull her up. she said and dropped him off on the building before landing next to him. She lowered her serpintine head to look him in the eye.
