i see. then there must be another male of his species that has to copulate with yoshi in order to fertilize the eggs unless yoshi fertilizes ITself causing hemophilia among the offspring due to inbreeding in the same organism making the offspring expendable thus the reason for throwing them at enemies. sweatdrop xd

That would make sense, in a weird kind of way. Still, poor retarded Yoshi egg, even if it's life would have been horrible, that doesn't mean that it should die in battle.

ummmm.... I'm going to say that the people above me....uhhhhh.... didn't assume that Yoshi's gender depends on it's color, or that all Yoshi's have the ability to crap out eggs, but only the stereo typically girlly color/female Yoshis can actually have Babies. Or maybe the stork delivers them like with Baby Mario and Baby Luigi 3nodding

*laughs* This person above me must not know their history well.... *clears throat* .....Yoshis are dinosaurs which eat mostly fruits, but some have been known to eat a variety of other things as well, and most inhabbit Yoshi's Island of Dinosaurland. The Yoshi was named after the island of which it was discovered, by the way.... Anyways..... Unlike most creatures, Yoshis are highly sensitive with their feelings, and it's known that happy Yoshis live longer, while the more depressed one gets, the less active and more sick it'll become untill it eventually dies. Yoshis can lay eggs, regardless of gender, however, which gender lays eggs containing baby Yoshis has been a question no one can anser yet... The eggs laid by Yoshis are are used as thrown weapons are not to be confused with fertal eggs. The ones thrown are light, easy to break open, and are filled with an explosive similar to what one could call "physical happiness", much like how martial artists can tap into their Ki and use it in a fight. Real Yoshi eggs are quite hard to break open actually. At a young age, Yohis have a strange, metaphysically fluid body, letting them morph into sumbarines and such to allow them safer travel. How a simple dinosaur can shapeshift at a young age or even can have it's weapon eggs travel with them is also a strange mystery... Some believe such abilities were a result of many years of evolution so the species can adapt and survive. So far, color barely has any influence on depicting what gender a Yoshi is, but so far, can be possable to identify status. The mundane green ones are often seen as some sort of leader, most likely due to it being the Jack-of-all-trades type, while darker ones, usually the deeper color shades or even black, tend to be a bit more isolative and aggressive.
*smiles while striking a pose to look awesome*

To the person above me, here's a random fact for you: Pennsylvania is known as the Keystone State because Pennsylvania was the center colony of the original 13 colonies. It held the colonies together like the "keystone" in a window or door arch.
Got from a random fact website 3nodding

Of 200 Anglican priests polled only 68, or 34% could name all Ten Commandments. Half, however, said they believed in space aliens. 3nodding
